41  Other / Off-topic / Re: What tricks do you use to help you sleep? on: February 19, 2015, 05:37:36 AM
If you're like me, sleep time is when all the day's stresses flood your brain and sometimes make it difficult to fall asleep. I've found that counting numbers (1+2 = 3 + 3 = 6 +4 = 10 etc etc) is distracting and has a soothing effect. If that fails, alcohol always helps.

What methods are you guys using?

Alcohol is a slippery slope.  I've had sleep issues most of my life.  Tried the melatonin route, didn't work.  I find having no clock in the room you can look at starts. Limit computer, tv, etc. time before bed.  I usually have a long hot shower before bed.  Make sure you have all the stuff you need done before the shower. (Curtains closed, doors locked, lights in house turned off, etc.)

My gf bought me some lavender sleep spray a while back.  You spray it on your pillows and its supposed to help you relax.  I find it does help.

There is always prescription sleeping pills. I've had really good success in the past with them, but I'm not a fan of taking them.

You know, I actually just read this hole thread and it really made me laugh. If there is a "Service Disruption" or "High Site Load" that causes the site to not load properly the first thing people do is pop up and claim it to be a scam no matter what the problem.

This is not just a problem with this site but may.

I also do not like the unjustified scam allerts.

People are not very patient nowadays.

I would suggest to some of them to practice a litle bit yoga.

Kind regards,
Zorro  Smiley

When it comes to bitcoins can you really blame them?  When it comes to bitcoin there are far too many scams.  QoinPro may not be a scam by definition, but it sure comes off as one.  You may not like scam alerts, but its good to proceed with caution when it comes to anything bitcoin.

At the end of the day don't like them, ignore them.

Have to laugh at how small those payouts are with all those referrals and such.  You'd make much more with far less effort with a signature campaign.  Not sure if any are available these days, but even at .0004 payout, you've made less than 10 cents.  Cheesy

May as well pick change up off the ground.
44  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: January 31, 2015, 12:57:47 AM

who cares?

did you actually get paid by them? if so, how much?

I joined about 6 months ago and I gained over 50 level 1 referrals and still was not close to my first cashout.

Qoinpro is the single biggest waste of web space IMO

Glad they are gone so people dont waste more marketing efforts on that site.

Yes, I've been paid multiple times on a variety of coins. Obviously, they were all very small amounts, but I was paid nonetheless.

So you've been paid out the equivalent of a few cents? Dollars?

Just wondering.

Backstrom

It's a new TV show on FOX.  It's a lot like house but with a crime detective.  Plus, it's filmed in Vancouver Canada.

It's on Thursday Night at 9pm Pacific.

47  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: January 21, 2015, 01:06:23 AM

I can tell you don't have money

You want me to do the equation for you?Do you want a math lesson on subtraction?

Here is what you do,you take your number 180,000 and you subtract that from his number (the number he got for his house in bitcoin)

405,000

you get 225,000
He lost 225,000 dollars,do you not see that as a substantial amount ? Do you not see a problem with this equation? It doesn't make any fucking sense. And you ask me what did he blow?I have got to ask,are you serious?

LOL! You shouldn't assume things.  Yes, I do have money. I actually own my own home.  Well most of it, the bank owns part of it.  Anyways, he hasn't lost anything at this point unless he's sold those coins at a loss.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: January 20, 2015, 09:27:02 AM
he was online today too. But did not comment anywhere. most probably he doesn't give a fuck about perma bears on this forum?

He's too ashamed of his idiotic blunder.

He likely doesn't give a shit. Not like it was the only thing he owned and bitcoin isn't dead.

Besides, why would he bother to comment when most of the people in this thread are here to shit on his decision and are hoping he loses everything?

What part of ALL IN do you not understand?Wow you need to work on your reading skills.

and you need to look at the actual story, fucktard. Try looking past the headline, Google is your friend. The house was inherited.

So because the house was inherited that means what?
I'll tell you what it means,It means he got a home for nothing and blew it on bitcoin.

Once again learn to read. "fucktard" wow what a vast vocabulary you have, tell me,did you drop out of middle schooL?

LOL!  The OP didn't go "ALL IN" was the point.  Also, he blew what exactly? He sold the house for 648 bitcoins roughly. That's worth around $180,000 dollars.

Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015?

Not a chance.  I believe it will go back up, but I don't see it going up all that much.
52  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: January 08, 2015, 06:39:41 AM
This thread spooks me a bit.

I was wondering if there has been any issues with CAD/BTC withdraw?

VOS just shutdown and I'd like another place to trade.  I am not a big fan I will need to give out my banking info but.. w/e I suppose.

(I don't care about stock options at all, no I do not mean to offend I am just not interested in if they are not paying out dividens although it does spell trouble)

WOW!  People were saying they were going to be the new #1 in Canada and take out CaVirtex.  I haven't used them in a while, but when I did, I never had an issue with CaVirtex.  On;y reason I stopped using them is because I stopped doing the trade thing and just decided to hold on and wait for the future.

54  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: January 07, 2015, 09:31:09 AM
The information I provided is on  http://freebitco.in

Click on Stats on the top menu and scroll down to TOP 10 AFFILIATES

It's there for all to see.  Wink

That is proof, if you work hard at it, you will receive passive income from faucets, and you do not even need to solve any captcha !!!

They now paying 700+ Satoshi per hour. It is becoming a good habit to click on them and use them on a daily basis.

No pretense or gimmicks, just a reliable and paying faucet.

Also hosted on a reliable service provider. {I have never seen any down time from them, as with many other faucets out there}

Yeah, when bitcoin is down, I usually pay a little more attention to it. Definitely reliable as well. I remember it going down for a short while when the bottom fell out because of Mt. Gox, but thats about it.

never go full retard, you lose your house and your money good lucks as homeless person.

But yet you just did.  How about reading the story?  This wasn't his only home, it was from inheritance by the looks of it.  OP is just fine. Even at current prices. He would have close to $200,000 Canadian.

Just because this house was inherited doesnt mean that he had a house before the inheritance. Because logically speaking,he wouldn't have lived in that house if he already owned one,I mean why?Because it was bigger or something? Why move into it just to sell it?Doesnt make any sense. I don't know if he is fine that is just assumption,he hasn't replied in quite some time and his latest reply was a bit vague.

This made the news where I live since Alberta is right next door to British Columbia. The property was in his mothers family. His father was also an NHL player for 10 years. I doubt money is an issue. His father also supported the decision.

I am still baffled on how to withdraw coin balances Undecided anyone know?

I haven't heard from them in forever and completely forgot about them until I saw this thread pop up in "Show new replies" LOL!

I just signed in, looks like you need to reach the minimum balance to withdraw.  Looks like the withdraw fee is insane as well.

Bitcoin for example:

Minimum transaction fee:    0.00010000 BTC
Minimum withdrawal:            0.00015500 BTC

I was solo mining on a site and was getting 1 confirmed block for every 10 orphans today (500 orphans today already).. and now the site i was mining is down.

Coin-pool hasn't had a confirmation in weeks! Is this coin dead!?

Where are some working pools?

There are none, the coin has forked ( multiple times imo )

Excuse my ignorance when it comes to coins.  What do you mean by the coin has forked? Coinpool.org is down and I have like 800 coins or so sitting on the site.
60  Economy / Services / Re: Pocket Dice Signature Campaign is back again! on: December 30, 2014, 12:12:19 AM
So I removed my signature last week after I was paid out and they said the campaign was ending.  Today I got an email saying this:

Your signature campaign request was processed

Dear IamCANADIAN013,

Your signature campaign request was declined

Yours,
Pocket Dice team

Now when I go to the Pocket Dice site, under sig campaign my status says declined.  Last time they pulled the campaign that access was blocked out.  Did I remove my sig too early?

My concern is that if they bring the campaign back on a later date I wont be able to rejoin because of my declined status.
