41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Games AS TYPE OF INVESTING on: January 27, 2019, 09:46:37 PM
Hi
Dear community!

How do you think are crypto games good type of investing?
My team is developing new type of crypto collectible game and we want to ASK YOUR ADVICE: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE IN NEW CRYPTO GAME?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Yes, it's profitable and relatively 'safe'. The biggest risk is that the site could close and vanish with all coins. I personally have investments in Crypto-games and Yolodice, and I'm quite happy with the return. Because it's passive!

Here is one interesting article for you, with a lot of information about investing into gambling bankrolls:

42  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending bitcoins on a car. Car depreciate while Bitcoin appreciates. on: January 27, 2019, 09:20:53 PM
U go to buy a car with bitcoins but to find out ur car depreciate in 3 years. While holding onto bitcoins the value of ur bitcoins appreciate. Just a speculation. Taking risk at an extreme. Trading ur bitcoins for a car. Hah . But Bitcoin doesn't always sky rocket in value every 3 years. Or does it.

While Bitcoin may sky rocker or may not, a car is losing value for sure at the moment you take it out of the shop. This is why a car is considered being a liability, instead of being an asset. Also, bitcoin doesn't require insurance, new tires or oil in those 3 years.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exchange fees that no one talks about on: January 24, 2019, 08:43:36 PM
how is it that every one is complaining about bitcoin high fees etc. but they arent talking about the ridiculous exchange withdrawal fees? these fees cost 10$ usd. that is sky high fees. this is tradesatoshi site. other site were charging alot too. u want to send and receive but these exchanges are making more money that the miners. where are you guys going to send and withdrawing your coins? these exchanges charging a dime for the withdrawal fees is not going to drive up adoption. i rather transact with a visa card. imagine buying some kfc and ur sending bitcoins through but get charge 10$ extra because exchange fees. thats bs.

I totally agree with you that those fees are complete bs! And I complied a lot, even stopped using few particular exchanges like Hitbtc having MXM withdraw fee of 0.1 ETH! But most of the times we are forced to use this or that exchange because our token is listed only there and exchanges are speculating to make few extra bucks. But they cannot understand that they are trading those  few extra buck for their reputation!
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 data sites show you the bitcoin trend on: January 24, 2019, 06:29:40 PM
Mostly I'm using Coinmarketcap for some general price researches on popular coins. Then I check the listed exchanges one by one for more accurate price snap shot.

Etherscan is most inaccurate for prices, but it's best for contracts explorer of new coins, because CMC are adding coins only if they have 100K or more daily volume.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 22, 2019, 05:14:07 PM
These two have been topics of debates for quite some time. Some want Anonymity, while others want Regulation. Either of these two will work best for us.
It will get to a time that we just have to choose between Regulations and Anonymity.

In my opinion:
If blockchain  is redesigned without privacy, everything will work fine. Full KYC will make scams impossible.
What is your take on this?

I value my privacy more so I prefer Anonymity.

And how full KYC will make scams impossible? In countries like Hungary and Bulgaria, you can't buy prepaid SIM cards without ID. Do you think this solve the scams with phone scammers? Nope, criminals just hired gypsies to register cards on their names for 10-20 Euros and then everything continue in usual manner. This was just a simple example. In countries like Croatia and Slovenia you could buy a SIM card from every kiosk or gas station without ID or anything for 2-3 Euros and criminal rates are few times lower than Hungary and Bulgaria.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin or Beam? What is the good entry price? on: January 22, 2019, 04:32:47 PM
Hi guys, recently these 2 coins were listed on exchanges and we can finally buy them. But when to buy? A lot of hype, so I think the price is still high, even the market cap is only 1 million USD.
Please tell me your suggestions.

I like Grin more because the coin doesn't have premine and Bitforex just add it. Bitforex have xero fees if you are market maker so it's quite profitable for trade.
Another point ahead for Grin is that the coin is adopted by the forum, leading to immediately hype.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption: Rakuten (Amazon of Japan) to likely introduce BTC as a payment option on: January 21, 2019, 03:55:58 PM
Rakuten, the biggest e-commerce store in Japan is most likely to introduce Bitcoin payments. The company is going through some major corporate restructuring in which their cryptocurrency business is becoming part of their Payments and Settlements business.

Article link: https://blockmanity.com/news/bitcoin/amazon-of-japan-rakuten-likely-to-introduce-bitcoin-payments/

If Rakuten really adopt any crypto, Bitcoin or not, it will be huge. They made some great sponsorship deals with great tennis players in 2018 with intention to enter into EU/US markets.
But every few month I read about rumours of bitcoin adoption from giants like Amazon and Rakuten and at this point no one adopt it for real. So for now this is just in rumours column.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it fair to call it burst of bitcoin bubble. on: January 20, 2019, 01:12:42 PM
I hear in news here and there many persons claiming the burst of bitcoin bubble in the year 2017.  The price of one btc rose to $21 k and then falling to the levels of $5-6 k.
During the year 2018 several people were of the view that the price will again rise and break its previous record motioned above.  The claims were different according to the mindset of the claimants.  Few people claiming btc price will rise to $50k and surprisingly some claiming that it will touch $120 k.
The entire year of 2018 passed.  The price was moving between around 6-7k US dollars.   So the expectations of the people were not met.
I am of the opinion that it was the burst of bubble of people’s greed but  not  of bitcoin  Because greed of the investors increased with very high speed.    With the passage of time the price will increase but the price  to touch the moon dramatically I think will end in the result got during last around one year.
What  you think; is not it lesson to people to control their greed.  Should not our expectations be near to realities?
Please share your view on it.

Bitcoin had more downfalls in '13-'15 and it was pronounced dead over a 1000 times. Burst of the bubble and dead of Bitcoin is only when the price hit 0.

My very last bitcoin is nought on under $300 level. I'm still on plus and meanwhile make enough from trading. So I'm not expecting anything, not calling anything, I'm just doing my job. Everything else is unnecessary loss of energy.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Super speculative investment on: January 20, 2019, 12:56:50 PM
If I wanted to spend a little bit on something very speculative any suggestions? I’m talking boom or bust.

If you want something really speculative, like gambling speculative, you should try few new masternode coins.
With the new MN you could win big or fail big, and the second is more likely to happens.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 3 ETH? on: September 14, 2018, 10:39:16 PM
LOL. If I have 3 ETH, I won't use it for playing the blockchain games...
I will split it into 3 parts:
Hodl; 1.5 ETH.
Trading; 1 ETH and divided it with several altcoins.
Participating in ICOs with the small amount of 0.5 ETH, that's enough for me.

This plan is not good. First of all it is smart to keep and hold the Ethereum, because the price of ETH is about to rise. No need to trade it for any other altcoin and certanly no need to invest in ICO in this market conditions.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: September 14, 2018, 10:31:27 PM
Knowledge is the capital to start everything. Doing something without knowledge it's something fool because you just get some risk.
Yes you're right knowledge is the foundation of anything's in this world if you don't have knowledge your nothing your life become miserable no direction and full of risk.

This is the absolute truth. Knowledge is very important and it is essential in order to build up good future. I believe that if people invest more in their education, then the future will be better.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: September 14, 2018, 10:26:05 PM
I don't think that ICO will end. As long as we have new ideas, we are going to need a way to fund it. ICOs are one of the best way. I believe that ICO will change in the future, but will not end.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin? on: September 13, 2018, 04:08:25 PM
The whole cryopto market is depending on Bitcoin. Most of the times the investors are acting based on Bitcoins movements. Much or less Ethereums price is connected with the price of Bitcoin.
55  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: September 13, 2018, 03:59:54 PM
Cryptocurrency have a positive impact in our world and there is no doubts about that. With the vast usability of the Blcockain technology, a lot of projects have been developed to address issues troubling our societies today and these projects are backed by cryptocurrency. With the development of many projects, there are jobs created for individuals and this also ensure financial satisfaction and finally enhances the economy in general.

Everything you are saying is true, but I believe that the biggest impact crypto will have is not shown yet. Block-chain will be used in many different areas and will really make a difference.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: September 13, 2018, 03:52:05 PM
NEO is one of the very good projects. I believe that NEO will have great future and now is wonderful time to buy and invest in NEO, because this investment will show very good profit.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: September 12, 2018, 02:34:20 PM
I am worry about the future of the crypto, because it is not popular enough, not because the prices are low now. The market will rise again and the prices will be back to what it used to be, but the popularity suffers and this is obstacles on the way.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Altcoin prices often follow Bitcoin price on: September 12, 2018, 02:30:23 PM
Most of the investors are trying to predict the market movements based on Butcoins movement. So when Bitcoin drops a lot of investors are selling altcoins too. When Bitcoin is rising the same investors are expecting altcoins to rise and start buying.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: September 12, 2018, 02:28:05 PM
I don't think that Ethereum will drop that much. I believe that $145 will be the lowest point. But if it pass it, I am 100% sure that will not go under $100. $50 for Ethereum is impossible in my opinion.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: September 11, 2018, 01:32:52 PM
ETH is really one of the most popular coins. But now this project has big problems due to the fact that the fraudulent ICOs brought down the price of the coin.

Actually the price of Ethereum is down for a whole different reason. Not the scam projects are taking it down, but the successful ones. I think that the managers are dumping a lot of Ethereum is order to keep their tokens above water.
