41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i Invest more??? on: November 09, 2020, 08:40:55 PM
Hi , i have invested more than 50 Eth for many projects in this year and i have got about 20 eth as the profit.  Cool  Is it enough ??
And now im analysed about few projects and finally i selected 4 projects . But i'm actually need to invest for only 2 project , So i need your help for next step. And i hope your answer with a reason..

1). CurioInvest (A community of Altra rare car collectors)

2). Filescoin   ( decentralized storage network designed to store humanity's private information.)

3). HediCoin ( Swiss crypto token)

4). Insolar

For now , my choice is   1) Insolar  2) Filescoin  3) HeidiCoin  4) CurioInvest

***Insolar is a quite old project So i can trust  their team more than other projects ,
***And Filescoin is a new one but i think its a good concept for the whole world and i think i can get more profit by investing to their pre-sale(from 7 th nov 2020) ,
***And Heidicoin is also a quite old project and its already listed on some exchanges and price has been changed in between 20$-35$ ,
***CurioInvest is also a trusted team and i have to wait for long time to get a goo profit from it ,

So these are only my reasons (only a short description)  , Please share your idea here  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Investing more is always a wise thing especially when we do it regularly like monthly to really leverage our savings and make a massive profit in few years time but the best thing is to pickup reputed coins for investment that are established, in demand with multiple use cases and preferably with massive userbase. So i would also suggest to pick some top coins as newer coins can be risky.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ways to earn USD on Binance don't need to be traded! on: November 09, 2020, 08:12:25 PM
Binance has a few great ways to make money that you can refer to such as:
Flexible staking (you can stake the coins supported by Binance, enjoy interest and withdraw at any time)
Hold BNB to receive airdrop SXP token
and many other ways.
Maximum profit is never redundant.
The staking profits that you are talking about at binance are offered at below par rates so once i checked them never got back to use them because their are many other platforms available now that offer competitive returns without any fixed deposit or  strict rules.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 08, 2020, 07:59:04 PM
Binance has been a leading force with respect to initial exchange offering (IEO) evidenced by its extraordinary success in raising funds for crypto startupa via its Launchpad. The likes of Gifto, Bread, BitTorent, Fetch.Ai, Celer Network, Elrond, Perlin, Kava, Injective Protocol have successfully met their funding goals via Binance IEO.

My concern, however, is in the performance of its recent IEOs such as thoseof Injective Protocol(INJ) and Axie Infinity (AXS). In the past, investors are often certain of getting almost ×10 of their capital once the token is launched after IEO but these two tokens hardly did ×2 of their IEO price. Does it mean that the Binance Effect is already waning or has weakened?

AXS was sold at $0.1 at IEO price but only breezed to $0.29 briefly while INJ sold at $0.4 managed to hit $1.49 as its brief ATH. These results are unlike Binance's past IEOs which made investors jostle to get in to the launchpad.

Do you think that it the end of Binance IEO has come or the exchange would rediscover its earlier form?

Let me know your opinion.
I do not think it is over because binance is still coming up with good projects and if they maintain their quality in terms of new projects then i think the launchpad will keep performing well.
Recent depression was due to IDOs if we can call it as many projects rushed to raise funds at decentralized platforms like uniswap or bounce finance etc.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 08, 2020, 07:10:53 PM
Someone have to do this from time to time, I believe that many newbies are still victims to scam projects till this days, we gotta keep warning them, not all can be safe but as for those who want to learn, here you go

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do
3. Do research on exchanges as there are many bad eggs among the good exchanges
4. Follow the crypto investment rule, don't invest more than you can afford to lose
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the way of winners in crypto space

All the best.
I think let people do what they want, they will experience and learn themselve, no need to really school them because no one will listen.
I am sure the topic starter would have learnt the same way as well because i have learnt this way too. So only time and real experiences are the best teacher.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 07, 2020, 05:32:30 PM
We all have heard some of the Uniswap pull-rugs recently, there are some thread on here you can see, I made on of them as https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5281309.0 , but the list is going to be infinite if I want to add some of them daily, Usually, we hear big scams but a lot of them never mention as they are so small in comparison with those big ones, DEX was a good idea and neat but UNISWAP and Bounce.finance these days have been a reason of so many pull rugs, I don't remember I hear so many scams like now before, do you agree with me?

I think these scams could affect on crypto reputation, as many newbies, especially reach ones would like to make a house on firm and safe ground, I wonder how we can help to reduce scams on DEXes?I know with code analysis we can guess that more likely but what about those ones who don't know the coding that much? how we can find out potential scams before they pull the rug?
Uniswap has been a revolutionary platform for both crypto enthusiasts and traders but this side of uniswap is definitely worth looking into. As a community we could suggest them solutions to fight against scammers or put some quality barriers for new projects to raise funds and the developers of uniswap can apply the most suitable features for the betterment of the platform and also safe gaurding the interests of the investors.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH2.0 New Update on: November 06, 2020, 04:16:30 PM
After the successful launch of the critical issue of the ETH2.0 and Spadina testnet which later finalized to be healthy and good to go there seems to be some slowdown in the ETH2.0 project but I am happy to tell you that another phase of the ETH2.0 (deposit contract) was successfully released yesterday.

Note : People are advised to "Check, double-check, triple-check the deposit contract address before sending any funds anywhere 🚀"

Link to the released phase.
It is indeed great to know that Eth has passed its testing phase successfuly after being in testing for several months.
Now the most exciting thing is that minnet for eth 2.0 is also announced for december 1 which is not far away and im expecting good fomo in eth price around that time and i hope eth will be able to break 1k mark.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 06, 2020, 01:46:46 PM
I'm glad I don't end up promoting this bounty project, here are reasons why I don't join the bounty campaign.

1. They tend to use small exchanges for fund raising
2. The team lied that they don't need money, they claimed they are well funded and yet they use small exchanges
3. The project use case isn't a new idea, infact they have too many competitors
4. Upon aiming for small exchanges to raise fund they are giving up too high allocation for bounty hunters, meaning they have no experience about crypto space and their exchanges
5. John mcafee name was tagged to the project banner and they keep sharing it as if John McAfee is all they need to be successful when we know that he is a king of nonsense Hypes.
It seems like they have not been able to create the essential hype about the project and looks like there are not any traders or market makers available for this project.
Personally, the project looks good to me and i will give them time to develop quality apps but yes the way the price has dumped is really bad i hope they will adopt some strategy to stabilize it.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 05, 2020, 09:52:30 PM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.
I think that the first few months of the new year will be decisive and will set the direction of the market, if 2021 starts with dominant bulls i will expect more bulls for the remaining year with few dips and corrections on the way up.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 05, 2020, 08:19:01 PM
Get ready fellas, it looks like 2021 will be the year we've been waiting for since 2017, PayPal CEO, Dan Schulman, disclosed its clients are signing up to be the first to use the company’s crypto services at an alarming rate. PayPal has started to permit 10% of its customer base to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. What do you think will start happening from here on ? Huge adoption
Paypal service can be the game changer as we all know there are millions of active users there so we can easily say that paypal can be the big thing that can speed up crypto mass adoption in no time.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What haven't most people not heard about that can help them make money? on: November 05, 2020, 06:54:42 PM
Mostly there is a lot of manipulation by the big players in the market especially in low volume coins where the big players can control the market and they can pump and dump the price according to their needs whenever they want. As far as your question regarding bots and autotrading is concerned, yes there are such services available but they are not free of risks either.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need a coin that does not have negative volatility? on: November 02, 2020, 09:47:49 PM
Do you need a coin that does not have negative volatility?

1. Is it possible?
2. If not possible, why?
Questions of an amateur, what do you think?

Not a stablecoin pegged to the dollar or fiat.

I found one of the options here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267705.0
There are a few projects working on elastic supply that can help to stabilize the price of the token based on set criteria according to which supply and value of the token can increase or decrease but it will always stay in the range and i think such coin can be a great asset for active traders.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right investment for cryptocurrency... on: November 02, 2020, 08:50:20 PM
If you know what you are doing and if you the project/coin and have all the trust then the more you invest from support areas the better.
If you are confused about picking the best coins then just pick a couple from top 20 list.
I have seen many people making life changing income from investing with good amount and making massive profit from bull season.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: November 01, 2020, 08:46:29 PM
A lot of cryptocurrencies have been created throughout time.

I personally have not held onto any old or even dead blockchains.

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them.

I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto.

I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy

One of my new picks is Leacoin because of its age and simple configuration.
I am not sure that all my coins that i think are old are from 2014 but i can imagine they are from 2012 to 2016. Some of them are ltc, btc, doge, eth, waves, neo. I am holding small amounts of most of the old coins but decent amount of btc and eth only.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: November 01, 2020, 08:14:59 PM
Do you happen to know of any fast food restaurants which accepts crypto in the mainstream world? It would be extremely convenience to buy food with crypto anywhere in the world. Since crypto often behaves like cash (no middleman or KYC required), it proves to be even better than credit/debit cards as a payment method. The only issue would be dealing with price volatility. But fast food restaurants can simply convert crypto to Fiat instantly via the use of a payment gateway (like Bitpay or CoinPayments).

If you happen to know of any fast food restaurant in the US or anywhere in the world which accepts crypto as payment method, please let me know. I'd imagine this would increase mainstream adoption of crypto at a fast pace. Paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum at KFC or Burger King would be so much better than paying with cash or credit/debit cards, in my own opinion. Thoughts? Huh
There are many places and eateries where crypto is accepted directly and indirectly. Plus do not forget that now there are many apps and services where you can pay with crypto and the vendor will receive in fiat so win win scenario for all.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous teams on: October 31, 2020, 09:46:47 PM
Is it just me or what? I honestly dislike projects that have anonymous team when the project isn't a privacy Monero kinda thing, even few Privacy tokens have teams that aren't anonymous, shit I just feel like they are hidden for a purposes, some kinda easy getaway? What's your thought about this?
This is a new and easy method for scammers to raise funds and then exit scam or rug pull. This thing is back in fashion due to recent defi hype but as the market has matured a but now since ico hype im sure this trend will not continue for long as people will realize it and stop funding such lame projects.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some bounty hunters are so ungrateful on: October 31, 2020, 07:08:44 PM
It is natural my friend, when the hunters will not receive the reward after following all the eules of the campaigns and working for months what do you expect them to be? They will obviously be ungrateful and even abusive which are seen in telegram channels of such campaigns.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Harvest Finance loses 34 million due to bug/hack on: October 30, 2020, 07:16:23 PM
‘Engineering Error’ Led to $34 Million DeFi Hack, Harvest Finance Says

So apparently there was some clever hacker who stole a lot of money using a instant loan bug and swapped out a lot of money from the curve pool

Harvest Finance has announced 1 million bounty to anyone who helps track the hacker .

Are more Defi and staking projects suspectible to these kind of hacks ? How to be more safe ?

Full article here

https://decrypt.co/46445/engineering-error-34-million-defi-hack-harvest-finance
Another incidence that proves that defi infrastructure is not mature enough till date to trust with our money.
Already huge amounts of funds have been jacked or stolen and investors have been trapped.
The project owners should come forward and take responsibility by compensating the investors.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 30, 2020, 06:01:19 PM
Every new tech is high risk especially defi has proven to be a bloated trend full of contract errors and loopholes and then there were so many rug pulls that the reputation crashed and even the good projects are facing downtrend but i am hopeful with time good defi projects will make good standing in the market.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emirex delist their token after unlocking it what a joke on: October 29, 2020, 02:15:17 PM
This is scamming their bounty hunters, after 10 months they finally unlock their token EMRX, it is still trading when the token for bounty hunters are locked, but soon after they unlock it, they delist their token on their own exchange now, bounty hunters has no way to sell their token, they are very cunning and they want toi scam theirt bounty hunters, now the token is stuck on the platform with no way to sell.

If you feel that bounty hunters are scammed in anyway in this regard then you definitely should contact the team about it and if no solution is provided from them, you should open scam accusation thread here and other places to atleast name and shame them.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ARE NO LONGER VIABLE on: October 29, 2020, 01:33:01 PM
They were never viable in my opinion, if a few campaigns have paid good via airdrops that does not mean all airdrops would be like that the hard fact is that almost 99% airdrops are either scam or have no value.
