41  Other / Serious discussion / Re: A serious discussion of what's funny... or not. How comedy has changed. on: November 29, 2018, 10:12:34 AM
My Question is about my favorite TV show The Office.. would it work today? I feel like the world has got so sensitive regarding all kinds of jokes about so many things.. and that makes me wonder if The Office type of show can exist today without people getting mad about something after every episode. I think people who have watched The Office know what I'm talking about. Are we going too far?
42  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Can speculation destroy Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2018, 10:09:46 AM
The Bitcoin price can, unfortunately, be manipulated with, but I really believe that the speculators and speculations can't destroy it.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: November 29, 2018, 10:06:25 AM
There are thousands of companies accepting crypto as a payment method. So, after investing this would be the 2nd largest way to use crypto.
44  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you live in a Blockchain smart city? on: November 29, 2018, 10:05:26 AM
Of course, that seems amazing. Love smart city idea in a whole.
45  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cryptocurrency mining in mobile phones on: November 29, 2018, 10:03:29 AM
You use the unused phones to mining. Why do you care about virus? You can take it to phone service shop to check it. Or simply download an antivirus app to scan it.

Yes, the same point. If you use them just for mining, then no worries.

Have never tried mining with a phone. Can you do it with your own phone you use daily? Will it slow the phone down too much? Sorry, not really familiar with mobile phone mining.
46  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you think about electric cars? on: November 29, 2018, 10:01:16 AM

47  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing here? on: November 29, 2018, 09:54:39 AM
I'm here to chat, interact and to educate - talk about subjects that are I think important to talk about regarding crypto and blockchain.
48  Other / Off-topic / Re: How comfortable are you speaking in front of large groups of people? on: November 29, 2018, 09:52:35 AM
Feeling nervous is normal in these situations.

For me, it really depends of the topic I need to speak about. If I'm really at home with the subject, then I feel comfortable. But, when there's something that I'm not really sure about, then this can get tricky and some nervousness can definitely kick in.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 29, 2018, 09:50:43 AM

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or STO, what is the difference? Invest in which? on: November 29, 2018, 09:49:38 AM
I have never invested in just this, I just heard about STO because I used to see a lot
of people investing in ICO if I had never seen it at STO.

Yes, STO is a newer thing. Lots of people haven't heard of it.
51  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling 2 books: Crypto for Beginners & Bob the Blocktrain, by Savii Publishing on: November 29, 2018, 09:47:04 AM

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: November 29, 2018, 09:44:37 AM
Well I think supply and demand is the number one reason why those token go flat once released and maybe some of the ico might decide to push the remaining tokens they have into the market for more gain But mostly the good ico tends to recover with time I think when that dip happens is time to go buy

Supply and demand are definitely the key factors here. Dumpers are selling a ton, but there's just not enough buyers and this will drive the price down.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Crypto backed by gold, what else? on: November 29, 2018, 09:32:42 AM
What do you think about coins that are backed by USD? Are they really backed 100%, do the creators have this somewhere stored safely?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or STO, what is the difference? Invest in which? on: November 21, 2018, 10:47:33 AM
Is one better than the other? Is there a difference even?
I mean, should I be looking for one or the other when looking for investment opportunities?
Are you guys looking at them differently?
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: November 21, 2018, 09:29:18 AM
We must remember that just because something happened in the past it doesn't mean it will happen again, even if at the end of the previous years bitcoin has showed a positive behaviour it is likely this year is going to be an exception to that rule because I do not see how bitcoin is going to recover.

Yes, but we can see the patterns. In the past, there have been some big crashes in crypto, now again. But you know what has happened every time after a crash? A comeback and a big one. We all remember last year and the sick bull-run that happened. It's going to happen again. We don't know when, but it will happen. So, it might be a very good time to buy right now when the prices are low. Then you don't need to have FOMO when next bull-run happens.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Story time - your ICO success stories and biggest fails on: November 21, 2018, 09:01:55 AM
How will the current market situation affect ICO space? I imagine not positively? Are you guys getting into ICO's? Some more fail stories might come up times like this. But I'm positive that it will start getting better eventually. It's just a matter of time imo. Actually times like this can be great to get in, as the prices are low and they can't get much lower. Plus, the next bull-run is more enjoyable  Cool
58  Economy / Speculation / People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 20, 2018, 04:00:23 PM
Michael Moro, who is a CEO of a major crypto trading company, talks about how people who bought into Bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 at $1000, are now starting to sell their coins. Is this an indication of massive FUD? Is this the time where we should buy and take advantage of the FUD sellers?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: November 20, 2018, 01:34:30 PM
He knew.. LTC was $341 that day (12th Dec 2017) and as of today it is $33.. closing to the $20 mark

60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Crash 2018: It's History Baby! on: November 20, 2018, 10:31:02 AM
The question is, how long will it take to recover?

The 2013 market crash took years to get back to the point where it was. Will we see a speedier recovery this time or are we here for a looooong loooong ride? I hope not, but history has shown that these big crashes take time to recover from.

But, as you said. It is also an opportunity to get on the train and get your wallets full of assets. But make sure you know that this might be a long-term investment which could easily mean 2-3 years.
