How will be paymnet made to the seller on the marketplace? Will the buyer initiate payment in plex tokens when he buys and till the time the product reaches the buyer, the storeplex will keep custody of those tokens?
The buyer sends the payment to the smart-contract which has control over the funds. If the buyer marks the transaction as successful, the smart-contract automatically sends the funds to the seller. If a problem arises, Storeplex will intervene and distribute the funds appropriately. Is storeplex planning to open a customer support centre for this? I mean handling daily basis disputes and other things? Yes, this feature will be called the resolution centre. Buyers and sellers will be able to communicate before Storeplex intervenes. In the event of a Storeplex intervention, evidence proving/disproving the dispute will be requested from both parties involved. A support member will then arbitrate on the dispute and act according to a very strict set of guidelines which will be fair based on the circumstance at hand. Will this marketplace include second hand goods as well? Users are free to sell new, used, refurbished or spares and repairs goods. |

Because online retail stores, online stores do not have to pay rent, salaries to staff and miscellaneous admin expenses

Low prices and comfort is fine. But i hope storeplex has a system in place to check the background of the sellers. New sellers will be limited on their selling activity until they conduct numerous successful transactions. There’s also a verification system whereby sellers can provide ID and documents to receive a “verified badge” next to their name which gives confidence to potential buyers. |

We believe that a lot of the fraud that is committed on marketplaces, such as eBay and Amazon, is completely avoidable. This is because chargebacks can be initiated from third-parties like PayPal, which will return the funds to a buyer more often than not, which leaves sellers without their item and without their money. We have also implemented a verification system which will visually display next to the seller’s name. This means that Storeplex have verified the seller’s identity and the seller has successfully completed 10 or more transactions. This will help to give reassurance to buyers. |

If they fail to do so, Storeplex will reimburse the buyer and limit the seller’s account until repayment has been made. The debt will be burdened on to Storeplex and not the buyer. Yeah i got the point. But dont you think, storeplex should keep some security amount from the sellers before they are allowed to list their products? This adds unnecessary obstacles for sellers, and some may not be able to afford a security deposit. However, selling limits will be imposed on new accounts to prevent misuse of the marketplace. Yeah that is also true. Anyways if the seller is not willing to pay the freight charges, the buyer may not return it as still the money is with the storeplex and not given to seller. So, i see no issues. We have methods to collect the debt from sellers, so none of this burden will be on the buyers. |

If an entrepreneur is having the luxury of having an online market place, he is already having the advantage of not paying any rent on actual store and now that there is a crypto payment is has become more favourable for the business.

I had a very specific question in mind about your airdrops. Almost 90 percent of the airdrops, they will have less per partcipant reward and higher number of total participants so that they have more followers on social media. But in your case, the reward value was as high as 200 USD to 75 USD and less number of participants. So what was the whole idea behind it?
Our intention was to liquidate the tokens and distribute 1% of them. This helps the ecosystem by enabling exchange trades and activity on the marketplace. |

Also, if you can tell whether buyers and sellers will place orders directly to each other or on the storeplex? The orders are placed on the Storeplex marketplace where they are then despatched/fulfilled by the seller. So, if there is any dispute between the buyers and sellers, how is that going to be resolved? Dispute as in if the buyer is not satisfied with the quality of the product! If a dispute arises, the funds in the smart-contract are sent to an escrow address where Storeplex are able to arbitrate over the issue and disperse funds appropriately. |

This a great project in the sense of a marketplace. I'd like to see it grow to a worldwide store for goods and services to be offered on the blockchain. It would reduce costs and other hassles as well. Way to go team.
The marketplace will be accessible by anyone in any country. Restrictions only appy to illegal items in the buyer's jurisdiction. |

If based on your platform comparison table with an existing marketplace, of course there are more advantages in storeplex. Especially on the costs of storeplex freeing fees such as insertion and processing fees. On the other hand, storeplex certainly requires operational costs, how to solve it while the costs that should be charged to cover operational expenses are already free? Btw, looking at storeplex marketplace, http://marketplace.storeplex.io/index.html it seems not fully working yet right? The marketplace is fully functional, you need MetaMask installed. The instructions on how to use it can be found at the beginning of this thread. And with regards to the operational costs, those will be covered by the 1% processing fee charged on transactions that do not use PLEX (i.e. Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, etc.). The marketplace has not been designed to make a centralised company profit. It has however been designed to raise enough funds to cover the operational costs. |
