41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again on: November 30, 2018, 06:41:13 PM
I think that the real bitcoin holders are now doing the same as before. The market is preparing for the arrival of institutional investors. Do not panic now.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open your eyes! on: November 30, 2018, 06:37:34 PM
Don't you feel like once the bitcoin price goes up, the main holders will be the banks and large financial institutions?

I agree with this opinion. Banks have the same bitcoin rights as everyone else. But since all banks in the world will have bitcoin, it will be more difficult to manipulate the price.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2018, 09:19:19 PM
Yes I truly believe in cryptocurrency. We all know that the basic aim of everyone for participating in any investment market is to earn profits and there is nothing wrong in that. But a person should have some realistic goals. You can invest in something blindly and then expect your money to be doubled in a week. You should research and study properly and take every decision wisely.

Many now panic. But there are ways to make money even in a falling market. Need to learn. The problem of many is laziness. They do not want to be trained. But they want to make a lot of money. It does not happen.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was BTC drop caused by manipulation? on: November 28, 2018, 09:14:08 PM
This year there was a lot of negative news. But none of them caused such a strong fall in the market. I think that this time there were manipulations.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is an investment-change my mind on: November 27, 2018, 04:51:40 PM
I constantly here people say " Only invest what you can afford to lose"  Well no matter where your wealth is it could crash.

-Invest in USD- USA could collapse and experience mass inflation making your dollars nearly worthless
-Invest in Bonds- Government could collapse making your bonds worthless
-Invest in real estate- Housing prices could crash, natural disaster could hit and insurance company could go bankrupt
-Invest in metals- prices could crash, asteroid mining could collapse prices

Your money is never 100% safe no matter where it is invested.

Therefore, the main rule of investment is diversification. Do not put all the eggs in one basket. If one asset falls in value, then the other should grow. Thus, the investor will always be in profit.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: November 27, 2018, 04:48:35 PM
Everyone says that in 2019 many institutional investors will enter the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, many people understand the growth prospects of the market and want to buy cryptocurrencies at a low price. When bitcoin reaches 3000 USD - it will be possible to conclude that it is. Otherwise the course will go even lower.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: November 26, 2018, 09:41:05 PM
Everyone on this forum is familiar with Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. So no need to discuss what they are except this; Bitcoin is first or we can say father of digital currency world and Blockchain is new revolution in digital technology world.
Currently market is down after a golden run and every day millions of people came to know about this new market and its uses. Some with negative views and some advocate it.Many country allowed crypto trading and many banned because of speculations and scams. There is lots of media attention about Bitcoin since its evolution and then its price rise. Many called Bitcoin a shit/fraud/scam when first it came into light but within 7-8years it touched $20000 per coin.
On other hand many new Altcoins like ETH, Ripple etc. also gain popularity and boost the need of blockchain in every filed. Now from media news and discussion on many forum I came to conclusion that everyone(Govt. big business houses) wants to adopt Blockchain technology but same time they are either opposing or banning Bitcoin and its uses.So my question is will Bitcoin survive or fall???What will happen if every country launch their own crypto currency using Blockchain technology???Will Bitcoin disappear???Please share your views/opinions and experience.

Cryptocurrencies issued by the government do not pose a threat to bitcoin. Government cryptocurrencies are essentially analogous to national currencies. Bitcoin is more like gold. But more technological cryptocurrencies can shift bitcoin from the first place.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 26, 2018, 09:31:40 PM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh

Many crypto experts predict that bitcoin will reach 8k by the new year. Despite the fact that in the cryptocurrency market such forecasts do not speak about anything, I also tend to this opinion.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: What we can do now other than saying HODL? on: November 24, 2018, 09:23:02 PM
If there is an opportunity to be in HOLD, then this should be done. Bear trend continues and nothing more. If you believe in the fundamental component of the projects in which you are investing and nothing cardinal happened, then you should not panic.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Target Market of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2018, 09:16:35 PM
Kindly enumerate all the target market of Bitcoin.

Many people now loves doing bitcoin because of the advantages of doing so but the fact is many of them are still not aware of what does the Bitcoin do and how does it work. And the list of knowledge about Bitcoin is too small.
Thats why I am asking now, who must be the Target Market of Bitcoin?
Thank you.

Bitcoin's target market is the same people who now use electronic payments. Also here I would add investors and traders. By and large, this is any person who has access to the Internet.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ads on: November 24, 2018, 09:13:40 PM
Why we don't see advertisment about bitcoin technology and the diffrence between it and other payment systems , i know miners and traders who only know they can make money with btc but don't really know what is it or what it can be used for , we need some community driven ads all over the web to tell ppl what really btc and decentralized payments is to get real investors not just bumpers jumpers

I completely agree that we need advertising. But since bitcoin is decentralized, it is not clear who should do this advertising. In addition, I think that bitcoin does not need advertising, in the same way as the Internet as a whole did not need advertising. With the development of blockchain technology, people themselves will understand the value of bitcoin.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a tax on: November 24, 2018, 09:07:58 PM
I would say that bitcoin is an opportunity. And huge opportunities. And those who do not miss these opportunities can become a rich person. Moreover, bitcoin is not an option for lazy people. To understand this market you need to work a lot.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: What we can do now other than saying HODL? on: November 21, 2018, 04:57:29 PM
Since the last week the price of bitcoin and all the crypto currencies were falling too much,me and lot of other normal small scale investor affected very large by this price fall. Many people saying that this current price fall is due to BCH hashrate war so what we can do now to minimize our losses other than saying the words HODLing as a community?

We can do nothing. We can only wait for the market to start growing again. For example, I did not go out of their investments. And if I did not come out in a minus, it means I have not lost anything yet.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main reason for the bearish market today on: November 21, 2018, 04:54:57 PM
I think the main reason for the bearish market today is because of a decision made by SEC.

"We wish to emphasize, however, that market participants must still adhere to our well-established and well-functioning federal securities law framework when dealing with technological innovations, regardless of whether"

Airfox and Paragon will have to settle charges with SEC and moreover, they are required to reimburse ICO investors upon request. This would mean that other ICO projects which violated SEC regulations will have to follow this process. Due to this decision, corrupted ICO project foundations would need to sell their digital assets in order to have money for the fine and requested reimbursements.

As I mentioned on the previous article(https://whaley.it/articles/93/), I still believe there should be more upcoming news that could bring the market down (even below sub 4500 zone)

However, it does not mean the collapse of the market. To become a healthy market, we need to regulate several scam projects(Too many scams out there) and build an infrastructure to protect investors. I think it is one of the preparations for the explosive growth of the market and the involvement of new investors.

I do not think that it was SEC that influenced the market decline. My version is that the growth of a cryptocurrency market is expected by the new year. And large investors want to buy cryptocurrency now at a reduced price. I am sure this is a manipulation.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the Bitcoin price keeps nose diving? on: November 20, 2018, 10:03:39 PM
According to CNBC, federal prosecutors had launched a criminal probe into the cryptocurrencies earlier this year based on suspicions that their price was being manipulated. I think it might be the main reason behind the price of bitcoin dropping to around $4000, but I also wonder whether it could be that authorities are afraid that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are taking over the financial system since they're now so popular.

The cryptocurrency market is not so big as to pose a threat to the global financial system. As for the manipulations, they are. But if we look at the situation in the world as a whole, we will see that the markets are falling. Therefore, the fall of cryptocurrency is predictable.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hate wave? on: November 20, 2018, 10:00:28 PM
If we look at other markets, we see that they, too, began to fall. Not as much as cryptocurrencies, but still. This indicates the mood of investors in general, in the world.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2018, 08:33:49 PM
Interesting question, I know. For me personally the answer is no - I have not ever regretted having gotten into bitcoin, despite having spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the topic.  It's always been an interesting ride.

But I have a friend who got scammed and he regrets having had anything to do with crypto in the first place. It's pretty sad but there's nothing I can do about it. I even offered giving him half of the amount he lost from my own crypto stash (mind you I am not rich) but he's so scared that he's not interested any longer...

So often happens when a person succumbs to hype and does not understand the market. But I think that sooner or later, such people still return to risky investments. This is all because of greed.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: November 16, 2018, 08:46:51 PM
The forces of demands and supplies control the market!  Cryptocoins market is not different from our traditional market and I believe that we can only become understandable if we treat it as such.  This market cannot be controlled by a single person governments and organizations therefore we need to learn the rules of demand and supply and invest along with that.

I agree with this opinion. I just want to add that the cryptocurrency market is more speculative. A person who has on the stock exchange, for example, $1 million, can significantly affect the price of any cryptocurrency. In the stock market, amounts are needed much more
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Interesting USDt chart on: November 16, 2018, 08:39:47 PM
I noticed this a year ago. There is nothing surprising. When the bitcoin falls, it means that everyone is buying USDT. Thus, the demand for USDT rises and its price rises.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets See Massive Sell-Off, Bitcoin Dips Below $5,600 for the First Time 2018 on: November 15, 2018, 08:48:09 PM
I believe that this is a great opportunity to buy cryptocurrencies cheaper. New Year's sale. )) Those who believe in the cryptocurrency market do just that. But I would not be in a hurry to invest very actively now, as it is possible the market will fall even lower.
