I was looking for Nitro models, but at the beginning of this year there were non in here, and I could only find the Strix of all the customs. Took another 2 months to find another, eh. Everything worked fine before, while I was mining on either NiceHash, ETN with cryptonight, and even XMR on Cryptonote. Even while I still had Ryzen system and GPUs were so close to each other, and the upper card had at least 10 degrees more than the lower GPU. Not sure what's happening lately. I'm also experiencing BSODs, with thread stuck in device driver, or video memory management internal. But again, so random. The last one was after nearly 24hrs of non-stop mining. Sometimes it takes a couple of hours, sometimes minutes… Oh, well.

I have 6 x Vega64 Asus Strix, also I have 1 Nitro Vega 64, there is not difference, maybe ASUS has 3 years warranty and Nitro 2. So I prefer ASUS Smiley I have also a lot of reference model from Sapphire Vega64. All are the same for me, I use the same recipe: Win 10 installed (usually latest version so no need to update), install AMD drivers, install AB, apply PPT, disable ULPS and Crossfire from regedit -> all are hashing with ~1900 h/s 24/7 no matter the vendor.

Now testing srbminer 1.6.9 on my rx470 4Gb. It has some modded bios (i think for eth) with 1210/1700 clocks. Now i have stable result almost 480 H/s with i55 w16 t1 f4 with consumtion (AB) 50W (powlim -50).
Driver 18.6.1, win 7/64.

Hm. very good hashes, i think setup for my 470 must be very similar... but when i use them i got even less then 400 H/s...

Ill try this also and report back, It's just weird how the 4gb cards hash at 1015+ and the 8gb are between 925-975

Hi, I have some questions some of you may be able to answer for me..  (using Strix Vega56s non flashed latest drivers) /w SRB miner.

I was reading thru setting everything up that's all good. Works well but decided to also try out OverdriveNTool (latest version) based on some of the posts I've seen..

Questions:
My first 5 Power states appear to reset I apply them P6/7 get applied.  Is this normal? If not how do I correct that? (I've tried refresh/reload)

Also wondering if these settings take after a restart of the computer, They don't appear to.. at least not fully.

So far my workaround has been to start the computer.. Run Overdrive tool Loading a saved setting. Then use afterburner to manually set some things. Getting 1740H Per card (have 2 cards mining xmr) /w temps 52/55C Powerdraw 470W roughly total system (ryzen cpu mining to) So apparently it's sort of working... but i do have to rerun Overdrive everytime I reboot.. and I do have to use afterburner to adjust.

(Note before using overdrivetool I'd simply undervolt with afterburner by -131  set pl to 70%  Core to 1400 mem to 880 but temps would be 60/69c for the cards and about 150w more system power)

4GB and 8GB dont hash the same. on Monero 8gb is slower on CNheavy is where the 8gb shines like 1100hs+

not exactly, on 8GB sometimes intensity 64 works better then 58 or 71.

What is the best way to disable GPU in conf?
i.e -di in Claymore

for example if you want to use gpu 0,2,4,5 :

Code:
"gpu_conf" :
[
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 50, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 2, "intensity" : 45, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 4, "intensity" : 40, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2},
   { "id" : 5, "intensity" : 55, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2}

Hi.
Please, help me to understand the values of intensity parameter... (I'am trying to get maximum hashrate without HW errors)
In other miners it's calculated from the number of shaders, but there is a results such as 768, 896, etc.. In SRBMiner there is some values between 1-300. How they are correlated with the standart values? For example, intensity of 58 = ??
And what formula I should use for calculations, if I know mem size and number of shaders?

Maybe, someone can share their "intensity" and "worksize" settings for RX560, RX570/580? (interested in normal and heavy/haven algos)

Also, is there any way to get per-card statistics in SRBMiner? Accepted, rejected, HW errors...

Will be gratefull for help.

P.S. Sorry for errors in English - it's not my native language...

Looking at profitability charts something seems wrong, I went on whatomine and it suggested to switch back to ethereum , due to the power/hash combination of cnv8 vs ethhash.

Something is really off becase when i moved my rigs to ethereum from cnv8 my power use went up by 4 amps

that basically an extra amp per rig nearly.  that is around 1000 watts at 240V.

someone needs to correct the power use calculation used by the profit calcs . V8 uses more power than v7 but no where near close to ether as the calcs have it

Well, I just reinstalled Windows. Fresh latest drivers, disabled CF, applied OD settings,... It didn't help. It was running at full for a bit, then the second card dropped to about 1100h/s. I don't know what to do anymore.

Hello,
I need some help,
I have 4 RX 580 nitro + (8go) , 1 hynix , 3 micron . I was mining with SRB at 850h/s each (V8 Xmr)

I did this to increase my hashrate.
- Custom build with SRB Polaris ( I just pressed PIMP my strap then save BIOS and flash)
- then I DDU my old driver and install new one 18.6.1.
- then used atidmkpacher
- I tried the latest version of the miner with 58 intensity double thread for each RX580.

But now I'm mining at 350h/s each...
