Can I join the signature? I think that this is a good project. I am particularly interested in its ASIC-resistance. Recently, there are threats to some promising coins by the ASIC machines. I described it as the competition between the Farming and Rormad's culture in ancient time. Who will win? The Great Wall in China helped to win for some time until modern weapons were invented.

Do you anybody know where is located main hash power of ipbc network - official pool have about 10M , others small pools have max 500khs and network have about 40-50M ?? Is some other big pool ? or are some big solo miners ??

Network: 50 MH/s (in total); support.ipbc.io: 9.0 MH/s; The second: ipbc.fatpada.club; 0.3 MH/s. So about 40 MH/s most likely comes from the BaiKai machines, which is said to create 20 KH/s by 60W electric power. Manufacturing Baikai is not a problem at all for them. It only depends on how many orders they can receive because this is quick money. With huge investment in machines, it also has high risk once the algo is changed.

this situation ruins all crypto ecosystems... and their decentralisation conditions :-( This big miners group immediately selling off their mined coins to compensate TCO and dumping price .... Its shame, that this great project choose this algo. Maybe neoscrypt, equihash or skein would be a better choice.

I think that invalidate cryptonigh ASIC is not so easy, because than you must change all GPU sw miners code and this is not so easy way... and may it destabilize the network

It is interesting to see that the communities of mining from many individual miners just like those residents in the farming land in ancient time while the ASIC machine miners are similar to those of Nomads. Great wall in China had been only a good defence to win the war between farming and Normad until modern weapons appeared. Now, we may need either a great wall or a more advanced weapon ("modern" algo and soft-miner).

Hi Dev. windows gui/daemon cannot sync. Even did as someone suggested by typing: edollard --add-exclusive-node 77.103.133.157:33030. They still cannot sync.  What's problem? It just stalked.

Same Problem here too.

Do this : Delete this folder c/programdata/edollar then
in a folder where edollard.exe is present.. shift + right click on blank space in the folder and select "open command prompt here" then command prompt will open.... and then type "edollard --add-exclusive-node 77.103.133.157:33030" in that and hit enter

Super, thanks. by this way it works.

If calculating the income from the network hashrate of less than 3 MH, it can obtain nearly £3.5 /per KH at the price of 4 or 5 sats (this is generally around £1 to 1.5 for most coins). So, this disgusting nicehash can get a huge profit by pump and dump. Then. finally the price of this coin will drop to 2 and even 1 sat again. If without any change, in the worst case, these huge cheap coins will lead to the price at 1 sat, but still no one wants to buy. The issue is not the project, but the way that kills the project (at least at this moment it looks a promising project). Maybe, the solution is hard-fork in its early stage and hard-fork back again once it becomes popular.

jesus...cryptoknight.cc is currently finding about 15 blocks a minute...that's a rate of over 400 million coins per day...hope this thing gets sorted out soon or some idiot is going to end up w/ 90% stake in a worthless coin

Yes, it reached more than 30 MH for a while to take a large amount of coins while the network hash is only less than 3 MH. It is really very bad. It can make this coin getting to 1 sat, but no one wants to buy.

Yea we've def concluded is a single guy. I saw some guy (not sure if it's this guy) put 65million on sale at 6 sats for a few min before removing it. He must be pool hoping.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, this is the major issue for this coin.  Large amount of coins can be easily extracted by hiring nicehash for a set of short time once the price of this coin has any tendency to go up for a few sats. People will always do it. You cannot blame these people because they can get the quick profit through pump and dump in a free market

I think that the Dev may really hope that this coin would be extracted by hundreds and thousands of mobiles or other small rigs simultaneously. These small rigs are added together to form a huge hash power. In this case, those hired nicehash or big farm will not dominate the whole network in the hash. Therefore, it makes easy for each small rig to mine some coins. But in the real world, it needs to take very long time to reach this point with very big community in order to spread this coin . This will create the problem; i.e. this makes this coin unable to get rid of the low-price zone; i.e. close to 1 sat because there is always a good profit due to its easy extraction. Once the price slightly goes up to 5 or 6 sats,  nicehash or big farm will come to take this profit, resulting in another round dump. If this repeats again and again, there will be cheap coins everywhere. So Dev need to find a way to solve this problem. This is just my analysis or prediction. It might be wrong. Welcome for a discussion.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins keep popping up? on: March 09, 2018, 09:05:31 PM
Cryptoworld is basically trying to gain more shares from the global's wealth as one type of wealth reservoir. Though people do not like ICO, it is a major route currently shifting wealth from other places into this reservoir. Otherwise, these money will go to either house market, or stock market, or bank saving, etc. Unless more and more blockchain projects can really earn profits by themselves. Unfortunately, even the King of BTC cannot achieve this.

Glad to know this. I think that I trigger this issue for an extensive discussion that has now saved this project with huge potential for a success. The Dev. will finally take an important action tonight. This is super good news for everyone in the community.  We should support this project to get more exchanges through out votes.

Currently with 1,000 H/s, it is 1200 coins. Therefore, it will be 1,200X10,000 coins with 10,000,000 H/S (10 MH/s). So it will be 24,000,000 coins/per day. It will be 240,000,000 coins /for 10 days and it will be 2,400,000,000 coins /for 100 days. It will be 7,200,000,000 coins/ per 300 days. Your total supply is 20,000,000,000. So it will be out within 2 years.

Youre wrong dude.
You forgot XTL spec = Block rewards: (MoneySupply - A) >> 18

Thanks for this. Sorry, we are not technical guy. Could you please explain a bit more about this? What is A? what is >> ? How would they affect the supplying and mining hash power? This will also be good for others to better understand this project.
I think that we need to and are already forming a good community whether it is a direct investor or it is a miner. The bigger the better. This is the base plus technical development for this coin to be successful in future. I can only do a simple calculation; e.g. if it is about 20,000 coins/per minute, it will be 60X24X20,000=28,800,000 coins/per day. This was based on roughly about 20 MH/s hashrate. But, for hot coins, the hashrate could easily go up to 80 - 100 MH/s.  How many coins will be out? I have no idea. It may be controlled by this equation through the increase of difficulty, but we do not know what it means. It is welcome to investigate this from all technical guys. Just feel that it is quite a lot with more than 15,000 coins/per block compared with IPBC 460 coins/per block. If these two projects collaborated, it would be a bright future for both.

No offense to the Devs and the coin . Its is a good young team and i believe in them .They will do good with this coin
But there is two things fake 1. Network hash-rate 2. Price of coin ( whoever is pumping ) is a real amateur Smiley

Pumping? millions have been bought and sold today. It's a pump...but not an amateur. 1.5btc worth of btc spent in past 24 hours with stable price...that's a hell of an amateur.
My 2 cents, pump to 14 sats dump back to 2 sats rinse and repeat

I would definitely be very careful. Somebody is clearly trying to manipulate the price atm. Someone is mining 95% of the entire supply every day alone. It's a real shame considering the coin has a proper development team and a great community. Unfortunitely this has been a problem for almost all young cryptonote project recently.

What are you saying  Cheesy ? i bought some coin yesterday, today, and someone followed me on the other platforms.

So don't make affirmation like that because it's false. I'm not even mining.

What are you even talking about. Everything you said made no sense lol. The combined nethash of XTLs pools is about ~1Mh/s if you add them all. Assuming there are a few other miners solo mining we can say the coin has about a ~2Mh/s nethash worth of proper miners.

There is a single guy putting in 19-20Mh/s into the coin using a private pool. That single guy is getting about 91% of the block rewards daily.

Hence why I am telling people to be careful. The guy could easily inflate the price and dump it on unsuspected buyers.

Fortunately the devs are aware and are considering forking the coin to help the issue.

Fork if it will fix the problem.

I just checked the explorer. Time to find out blocks has been extended after block 63754. And it seems listed old blocks and new blocks. This means that latest number of extracted coins could be averaged by those coins extracted before this new algo. But we do not know how long for this power will last without considering its price and how many coins he can collect in total (not just mining and he could buy it as well). Given another similar coin with a huge ICO money, we have to be careful to see what will happen. Hopefully, he does not have any bad intention.

Dev, if this is true, please reduce your coins as soon as possible.

Cool your jets bro, that's not how any of this works.

Each block that is mined, around 1 per minute, rewards miners with a set amount of coins, around 18500 currently (this is decreasing over time).

If you use 1 hash, or 1 billion hashes, it's always the same reward.

Miners in a pool split the rewards, which helps small miners like me. It averages the reward.

When you see "1kh/s = 1200XTL/day", that's estimating your reward based on your percentage of the total network hashrate, and dividing the number of blocks x average block reward for the day. It's not actually rewarding you per hash.

Keep learning and you'll get a handle on all this stuff, I know it can seem overwhelming. Hey googling "CryptoNote emission curves" and I bet there are sites out there to help you.

Dev said that the number of blocks will be significantly reduced with the increase of depth (not sure how it is related with hash power). If this is true, then it will make sense. It means that it will not extract each block/per minute. It should extract each block/(e.g.per hour) or more time. Then the number of coins will be reduced significantly. If it is this case, it will be right.

This is what I am concerning about. It is about 20,000,000 coins/per day (I might add one more zero on here) with such high mining power. Could someone or Dev check if this number is correct again and again? If this number is correct, I think that Dev may need to check whether the number of coins were corrected to add in your program because it would mean that you might make the same mistake as IPBC did in the first day. I do not know how many years you had planned your coins to be extracted out. According to this number, all coins would be extracted out very soon (within one or two years).
