41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins valuable? on: July 08, 2018, 01:07:42 PM
the value of bitcoin is what people are willing to pay for it and what people believe the value should be. It will never be different, thanks god. Unlike centralized currencies that are being set on prices

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold runs blockchain technology on: July 05, 2018, 08:22:15 AM
There is $10 to $100 worth of Gold in each computer processor (intel, qualcomm etc..). Gold runs the technology world.

Gold is not getting used in laptop and computers only but also in smartphones and TVs . The gold used in these devices is not recoverable and it make around 10%  of the total demand of gold. There is still too much scope in the expansion of the  smartphone industry so this demand will go up and remember this  amount of gold is lost (deflation). There are other industry uses of gold (like medicine, aerospace etc.) but they do not make a significant portion.

Gold is at $1300/ounce and 1 Bitcoin is $6,200   Huh

it's too simplified to put it this way, but you're right, it's a very interesting observation indeed Smiley this way we could add up also other minerals found in processors, the value would have grown
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: July 03, 2018, 03:08:18 PM
Yeahh , you are right i think.. Plus, they will set unlogical hardcap or total supply of coin compares to their ICO price. And the roadmap just unclear to be understood, the teams are anonymous and can't be track down. Dev and admin usually not open to public, and finally maybe we can find out about their projects rating on some ICO reviewing site

ridiculous hard cap doesn't necessarily mean the project is scam, they might just be hungry. That is very normal even with genuine projects. Anonymous teams for ICO projects are a huge red flag though
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: July 03, 2018, 03:06:20 PM
It really wasn't easy to predict the outcome especially on the ICO Uchit because they were so transparent that it blinded most of the investors and bounty hunters. Maybe most of us hunters are just looking on the outside we're not doing more research on what's really happening inside the project.

you can't really know what's happening inside the project unless you're somehow involved. All you can check is the team and the idea, hoping that the execution will work out just as expected
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: July 02, 2018, 01:46:50 PM
I recently entered the topic of crypto currency and now is not a very good time for earnings. Since bitcoin is falling. Please tell me how you can make money on the fall of the market.

In a short, I will recommend you please go for trading.
Obviously it will be Short term trading. If you know about trading, it will be helpful. Suppose, you bought a coin after 2-3 hours or 10-12 hours you can see the rise/fall of price. Then you should sell your your coin Though the price falling down. Then quickly buy more coin. Again try to sell. No loss here. If you loss eth/btc, you will increase coin.Follow this rules.

I think it's pretty obvious that he's a newbie and knows nothing about trading, also your strategy doesn't make sense to me, maybe I just don't understand your language...
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: July 02, 2018, 01:45:13 PM
Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
Actually they have so many altcoins for now are going to survive and always increasing the prices.
But we need to choose of the altcoins if you think it will be going to survive and this was also have a potential so that we can earn more enough profit for it.

right, some of them will, but the % of those will be much lower than what see today. Basically almost every coin is alive nowadays unless no one is working on it. It will be more difficult to keep the coin running in future
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to the market over the next few months? on: July 02, 2018, 01:43:18 PM
The encryption market has performed very poorly this year, and the market is really falling. The price of cryptocurrencies fell by wave. It continues until now, and I think it will be difficult for the encryption market to pick up in the coming months.

you're talking about some encryption market, whatever it is. If you're referring to cryptocurrencies, it's not the same as encryption... Crypto are using encryption indeed, but so are fiat banks
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Futures on: June 28, 2018, 11:03:09 AM
We dont ever know what will happen in the near future . For me i think btc future is totally going to a good condition , i feel btc price will increase . I have a lot of posotive vibes in my bodyto have an positive result . 😊

I see that huge majority of the people in this thread didn't understand what bitcoin futures mean. It's like that unfortunately with everything, there are clueless people who think they will be millionaires overnight
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy more and HODL!!! on: June 28, 2018, 11:01:11 AM
Bitcoin price is decreasing day by day I think I will wait a little longer to enter  Bitcoin need strong good news for its price to shoot up but I aren't seeing any but if have the balls you can go all in now because price will surely go up is a matter of time.

it will go up. There are many good news but the price is not going up just yet. It's like a sleeping giants that must show up sooner or later, I'm not worried about it at all!
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should write about our successes to increase Bitcoin adoption on: June 28, 2018, 11:00:13 AM
I was going through a African airport today, on my way back from a project that we launched in Kenya and I saw this book in a little book shop, Mr Bitcoin: How I became a millionaire at 21 by Mpho Dagada

http://jacana.bookslive.co.za/blog/2018/06/07/launch-mr-bitcoin-how-i-became-a-millionaire-at-21-by-mpho-dagada-7-june/

Even though this might not be one of the best books that I have ever read, it shows the success that might be possible, even in countries where you might never have thought that it was possible.

I spend most of my flight home reading the book and it made me think that more people should write books and articles on their successes with Bitcoin to increase adoption.

People like the rags to riches stories and it motivates them to achieve the same level of success.  Wink

even the success story books won't be enough for people who are ruled by emotions and they see the red numbers. I think it's best not to have those people in the community at all
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG HOPE FOR BITCOIN on: June 28, 2018, 10:59:18 AM
ya.. I agree with you every dip is a buying opportunity.  Buy the dip and sell the tip Smiley).  whilst first half of 2018 being bearish, i am hoping second half of 2018 being bullish.

that's the right attitude. With so many topics started on this forum saying how bitcoin is dead for sure, we will have some more good opportunities to buy cheap coins from these weak hands Smiley
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 10:16:58 AM
What you say is very true. I'll add a bit to this. we should know every detail of Bitcoin if we want to invest so you will not regret.

I'm not sure whether knowing all details regarding bitcoin are necessary to know before the investment. It's important to understand why you're investing in the first place
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: June 26, 2018, 10:16:04 AM
Selling bitcoin is not a stupid decision. its about at what position you are standing. if you bought bitcoin at first half of 2017 then you are still in huge profit. but if you bought it at the end of 2017 and now you are selling it now than its stupidity.
well, even selling bitcoin at the right time will make you better. well, we do not know when bitcoin prices go down, but when you sell them at that time, chances are you'll get a considerable profit. I guess that's not something stupid when someone informs accurate information about this.

In my opinion, it is not really stupid decision why? simply because in this kind of business we buy and sell based on the value of bitcoin in the market.

We enter here because we will have a big profit when we sell the bitcoin if the price gets high. We can say that it is stupid if only you have sell your coins lower than you had them.

it's stupid if you sell them with loss and solely for the purpose of panic. I did the same thing while back and I learned from my mistake, but I can surely label that as very stupid Smiley
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do companies like Apple, Microcoft do not enter the crypto currency market? on: June 25, 2018, 09:55:02 AM

Why such large companies do not enter the cryptocurrency market, which can lead to a big push up.

there are companies like this entering the crypto market, I'm pretty sure microsoft were accepting bitcoin at some stage for some of their companies before and I'm pretty sure Apple and other giants will do the same soon
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing your life savings on BTC? Hurting everyday? on: June 25, 2018, 09:54:11 AM
People buy lottery ticket all the time, that’s total fine, spending $5 here and there for fun. But if you mortgage your house to buy lottery tickets you are crazy.

Same thing with bitcoin. Spend a few grand for chuckle is fine, chances are you won’t see your money again. Heck I would pick up a few bitcoins too when it drops below $100.

If you spent your life savings buy Bitcoin, get out now while you still have something left! New crypto currencies are coming to replace BTC. Stop torment yourself everyday watching your money goes into red day after day after weeks after months.... you will spend your retirement working at McDonald’s trying to earn it back!

I see resentment speaking for you. Because the prices are dropping it doesn't mean they won't grow again. If you can't imagine that, then why are you even here? Just go to buy your lottery ticket if you think it's same
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: June 25, 2018, 09:37:51 AM
when is the atom DEX ?
next 2 years

I have seen the questions like this to you in this thread before, but you never answered. Please share with us your portfolio of projects you have developed, we would love to see that. As you are very vocal.

do not even pay attention to that guy, he's not worth it. And yes, he went quiet once again after this question has been raised. Let's rather focus on the project instead of arguing with petty minds.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: June 22, 2018, 03:06:28 PM
Now a days business and product is for all. Every country exchange their core product with other countries to meet theit demand. What you think Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business?

it can help a lot, especially for the international transactions. Just try to send the money abroad, it can take 1 week in some cases. With crypto it's almost immediate, which makes large difference. Not speaking of fees.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked that happen in some exchange scam or not? on: June 22, 2018, 03:04:11 PM
What kind of security measures? The only thing I can think of is storing most of the funds in cold storage which I believe most of the exchanges are doing now but since Bithumb is a big exchange, the hot wallet contained a lot of money. An exploit can be found in any system. If the users themselves don't care about their funds (that's what leaving your funds stored in an exchange means), why would Bithumb or any other service care? If you don't have control over your private keys = you don't have the coins.

they should care because they're responsible for them while they're in their wallets. It has never happened to Coinbase for example, so it's important to choose the right exchange
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Whales are playing a dangerous game on: June 19, 2018, 09:55:24 AM
The Whales could possibly destroy BTC!

BTC Whales control one third of BTC

The Good news is the SEC are investigating Whales for market manipulation.

If the Justice department can link a whale to a futures position that was say SHORT and then find out the Whale dumped a mother load of BTC on the market it will be jail time for those involved.

The SEC are watching these Whales so they would want to be careful!

In my opinion the whales are running scared and that is why the market is in the doldrums.

ETH whales are also being watched carefully!

https://steemit.com/crypto/@greenlife500eu/bitcoin-whales-and-how-they-control-the-market

it's good to control the whales in order to prevent market manipulation. I would just really like to prefer to see the contorl bodies to be decentralized entities using blockchain either.
