This is not true, it's only when you are trying to solve your family problems with gambling profits you can become addicted on a mere playing. That's because they weren't, or won't admit it, so they talk about something else, avoiding the answer.
Saying that you've spent all your savings on gambling doesn't tell us much. You could be a teenager and all your income is the pocket money your mother gives you every week so you can buy yourself a meal at school. Sure, losing that every single week means you're an addict, but it doesn't describe the severity of your situation.

I've never been an addicted to anything. The closest I could get to that was maybe to PC gaming, but I stopped doing that long ago by myself, so maybe I wasn't as addicted as I thought. Some of us are just not prone to addiction. Maybe it's strong will or something?
