Hi jazz1984, I'm afraid we only support newer GCN cards, so the 7970 is not supported. As for the 470, it seems that the driver might be too old. What OS and driver version are you running? Im using windows 7 64-bit and river adrenaline 18.5.1 when trying to run teamredminer. Next ill try 0.3.7 with 18.6.1 and report here. You know, I just got another report from someone else running windows 7 and having issues. Unfortunately all of our test rigs are running windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04. Do let us know if the 18.6.1 driver behaves any differently though. Also you can try to select just the 470 card with the -d option. Ok, i got it. In my case 470 is -d 1. As i understand with --cn_config 7+7 or 7+8 i will get best result on 470? Yep, you got it. The 7+7 and 7+8 configs are usually best for 4GB cards. 8GB cards can sometimes do well with 8+8. Yesterday run teamredminer 0.3.7 on my 470. The most stable cn_config for me is 4-4, its so low because i think monitor plugged in videocard. I got 670 H/s with 7/64 and 18.6.1 |

Now testing srbminer 1.6.9 on my rx470 4Gb. It has some modded bios (i think for eth) with 1210/1700 clocks. Now i have stable result almost 480 H/s with i55 w16 t1 f4 with consumtion (AB) 50W (powlim -50).
Driver 18.6.1, win 7/64.

At any rate, my 4 cards are consistently doing 460, 420, 420, 460 and using an estimated 54W each (based on Kill-A-Watt monitor, minus the amount used by the system when not mining) and 1200 Core / 1900 Mem and -20% on the power limit, so you are totally kicking my ass in power consumption vs. hashrate. Clearly I have some more tweaking to do but right now I am just happy I got it working stably on v8.
Were you disabling P0-P6 in ODT? You should. Just click each one to grey it out. Also ODT version 0.2.6 is very buggy for me, it has a problem setting core properly so i downgraded to 0.2.5 which works perfectly. What I do is enable "extend official overclock limits" in Afterburner, then from there I only use ODT 0.2.5, you have to do that or you get mem clock setting error in ODT. I also have ODT 0.2.5 installed (not currently using it, however), but I only had P0 and P1 greyed out in my custom CN profile. I'm feeling more adventurous now that things have been running well for a day, but before I start giving myself a migraine I want to clarify a few things you've done: - Run 18.6.1 for less power consumption or 18.5.1 for higher hashrate (marginal differences both).
- Use MSI AB to "extend official overclock limits." Q: are you using MSI AB or ODT to control the fans? I greatly prefer using AB to set a custom fan curve.
- Bump up PL in AB to +5%
- Use ODT 0.2.5 to set highest P state for core/mem clock/voltage, trying 1180MHz/895mV for core and 2000-2100MHz for mem. Q: What about memory voltage?
- Set intensity manually in SRB try 23 to 24 initially. Q: What about worksize? SRB is setting it to 32 automatically (also, double threads true and K auto set to 1).
And that should bring my power consumption down to around 40W per card with a slight boost to hashrate, correct? I just install 18.5.1 instead of 18.6.1 got an increase of about 1 H/s with same settings on my 7970 with srb 1.6.8, unfortunately I have nothing to measure power consumption. |

Just make a couple test for my 1030 (core +200, mem +750). Cryptodredge 0.9.5 cuda 9.1 got 177 H/s on cryptonight v8 with overclock.

How to set different intensity for different gpu's on same rig?
I have 1070 and 1060 3GB, btw which intensity would you recommend?
In .bat file just set intencity for each card -i 20,21,20,21. Try to start with default and then try to increase/decrease and watch to hashrates and stability. Ordinary it is between 19 and 22. |

You can't define fragments there. Do it like this : "gpu_conf" :

Is that what the exact same settings? What numbers were you getting on 168, and now on 169 ? Last stable results on v8 was 470-475 H/s. Driver 18.6.1, win 7 x64, srbminer_1_6_8 intencity 57, worksize 16, no doublethreads. Clocks 1100 core / 1500 memory.
With Srb_1_6_9 with same settings and drivers (only new version of miner) i got 465 H/s. The only i change the value of fragments. 1,2 shows very low hashrates 150-250, and the best for my card is "fragments" :16. |

What is your hash rate for the 7970? What is the clock speed? Last stable results on v8 was 470-475 H/s. Driver 18.6.1, win 7 x64, srbminer_1_6_8 intencity 57, worksize 16, no doublethreads. Clocks 1100 core / 1500 memory. |

Had same problem on tahiti, default as i remember was 41 - max hashrate was on 31 with doublethreads on. What hashrate you got with i 55 on pitcairn? |
