41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 08:48:40 AM
They can not actually ban it by making it unable to to be reached, but however any state in the World can perfectly make it outlaw and then sentence anyone who would be caught using it. Hopefully the fashion is more to the legalisation lately than the ban.
That's what I also feel!!

Completely banning the crypto from the market would be like boiling the ocean!! It's because we know that crypto market is totally decentralized with nobody to control, backed only by the blockchain network. Right now we do not have such high levels of technology in existence that can obstruct the blockchain network.

So, legalization is the only option the governments are left with. It has nothing to do with the work we do here. The only impact of legalization that most of us fear here in the community is imposition of taxes on bitcoin income. It is hard to believe that this is gonna happen sooner or later. we need to accept this fact ASAP!!
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: The way of BITCOIN! 2018 on: March 26, 2018, 08:36:17 AM
See, if it's just about giving predictions, we have hell lot to say!! There should be something supportive to back that prediction. Like for obvious reasons, we all know that predictions are not bound to come true but whatever we say must be concrete, i.e., must show some credibility. Like just saying bitcoin would touch the $200k barrier in just a year makes no sense when we presently analyse the market. The Crypto market fluctuates ridiculously, but this is $200k is crazy, I think!! Shocked

But yes bitcoin has had a history of shocking everyone by its unpredictable price movements...so $50k that is one of the widespread prediction running through the forum these days tends to come true seeing the recent market analysis!!
43  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: REASONS OF ILLEGALIZING BITCOIN on: March 24, 2018, 06:21:43 PM
There are so many reasons for making bitcoin illegal. And some of the reasons are listed as below:

-> Evasion of taxes by the citizens of the country is one of the biggest worry that makes the government of any nation to rethink about the legalization of bitcoin. It will make the processes much more tedious for the governments!!

-> Governments of many nations hold an opinion that the bitcoin, if legalized, the incidents of criminal activities in the country would scale up to a great extent!! This is the reason these countries end up banning bitcoin or declaring it illegal.

-> Due to anynoumous nature of the transactions in the crypto market, governments argue that the black market transactions would emerge in their country and it would lead to a depressed economy.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the price of bitcoin will go back to it's previous highest?? on: March 20, 2018, 07:46:09 PM
We have seen that the price of bitcoin has been stucked between 8k and 9kk.Sometimes,it reach 10k.But will the price of bitcoin reach it's previous highest within the end of this year?Which price are you expecting??
The previous high which we experienced in the market was due to a large number of entrants in the market. And then the demand of btc was way too high. But now people have realized the fact that there is not much potential in the market.

Moreover we are in the correction period, so it may take some time.

So stay calm n composed, we may reach that point soon, maybe by the end of this year. If not that point then maybe a it sets a new high! Wink
45  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: why bitcoin illegal in asia? on: March 20, 2018, 07:36:43 PM
bitcoin illegal  some asia country bt why?can you give me some reason about this?? thanks

yes i think the legality of bitcoin is still dubious in some Asian countries. There are two reasons behind it.One of them is that the countries which are banning it are quite small and they don't want btc to effect their economy.

And the second reason is that people try to evade taxes and pursue criminal acts.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin story? Good or bad on: March 20, 2018, 07:06:29 PM
Every one has a story to tell so share your bitcoin story for us to learn from. Either good or bad.

My bitcoin story is quite short!

I came to know about bitcoin from a friend of mine. We were casually sitting and randomly this topic popped up all of a sudden!! So it captured my interest. So I wanted to explore more about this topic and That's how it went on!!
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 20, 2018, 03:28:20 PM
I think this is quite a diplomatic question what you are asking because I think if bitcoin is able to keep up with the transaction times and transactions costs then obviously it is going to survive. But if it is unable to meet up with its scaling issues then obviously people will begin to move towards other alternatives which are either cheaper or faster.  But if you say in terms on investment then obviously other crypto currencies are surely going to take it over as they provide a better scope for increase than bitcoin.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC be a major in college? on: March 19, 2018, 06:38:36 PM
Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?
I  think it should become a part of the college curriculum. It will definitely be a smart and an intelligent move. To spread the knowledge about the crypto would become easier if such kind of step    is taken up by the education ministry.

Students right now just need to be educated regarding this topic and they can really do wonders. Every time a get to meet a student and get to discuss this topic with him, I really get to know a hell lot of new ideas because the youth has a different perspective to look at the things.

with time I really hope each n every country takes a step forward to introduce crypto as a subject in the schools or colleges!!
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Discouraged with Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 06:30:52 PM
Am I disappointed? Very. I probably sound like a broken record already, but bitcoin is really just crippled right now. Pretty much the only thing that bitcoin is alive right now is just because it's the #1 cryptocurrency and it's the cryptocurrency that gets all the media attention. If bitcoin was a top >10 coin I think bitcoin would be dead already. Sure, lightning network is coming. This will be a huge step especially for merchants to accept BTC, but I don't think this will be enough. Only time will tell, and I'm still definitely hoping for the best.
Yes that is true...no doubt lightning network is coming...but only time will tell what's gonna happen in the future. Right now the market is very down and yes everybody in the market is quite a bit upset at this state. But still there is nothing like bitcoin. like the position it has upheld until now cannot be beaten!!

And you're pretty much right to the extent that bitcoin truly rules the crypto market as of now. No other crypto coin can really beat bitcoin in terms of the value and the fame it has gaiuned in this span of time is truly remarkable!!
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m out on: March 19, 2018, 02:52:35 PM
I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.
Don't get so much demoralized. if you're an old market  player, you must be knowing this for sure that crypto market is subject to fluctuations and these are the normal part of this market. So you can never be sure of the next move of the market.

So just stay calm n composed instead of getting this much anxious n worried about the market.

You'll soon see better market conditions that may help you regain confidence in the crypto market.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use your Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 02:47:33 PM
Have you spend your Bitcoin allready? Like buying pizza Wink or maybe you have booked your hotel with. Let's share your experiences.

As for me, I still have my Bitcoin in my wallet and don't know when I acually will use them in daily life.
In my country, bitcoin is not yet accepted as a common means of payment. So yes it's really not possible to transact directly in bitcoin. It's kinda difficult for sometimes getting btc converted into our own currency , because of the transaction rates, they're high!!

but yes like for now the bitcoin price isn't high so that I can convert it into my own currency, because it'd be kinda loss situation for me. But when i'm in dire need of funds, I cuse BTC for meeting my daily expenditure. Otherwise, it s much a source of investment n trading for me.
52  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: March 19, 2018, 02:24:10 PM
Here in my country which is now an upcoming tiger economy (though we are still classified as a third-world country), we are free to participate in Bitcoin both buying and selling as the government is treating Bitcoin just like any other foreiign money.

However, I am sure that only a very, very small fraction of us are declaring our Bitcoin income. It seems to me that the government is not that interested to get strict with individuals as long as they can tax the Bitcoin exchange provider for the service rendered.

I am then wondering the situation with other countries. Can your government really be able to track if you never declared gains made from Bitcoin transactions?
See people are so smart these days...they know a way out for everything. That is why they have been able to manage big scams and defraud officials. But that is not the point. The point here is that we being honest taxpayers, are the responsible citizens of this nation. So paying off taxes on bitcoin if demanded by the government is our responsibility.

More the laws become stricter and their implementation being enforced strictly, more it will become difficult for the defrauders to escape from the tax liability.

P.S. : Let's not evade taxes and support the government regime.
53  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: March 13, 2018, 04:52:50 PM
so i wanna know do i realy have to pay taxes on bitcoins and does my gov recognize bitcoins as my property and do i have to care about any legal action by  gov on my bitcoin property ?
Dude, I think you forgot to mention a very important particular about yourself!! Which country are you from!!??

The policies, laws, rules and regulations are different in every country and taxation on bitcoin is a part of the governmental policy. These policies regarding taxation on bitcoin are not uniform throughout the world. So you may confirm this whether your bitcoin transactions in your country attract taxation.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: March 13, 2018, 04:37:42 PM
I have opportunity in overseas job around 1000 usd. but my mind now not in a stable manner.

please guide me whats the best option doing crypto currency on the home or move to the job overseas?
See you have to consider a hell lot of factors before accepting a job proposal, that may include: the working conditions, pay scale, expenses of living overseas, family matters, personal scenario, health conditions, present state of mind, etc. etc.

If all these factors go into positive, then do go for this job. Because crypto is what you can manage side by side. It depends on what are you basically indulged in the crypto market; trading, investment or what!?!

All you need to do is make a proper time schedule and manage your time for everything, because living away from home isn' an easy job. You need to do alot of things and manage everything by yourself. So yes the schedule might become hectic a bit...but with time you will be able to tackle and handle your tasks effectively and efficiently.
55  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buy bitcoin for someone else? on: March 13, 2018, 09:24:53 AM
Hi, Can some one advise

My friend wanted to invest in bitcoins He wanted to give me say £1000 from his bank and gave it to me in cash, If I was to say put the cash into  my bank and set up buying bitcoins from my online account would this be legal? , He has no knowledge on how to buy or trade them..

Thank you

See, it depends on the law of the country you reside in. You must be aware of the applicable policies in the government your country. So, if you want to help your friend, guide him properly, and help him to understand the basics of bitcoin investment. the transaction you are talking about is legal in most of the countries, but that would be good if you consider the legal requirements of your country.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before and After Bitcoin came on: March 13, 2018, 06:24:04 AM
How did you know bitcoin? Did it greatly influence your way of life now? Is it a game changer or just something temporary? Feel free to share your thoughts. I read but I don’t judge.
umm... How it came to my knowledge, was through an article I randomly read on a social media website. I was just scrolling through various articles and then there was an article about Bitcoin. It interested me a lot. I then had an urge of reading and exploring more about it. I even talked to a friend of mine about this who had quite a bit of knowledge regarding this field. So from then I started exploring the bitcoin world and became a member of this community.

And then the second part of the story, yes it did greatly influence my life, that is why, I'm so engrossed into this field. Wink

And yes I don't know about others, it did act as a game changer for me. I don't think it can have a temporary impact on anybody's life anyhow.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: March 13, 2018, 06:14:03 AM
Ups and downs are the common feature of the crypto market. And being in this space for so many years, I've become used to it. In fact it's not only me, who has become used to all this, it's for everyone who has spend a considerable time in this bitcoin community. Trading definitely teaches us so many things and patience is one of the most important teachings of the crypto trading. So a situation, the kind, you are talking about is what I've been through a number of times!! So I preferably HOLD in such a situation. Of course, the responses may vary depending on the intensity of the situations. And one most important thing in such situations is that one should stay calm and composed instead of getting panicked and anxious.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: February 28, 2018, 04:50:57 PM
Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
We all know the harsh reality about ICOs that most of them are nothing just a piece of shit made just to scam people out of nothing. Facebook has a reputation which it has made for last 15 years. They don't want to hamper their reputation by advertising scams and that also when govts. don't have a clear step against or in favor of it. This is the sole reason why facebook has banned these ads. They don't have any personal grudge with any ICO.
60  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Court cases against bitcoin? on: February 28, 2018, 04:40:23 PM
Is there any court cases against bitcoin? why do Europian Bank say bitcoin does not involve traditional financial actors?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
There can not be any case on bitcoin because of its nowhere in the law itself. No traditional law has any mention about this cryptocurrency word. Moreover no one is kind of imposing bitcoin on anyone. Its the own trust of people due to which they are adopting it. Secondly there hasnt been any scam by the bitcoin blockchain in which the bitcoins of someone was confiscated or something like that. Even my laptop doesn't has any financial actors but if 10 people say its valuable and can be taken as investment this doesn't really makes me a criminal.
