Updates on marketing: 1. The foundation members are in touch with several journalists. We will update you when the stories are out. 2. I am planning to run a sizable promotion at http://scforum.info/index.php/board,50.0.htmlThey seem to have a rather robust crypto community. We are in contact with devnullius, the grand moderator over there. 3. Nowadays all buzzing coins run paid marketing efforts via that one or via ThisWeeksCoin: http://thisweekscoin.com/I am tempted to run one at ThisWeeksCoin, but they charge more than what I want to swallow on my own Although I think this would bring us more in the main stream, maybe it will bring us to Cryptsy. 4. Our cryptsy request page has 72 likes right now: https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/74527

So, I had ~100k UFC left in my 1.5.5 wallet and just did the convert to 2.3....all coins gone. Coins mined were from back in October at least, maybe even September. Afraid to even think about the GPL I will loose going from 2.3 to 2.5 Fucking WTF!?
Did you run convert wallet ? You are not going to lose any coins unless you have some coins from btcltc. I need you to look at : http://ufc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block/121See if your UFC addresses are there. This is the block were the coin redistribution was done. I don't know my old wallet address and I can't load the old wallet so how can I search for the address? The address in the converted wallet doesn't show up on that list, so I will assume it's a new address. My coins were all mined and never received from btcltc.com (although I have sent some there and sold a while back). You need to run the older UFC. And you have a backup, right ?

Withdrawal when scifi wallet was offline or wrong chain, came through. Deposit when scifi wallet was offline or wrong chain, came through.
This part is good to know! And make sure you refresh the page for a surprise

Ok, so we are supposedly way past the fork point but I am still seeing on the pool the estimated difficulty change in 800+ blocks. Is this a problem with the pool in how it displays this?
its the pools settings scifi exchange depostit/withdraw working? last time i checked their wallet was offline Scifi-ex daemon has been updated. I have run several small tests last night and this morning. Here is what I found: - Everything works fine with the same code level. Make sure you update. - Deposit works from old to new. - Withdrawal DOES NOT work from new to old. PLEASE TEST SMALL TRANSACTIONS FIRST TO BE SURE.

No offense to Sci-fi exchange but we need to get this coin on an exchange with a higher volume once all the changes take place to really inject some interest in the coin. Check out CryptoRush.in, they have an incredibly dynamic exchange with how they buy/sell coins. They offer 5 levels within one another trade, 3 major and 2 minor. trade for btc, trade for LTC, trade for Doge, and two minors, trade for POTcoin, trade for DGC. The volume is not as great as cryptsy but their total volume is as follows: Total BTC volume: 833.02838632 Total LTC volume: 1,352.98196584 Total DOGE volume: 4,064,177.36054313
Good idea, I have added it to the to do list. But keep in mind that we are a small team and we must do one step at a time. UFO Coin Community To Do ListNew Wallets Mandatory Update Announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=399937.msg5065214#msg5065214No offense taken, but with our focused coin selection and young age, we've processed about 90 BTC

Compiled the new wallet, but...
root@sirius:~/ufo/src# ./ufod getinfo { "version" : 1000000, "protocolversion" : 60001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 1270250.00000000, "blocks" : 33471, "connections" : 1, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 1.13559175, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1389769475, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00010000, "errors" : "" }
Version stays the same? Did dev not bump the version number to make sure?
