41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICO's Dead? on: January 25, 2019, 03:03:27 PM
I think the era of ICO has ended, but there will be another one - the era of STOs. I hope they will reduce (at least partially) the amount of fraudulent projects and other scam attempts on the market. Plus this can lead to mass adoption.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's worst nightmare on: January 25, 2019, 02:55:39 PM
This bear market time is an excellent period for preparation of new technologies and projects. I think Binance and a lot of other successful projects from mid-2017 did start to develop in 2015-16 when the previous recession took place. Let's be strong and keep going forward, guys!
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: January 25, 2019, 02:49:07 PM
You should always be able to control your emotions and take responsibility for your actions on the market. Otherwise it's not the best area for you. Market recessions are always throw out weak money while the price goes down. The less players on the market - the closer reversal point.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO reached hard cap - 50 MILLION- not listed in an exchange - SCAM? on: January 24, 2019, 04:36:40 PM
I have join a project to which it claims that the team was able to collect 50M in USD but until now they could not be able to list the token in an exchange. Their reason was the team were preparing the platform for almost 3 mos. now. I am starting to believe it when they show something great after sponsoring a certain event to which the name of the project was being flashed in the screen. Is it possible that the team is telling the truth? They want to bring a project with demand so that the token will not be undervalued. What do you think of this project scam or not? I could not name the project for now to protect their reputation.

Most probably all their decisions based on the current state of the market. Currently almost any project that's being listed at exchange experiences a huge dump and falls much lower than ICO price. But we should understand that the probability of scam is very high anyway.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first project on: January 24, 2019, 04:32:36 PM
After playing tons of Fortnite and learning some crypto programming, I think I am ready to contribute to the world at age 14. I am interested in working with one person who believes in crypto. Do you need to use crypto in any of your toys? Tell me and I will create coins or tokens for you at no cost. Sorry, I can give it to only 1 person. PM me and enjoy.

Wow you can do this at that age you are amazing you can use this to make money although the market is very competitive, you can still a lot at a young age, keep it up I hope you can create more coins or tokens attributed to your talent, keep it going.

Yeah, it's very promising to have such interests at age 14. It's very good to be here at the beginning of a new market and technologies. I'd like to advice to study more and get rid of wasting time with games and so on. Future will reward you for your aspiration.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy EOS token for investment on: January 24, 2019, 04:26:47 PM
I'm convinced that investing in any TOP-50 project will give a very high ROI, but only when the next bull run begins. EOS is a pretty good platform to invest now, it's not so overhyiped as TRON for example, but still be ready that the market could be dumped down to -50% from current positions.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency has come to stay on: January 22, 2019, 02:31:05 PM
There is no gainsaying that cryptocurrency is one of the strongest investment platform in the digital world.
Despite all the agitations, media attacks, government attacks and attacks from groups and individuals, yet it is still going.
If cryptocurrency will end, it ought to have ended long before now and would not have survive to see year 2019.
One of the strongest points of cryptocurrency, apart from the technology, is the community.
Instead of the community reducing, it is increasing, because more people are becoming aware of cryptocurrency allover the world. Even if some seem to have taken a break, more people are being added.

Well said, dude. I wonder how much money do manipulators spend to mass media to control people's minds about crypto. Most probable it's around a few billions of dollars a year. Perhaps even much more. So lets think why do they do it if crypto should die? Smiley
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any way I can exchange all altcoins for free? on: January 22, 2019, 02:22:37 PM
If you have less than 20$ in any altcoin it's totally meaningless to sell them now. Just forget about it and wait for a bull run - there is a tiny chance, that your alts will be pumped and you'll get some money from it in future.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ⚠ ⚠ CRYPTOPIA EXCHANGE HACKED! -- REALTIME INVESTIGATION THREAD ⚠ ⚠ on: January 22, 2019, 02:13:15 PM
I guess that NZ police doesn't have enough competence in such a crypto hacks so it won't be able to solve this case any time soon. I regret for every user who kept money there. It will be another evidence that we shouldn't keep money anywhere except our cold wallets.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: January 21, 2019, 06:22:22 PM
At the time of the listing after the end of ICO, the price often dumps. Why does it happen?
I think the reason is there is no buyer because of no demand for tokens since the ecosystem is not completed after the ICO.
It may be difficult because lack of funds, but I think the team should release a product like Dapps while running ICO to make token demand.
How do you think about it?

First of all bounty hunters try to dump their coins ASAP. So this is the first reason. And investors know it and try to dump their coins as well. Vicious circle that lead to a huge dump after the listing. Of course there could be some exceptions, but they are very rare especially during the bear market.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: January 21, 2019, 06:17:47 PM
Ive come in contact with few newbies that are confused about which coins to invest in ,well this is for you, be cautious and stay away from coins that have nothing to offer ,I meant if there is no reason creating that coin its mess, but all the same when bull run comes its win win for everybody ,yes everybody, unless dead coins ,even coins that are lower than 1sat goes over 30sat at last bullrun  even crappy projects became profitable ,I have a family friend that all his highest profits canes from the shit coins ,so worryless bullrun won't come anything soon but it will.

I believe that one day shitcoins become useless for speculations so this will be a point of no return for the next bull run. By the way, many people are attracted now to masternode projects with high ROI... It's just another type of scam. If you want to try it, just take a look what happened with many others masternode projects at masternodes.online. They all tends to zero point, as well as the majority of common shitcoins. Be safe with your bitcoins Wink
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 19, 2019, 05:41:21 PM
Time has pass when news or listing pumps price of a coin,it isnt 2013 or even the same climate as 2017. Newer projects are building some serious patforms that take time. News  cant just make a coin pump anymore, neither do exchange listings. Look at coins like Tron etc. being added to a new excahnge everyday. doesnt do anything. Its about results. No point in launching news in crypto environment, Hopefully you guys will join good projects with better future results....2019 is the year

Yeah, as well as almost any positive news or event. It's a bearish market and everybody's main task now is to survive and save deposit. I believe that there will be a lot of possibilities to earn during the next bull run, so just be patient and cold with any kind of risky undertaking now.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: January 18, 2019, 04:27:35 PM
I don't expect a bull run till the next halving. Bakkt will be delayed and the market will drop even lower than the previous bottom. Perhaps many alts are bottomed out in relation to BTC already, but I believe we'll see lower prices in USD in 2019.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchanges the future of 2019? on: January 18, 2019, 03:54:12 PM
Adoption of decentralized exchanges will see an all time high in 2019, cross chain decentralized trading and atomic swaps will start to become the norm Wink

a true decentralized exchange provides many benefits:

  • No need to give up control of your funds
  • Censorship resistant orderbook
  • Impossible to hack
  • No concerns of fake volume and manipulation

This week Binance CEO CZ recommended people store their crypto on reputable exchanges... but what is reputable? If you do not have your private key, well then can you really call it crypto?

What are your thoughts? Will 2019 be the year of DEX?

I hope so. There are a lot of dexes based on bitshares (+ waves dex + forkdelta + others) but the convenience and performance of such solutions is very questionable. Plus all of them are full of shitcoins and there are no really legit and reliable DEX yet.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 18, 2019, 03:16:28 PM
According To expect they always say blockchain can never  be hacked and your information can never be stolen .. But day in day out Hacker are hacking  crypto exchanges to steal people asset , ETH Suspended hard Fork because  of security  reason . HitBTC and Cryptopia are understand maintenance  because of hacker .  Are   they Using block-chain technology  to  deceive Us ?...

Dude, it's all about security. Blockchain is not a centralized thing and you can't just change the password or revert the transaction. Once private key is compromised your money is already not your. In my opinion it takes years to improve security level (especially in peoples minds) to the really high level and this is one of the major milestones for the crypto industry.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC or ForbesCrypto? on: January 18, 2019, 03:08:26 PM
There's also Coingecko https://www.coingecko.com/en and Chainsage https://chainsage.com/

I don't use ForbesCrypto, but sometimes it's useful enough to use coingecko.com to find some particular/new/small cap coins. For example there is a lot of hyip around grin project and it's still absent at CMC in contrast with coingecko.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ICO's a good option? on: January 17, 2019, 06:20:22 PM
is it a good idea to invest in ICO's and what do you think is a good deciding factor to pick what ICO's to invest in?

I think it's totally insane idea to invest in ICO during a bear market. Take a look around and you will notice that almost every single ICO is below the ICO price now. Sometimes doing nothing is the best option Wink
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Constantinople Hard fork to be delayed on: January 17, 2019, 06:11:53 PM
Actually it's a big luck to find out the vulnerability BEFORE the fork, otherwise it would lead to terrible consequences. Ethereum network has become so huge so it's very difficult to predict the stability after any changes.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: January 17, 2019, 06:04:40 PM
Well, some of them are disappointed with personal data revealing because of they understand, that it could lead to data leak. The rest are multi accounts which break the rules of bounty. BTW I hate when bounty manager announces KYC after bounty has already ended, cuz as for me it looks like kinda fraud.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters should remain united on: January 15, 2019, 02:58:16 PM
Unity they say make things possible
After recent attempts to cheat bounty hunters have failed, projects dev will become scared now to try fraudulent acts

Project such as cyberfm, twogap, Desico, deex have learned that fact
Let’s continue this unity, it works

This area is all about money, it is just one big scam IMO. Everybody tries to take money and effort from community, the honesty is very rare trait here on the market of ICO. So I assume that it's better to admit this and keep in mind. Every newcomer who helps to every shitty project should understand that he's involved in kinda of a scam scheme. So the best thing we all can do is to study projects as tight as possible before get in.
