Not likely but if there is any coin that is capable of this feat then it has to be ethereum but even at that, it still looks impossible that any other coin will take over the lead. Just looking at the market value and the price of bitcoin, no other coin even has up to half of it and that is a large gap, it would be hard to any coin to close the gap before they can even talk of beating bitcoin.

If I had one million dollars then I would be investing most of that money into good projects that will bring back a lot of returns. Leaving that money idle and not putting it anywhere you can get money from while constantly taking from it is a sure way to finish all of that money in a short time. It might seem like a lot but once you start spending it without any way to replace the ones which you have spent, then it turns into little very fast.

Sell. Hold. Depends mostly on the coin itself and the people that are behind it. If I see and believe that the team behind a coin are working tirelessly to make sure that a coin does well then I hold and even buy into the project with my own money but if what they are doing is the opposite and they are not serious about making the project better, then I sell and get out while I still can

I do. Altcoins have helped to bring a lot of money into the market and a lot of people have made a lot of money from investing in altcoins, myself included. Altcoins are filling in the gaps that bitcoin could never fill and with each day, more and more interesting projects with different coins come into the market and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of the altcoins.

You should encourage others to join crypto as it will be a good thing for them to join and make profit but when you are encouraging them to join in, do not also forget to tell them about the risks that are involved in cryptos and also the price fluctuations too so it does not take them by surprise. When you encourage someone to join crypto then you are their medium for good news and good advice

People always want to believe in predictions like these as it gives them hope but if we are being realistic this is just more speculation as there is no way for anyone to predict the price of bitcoin no matter how long they have being in bitcoin or understand bitcoin. The consensus did not bring about a price increase but a price decrease which is why believing predictions is not good

I haven't lost anything because I haven't sold anything. The only time that you lose money is when you sell your coins at a low price. But the value of my coins that I am holding have gone down a couple of thousands since the dip in january which is why I am still holding onto my coins, selling during the bear market is not an option and I am looking forward to the next bull

This is a high price to set for ethereum especially for a coin that is struggling to even get to $1000 now. I am not saying that it is not possible, just that it will take a bit of time before eth can get to such a high price and with so many pumps and dumps that are happening, it could take even longer than expected. ethereum is a great coin, let's just be realistic in the precedents we set for it.

Not sure which ICO is best now to invest in. there are just way too many to pick from which makes it hard for someone to pick for themselves and picking for someone else is just risky business. It is your coin and with your bitcoin, if you do not want to end up wasting it, then you should search for ICOs yourself and do your own research about the coin and make your own decision

This is a very helpful write up and would be mostly helpful to newbies who do not know which wallets are the better fit for them and their coins. I personally favor hardware wallets and use Trezor especially for long term holding and only keep the coins which I use for trading and similar online because it is more safe and if I get hacked then only a small portion of my coins is lost.

This is amazing news. I watched an interview with Buterin recently. Dude is on another level. HE's so much ahead of most other people in the crypto world. His voice is really cool too. That guy is so smart. No wonder he created ETH and is best friends with Putin lol. Oh wait that's Trump. hahaha anyways I'm going hard in ETH now because I think it has so much potential.

I don't know for sure if we will have a bull run this year but if we end up having one then it would be an epic one. The amount of exposure that altcoins got just this year alone has been alarming and it would not come as a surprise if the coins end up exploding and doing very well in 2018. Even with the bear market that we have experienced, it has still been a good year for cryptos.

I wouldn't exactly use the word dying, more like suffering as a lot of the coins are now going back into the red with the drop in prices again last week. And with dips they tend to last a lot longer than the recovery periods themselves so we will be seeing red in the market for a while and the altcoins will keep suffering until bitcoin prices pick up again which is not too far away.

The thing is, we do need the weak hands to actually sell off their coins and get out of the market so that when the prices do start to recover, they will recover stronger without the fear of the weak hands starting to sell off and ruining the prices for everyone else. If you know you cannot hold then the market isn't for you and you should not be investing any of your money into the cryptocurrency market.

Mostly all you have to do to know if an ICO is a scam or not is to just do some good old fashioned research. Whatever you uncover from your research is what would help you determine if a project is a scam or not. Mainly if a project does not have a face and the developers in the projects do not have a face then it is most likely a scam and you should steer clear from such projects and ICOs.

Don't do it, you will regret it if you panic sell your coins in a bear market and later on the coins start going up and start mooning. You can maybe decide to trade with your coins so they do not just stay sitting in a wallet and not make you money, so you could increase the value of your coins with trading just make sure that you do not sell them and convert to fiat in a bear market because that would be a big mistake

Not as late as the people that would be getting into the market in a couple of years from now. Matter of fact you are quite early and you should also be happy that you met the market at a good price. What I would advice you is that you should not just jump into investing, make sure you do enough research into the market before you invest in it.

The best altcoins are actually the coins that are in the top ten on the market right now so it is easy to see which coins are the top altcoins. The best out of all of the altcoins is ethereum no doubt. Then there are other coins which follow suite, the likes of litecoins, NEO and electroneum. You should always stick to the top ten coins when you are investing in altcoins.

Maybe sometime this year it will break that although we'd have to go into a bull market which is not likely to happen as bear market are notorious for lasting a couple of years at a time although I'm not sure it will last that long this time, We will just have to wait and see but by the next bull market are expected to surpass even that price and go higher than that

Which projects like litecoin what I and others have noticed is that they just need a little push in the right direction, the project is sound, the developers seems like they know what they are doing and they know what they want. I invested in litecoin sometime ago and I know that the creators have the right idea of the kind of coins that they want to create.
