Any news from hchc?  It's 2 weeks already.  He should have received his k16 by now.

TH has a few more hours to ship the boards.

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-13+24:00:00EDT
42  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 13, 2013, 02:38:20 AM
Marto has his hex16 board fully operational at very reasonable prices, I see no reason why TH can not outsource this to Marto and still turn a profit, with the exception of components and cases.

The silence from TH is concerning, perhaps TH could comment on the above.

Unfortunately I believe the next words from TH is claiming bankruptcy and then were all fu*ked :/
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 12, 2013, 10:55:49 PM
Any word from hchc on this yet ?

If by any word you mean even a video or proof showing single k-16's hashing with low hardware errors, let alone 4 working together....... then no.

1day left... for the k64

And what happens if they dont deliver?

Zefir

Update: Remaining Batches ship within 12h

I was notified today that the remaining 3 batches will ship within 12h, which essentially means they left Avalon HQ and are in the hands of logistic services.

Since the refund queue only reached ~2500 chips by now, I was not able to request another batch refund - now it is not possible any more. Pending refunds can therefore not be served, please do not request for further refunds.

Not sure if you are happy or disappointed by this update, but nevertheless: please double check and ensure that you have entered and locked your shipping destination for the remaining orders. If you did not, your chips will be kept back and you waste precious time of maximum potential mining income.

So does that mean TH will have the chips and be able to assemble our boards?
45  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] TerraHash - Order # 1230 - 3x K64 Boards (54 GHash/s) - Cheaper on: September 12, 2013, 02:56:43 AM
Hey, as the title says I am selling my TerraHash order Smiley The order is all paid for and as you can view in the picture it is "processing".

Picture: http://gyazo.com/39c5c7b3f5e7fbffed2cdf4f7cab525b

I am selling it for only $2500 USD and you will have to pay the shipping (I will try hard to convince TerraHash to change the shipping address to yours so you can receive it faster). If I am not able to get the address changed (it is a possibility) I will be sending it the very same day I receive the order.

I am in desperate need for money at the moment, that is why I am selling it for a bit cheaper.

I will not be offering a refund for any reason what so ever. If you purchase it, it is yours. Purchase is final.

I will however be accepting PayPal, Wire Transfer, or any other method you have in mind, and of course I will accept BTC (We will convert $2500 USD into bitcoins at the time of the purchase) Grin.

I live in Canada so if you do decide to pay via PayPal, Wire Transfer, etc we will convert $2500 USD to CAD that way I can avoid loosing a lot at my local bank conversions.

Please contact me via a PM here.

Thanks a lot for reading, it is much appreciated,

Filip K. (Shimple)

2 days left TerraHash / Amir, you have had 12 days to deliver.

Where is Terrahash? They are not responding to emails, tickets, voice call (mail box still not setup).
They are obviously monitoring the forum though.

Let it be known that Terrahash has my chips today. So the two weeks clock starts now.
I need to know what size and spec of fan to buy but I can't find the info as terrahash is not responding to anything.

Looks like someone called TH's bluff.
Now we will see...

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-13+24:00:00EDT

I am very doubtful that they will deliver. Im betting they took the chips and your never getting those back :/
47  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 10, 2013, 11:20:05 PM
I can almost guarantee that TH will be like BFL. Ask for a refund now, 6-8 months after you receive your product and they say no refund, you got your stuff.

48  Other / Off-topic / Re: Terrahash Order Decisions on: September 10, 2013, 11:09:51 PM
Forum Name: Shimple
Order Number: 1230
Order Status: Processing
What you like to see happen: I would like a 100% refund right now, but I am willing to settle for 50% now and another 50% in a period of 3 months.
49  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 10, 2013, 09:35:41 PM
Here is a current list of what Customers are asking (All the variations that I could find):

Refunds:

100% Refund right now
100% Refund in 3 Months
70% Refund Right now (Due to Part Costs that cannot be refunded)

Exchanges (No Additional Cost):

Receive current units ordered and 20% "Coupon" on Next Venture
Wait for Avalon Gen 2 Chips then build out orders and 20% "Coupon" on Next Venture
Use money spent on current order on Next Venture

If anyone can think of anymore legit variations I'll add them to the list, but off the top of my head these are the ones the community is asking for and what Terrahash offered.

If we can keep this thread organized it may help Terrahash come to a conclusion on what to do quicker. Right now there are plenty of options on the table and new information coming out all the time.

I concur with keeping a simple list of questions to answer for TerraHash.  Thanks Bar.

My only addition would be a specific date for the refund in 3 months vs it being ambiguous.  It was also mentioned that they would do a partial refund immediately, but hopefully we could get a time frame for that as well as I do not believe anyone has gotten a response.

Lastly, it occurred to me that perhaps a third route would be for you to simply refund 50% or what makes financial sense, and then fully in 3 months.  It would at minimum show good faith, and I'm sure most (hopefully) would be patient enough to wait for the rest.  It would provide smoother cash flow distribution and shield you further from legal problems.

Definitely agree with you on that statement. That would be wonderful.

It's good to hear that you've come back to the world of the living TH.
Now can I please have my refund of my order #630.
I'm not going to wait for that Yifu bastard to clusterfuck us again with his "business done right" bullshit.
He can stick his 2nd gen. chips up his ass!

Agreed. I just want my refund too and I'm not gonna look back at mining bitcoins. Screw it.
51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 10, 2013, 08:24:00 PM

I can promise, we will be more open and be better with customer service this time!

yea right.

Anyone wanna keep track how many times we will hear this line again?

Maybe they can start by answering some of the tickets which i believe noone is getting answers to?

Maybe picking up your damn phone once in a week? That be a good start. [ I noticed that before when I called it would imidaitely send me to the "this person is not available" message but now it rings for a few seconds and THEN gives the same message. Lol? Step in the right direction? They turned on their phone...]
52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 10, 2013, 07:51:59 PM
TerraHash I know your reading this. Come on, seriously. This is fu*king frustrating! I want my refund? Order number 1230. You dont answer tickets or phone calls this is ridicules! Seriously, give me a refund PLEASE.
TH has already said that if you want a full refund it is a 3 month wait.

That is BS. Its a long stall. If you dont keep asking your never going to get it.

And with the 70% refund? Is that 70% and game over? Or 70% now and over time we will get the 30% back?

54  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] TerraHash Batch 1 Order #1230 - 54 GHash/s - 3 x 18GH/s boards on: September 08, 2013, 07:16:07 PM
Hi, I am trying to sell 3 x 18 GH/s boards as the title says (total of 54 GHash/s) that I have purchased from TerraHash.

I am a student and I am new to this mining stuff. I was hoping I would get the board sooner and use it to pay off some of my expenses etc but that didn't work out. I am still waiting on them to be shipped.

I paid $2800 USD via wire transfer and I desperately need my money back. I will ship the boards the SAME DAY I recieve them via priority mail as long as you pay the expenses for it.

If you are interested in buying please post here or PM me.

Perferably I would like to take the payment via PayPal.

I will not be offering refunds if you decide to change your mind and go with a different company.

Thanks
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 08, 2013, 06:54:15 PM
They should cancel Avalon order and convert existing orders to the new venture as well as refund who asks.
Avalon is the lost cause at this point.

They honestly should. And 3 months is just stupid. We all know its a long stall.
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 08, 2013, 06:31:04 PM
I dont understand how they can have 2 PetaHash of mining power when they did not even ship a SINGLE order from their pre order page? What the ef? They are having trouble getting the chips for the pre orders let alone the freaking 2 PetaHash cr*p. This is just getting more and more ridicules. I swear, im starting to feel that after this PetaHash bs they will start on a plan C? :/

Are you new to the mining scene?

They are ordering chips from one of the new ASIC manufacturers. Probably one of the following: HashFast, Cointerra, KnC.

I imagine with a November launch it would be either HashFast or Cointerra.

Once they receive the chips they will build out the boards and host them themselves.

The only issue they have right now is BKKs unfinished firmware hooking up between K16s, once that is done they will STILL be waiting on Avalon chips likely.

Yes, I am new to this
So are you telling me that the hosting is gonna be full force before we recieve our boards? If that's the case that's just bull. TH needs to give me a refund I've been waiting for a month now

Now they are going to ship our products in half a year and say "whoops yeah no need for a refund now you have your product"

This is exactly what I'm afraid of.

Yep. Same here. F**cking annoying :/
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 07, 2013, 10:33:32 PM
TH I want my refund please. Order 1230! I tried contacting you many many many many times via support and phone but you don't answer either of them.

What makes you think they read this thread? Wink

That's a very valid point. This completely blows :/ Frik.
