41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This psychology hack helped me become a profitable trader on: June 24, 2024, 08:34:42 AM
As a trader, it's not good to rely solely on trading as your only source of income. Why? Depending solely on trading puts immense pressure on you to meet monthly bills. The consequence? You may find yourself taking unnecessary and low-quality trades.

However, when you have another or multiple other sources of income alongside trading, you can stay relaxed and have the mental comfort needed to make quality decisions. For example, you can be a trader and be a Bitcoin miner.

Do you have another trading psychology tip to share with me?
I'd support you in everything you said apart from the part where you said one can become a Bitcoin miner. The reason is that individual mining is not profitable anymore unless someone is ultra-rich and can afford to create a mining farm with a lot of mining equipment and for that, they will need to make sure they are getting electricity at a cheap rate so that the coins they might mine shouldn't go in maintenance of the mining farm alone.

You are right about trading having another source of income when they are trading, especially when they are new to it. Someone experienced might be able to become a full-time trader because their mind becomes mature after some point and they can make sane and critical decisions even under a lot of pressure.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does mathematical calculations really work in lotto or is it just guess work? on: June 24, 2024, 05:23:53 AM
Gambling generally is centred on luck and that mean all we do is mere predictions. However it's only in sport betting that we use some of our experience to make quality predictions which might seem as though we are not guessing, and to be honest that what brings the fun from sport betting. But considering Lotto being a game of number prediction, it's obvious it's just guesses and nothing logical there. All those who think they've come to understanding the algorithm by studying and playing for long, they are only deceiving themselves.
Well, even though there are stories of people who managed to win lotteries with mathematical calculations in the past, I don't believe it was all based on calculations, they used to collect a lot of money from a lot of people and use that money to buy tickets and then win the lottery multiple times in a row, but can't that be a coincidence and mere luck? Someone can win back-to-back lotteries if they are buying a bunch of tickets and if they are lucky enough.

Someone who doesn't have enough money to buy a lot of tickets or have any luck would barely be able to win a lottery because the odds are generally very low for someone to win a lottery because there are a lot of tickets sold to millions of people and among them, only a few would get lucky.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: June 23, 2024, 07:21:42 PM
Gambling without proper sources of funds can lead to the worst scenario - huge debts mostly. This usually happens to poor people who think that gambling will make them rich but unfortunately, this even gives them more financial problems.

That is why we should have to understand clearly what gambling is all about because if we think about earning more money, this is not the right place. But if we think if just having fun, then this gives us what we want. Gambling should be taken wisely and even if we are seeking pleasure and making fun but still we need to become responsible. Otherwise, we fall into addiction which is the worst thing to happen.
This is very often to happened in my country that after lost people think if they gamble again then they can able to recover their loses so that's why they start to thinking to loan money because they thought if win they can used those money to pay their debts and i am a witness that my own friend because he wanted to recover his losses from gambling and decided to loan money but the result is he was suffering lost even deep lost and this situation is make him have to sell his car and house to covered his debt from gamble so he almost lost everything in his life

I think we should be throw away the mindset that gamble to earn money because nothing is certain in gamble and indeed sometimes people were experience big won it was very excited but there is no guarante they can repeat it again and while gamble people have to realize this is pure of luck and they should be enjoyed every their gambling activities to avoiding getting addiction
I don't get the type of people who think that if they lose enough then eventually they will start to win because they can't be unlucky so many times in a row that they constantly lose.

I mean it is obvious that we are going to end up with some return eventually, and I think the best way to go with this would be just realizing that we are not going to make as much money as people think we are going to make, even if we lose 100 times in a row, we can lose the 101st one, or if we lose a million times in a row, the next one could still be a loss. This is what I have seen with martingale, people think if they lose 10 in a row at 50%, that's low chance and 11th would be even lower and they must win. Nope, it is still 50% just like any other bet.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 23, 2024, 06:06:24 PM
Talking of the game as training to Portugal, I totally disagree on that, the Turkish team gave in a good fight, just that their greatest undoing was their defensive performance, and I believe that if their defensive performance was better, it wouldn't be that easy for Portugal at all, as the result make it look like.
yeah Türkiye didn't play too bad. they created several opportunities and that proves that Portugal actually also has gaps. unfortunately the Turkish attackers found it difficult to score. Portugal's performance is certainly considered above Turkey's, but looking at the match that took place, Portugal did not underestimate Türkiye.

In their group, Portugal is clearly the favorite. and they will easily become group winners. tough odds for the Czechs and Georgians.
Sometimes you are just unlucky, from all three goals, only one of them was a proper goal that deserved to be applauded, the other two were one own goal and one basically tap in because defense made just one mistake. It happens, it's football and all of them part of it, but in a day that you do not end up screwing yourself over, I see both teams being a lot more equals.

Plus, the one thing I have seen on reddit from Turkish fans is that they hate their manager, because their manager builds squads based on what agents want, I have seen this for over a dozen times so I am inclined to think it must be possible. Arda Guler not playing? Kenan Yildiz not playing? I mean there was something wrong with that team for sure, they made a mistake.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recording gambling activities on: June 23, 2024, 04:36:43 PM
When I make investments, like a few ones I am currently into, or if I add more money to my business, I always keep track of the monthly turnovers. If I am making a budget for my needs and spending every month, I keep records on frequent occasions, but in terms of gambling, I don't keep any records. I can only have a budget to spend $5 today on gambling, but after that, nothing like record-keeping. I can't even remember the exact amount I won in my last spot bet unless I go back to my casino to check for the record there.

I don't actually think that keeping a record of one's gambling activity can help the person be a better gambler.
If you don't keep a record or don't check it, do it once and you will know how much you have gambled in six months or one month, how much money you have lost, and how much money you have won if you have an idea. If you are losing more than you are winning, then you will think about spending your hard-earned money on a different activity or a place where you are not sure that you will ever win. No matter how much money one has, I don't think any person can close their eyes and invest their money somewhere.

Whether circumstances are good or bad, in good conditions, the money spent is not known and there is no regret. Already keep track of your activities so that you can realize how much you have been spending on your activity and whether it has been costly or not.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: June 22, 2024, 08:59:22 PM
Previously it was circulated that Benzema would leave Al Ittihad because the sale option was exercised, Al Ittihad spent very large amount of money but did not get maximum performance from Benzema performance.
Seeing how he is in the Al Ittihad squad, it actually doesn't show that there is good chance of winning the title and perhaps selling Benzema will also be beneficial for the player himself because he also doesn't seem very comfortable playing with Al Ittihad.
It even circulated that Benzema would return to Real Madrid, but this was just rumor and it was not known what Benzema true future would be because all the reports were just rumors.

But going to the SPL and accepting Al Ittihad previous offer was his own decision and in any case he had to accept whatever the team conditions were and complete his contract.
Initially I thought Benzema would be able to perform as brilliantly as Ronaldo, but unfortunately we can only see Benzema best performance while he is playing with Real Madrid.
I feel like Milan did make a mistake, but that doesn't mean that Pioli would never move to SA, we are talking about a nation that is so rich that they could offer him as much as 20-30 million a year if they want to, well technically if they "want to" they could offer even 100 a year, and can afford to, but they are not idiots they won't offer that much.

So if Pioli accepts their offer or not, depends totally on how much they want him, if they really want him, they can make an offer which would be so unreal that Pioli would jump at the chance, imagine offering 30 and Pioli rejecting? That won't happen. So this is all about finding people who want to be there, and if Pioli doesn't want to, then they wouldn't want someone who doesn't want them.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: June 22, 2024, 07:41:51 PM
If, for example, you don't feel like you are experiencing any problems in your life after you are involved in gambling then that means you are not addicted but rather you are gambling just to fill your free time, but if you feel that it is always difficult for you to get through your daily life without being involved in gambling then it is clear that means you are addicted, and if you say that you are not addicted even though you are in that situation then maybe I will say one of the reasons why gambling addiction can occur without the person realizing it.

I think we can't lie to ourselves, even if, for example, we don't feel like we are experiencing a significant impact as we often hear from other people's ideas discussing the bad phase of addiction, but still, at least you will definitely lose money and time over time, even if for example the amount of loss is not too big, and please evaluate yourself, because I am sure that there will definitely be a certain amount of money lost in gambling if you always find it difficult to pass your daily time without being involved in gambling and clearly that is a problem where you should not lose money in any amount if you do not gamble.
Ever since online gambling and money gaming have come, it would not be wrong to say that every other person is addicted to it and online gambling is also the place where you lose thousands and sometimes millions of dollars. At first, you play for fun and enjoyment but when you lose a good amount of money, you play to recover your money and you have to play with the hope that you might win and you wish you could get your money back but unfortunately it doesn't happen.

Millions of people have lost their money in gambling, earlier it used to be that people used to go anywhere to play gambling, but now gambling is at home, everyone has a mobile phone and online gambling is available on their mobile or other electronic devices. That is how they lose every day and when they realize that they have gambled badly, then they regret it.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: June 22, 2024, 06:56:54 PM
When we want to know who is more risky we should consider the situation only within the gambling session and not take into account what happens after the gambling session is over. A poor gambler as well as a rich one can make money the very next day, so in my opinion it makes no sense to take this into account. The risks of any gambler depends only on risk management, the size of the deposit, bet and the rate of return to the player, which means that they are commensurate regardless of financial status.
I would guess that it depends on the moment, if you are rich at that moment then you are rich at that moment, if you are poor then you are poor. If you end up being rich thanks to gambling that doesn't impact your start, neither becoming poor because of gambling impacting the start, those are irrelevant and only results but when you are starting is more important.

All in all, I believe that we should be considering the situation as sensitive and not make anything changing, it is not going to matter too much. We should consider how to get better, and for that the amount of money we have at the start doesn't matter, if we know what we are doing and trying to keep it as just fun thing an entertainment, then we are going to be fine.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Navigating the crypto world for extra income on: June 21, 2024, 07:48:06 PM
Another way to make money with cryptocurrency can be risky for beginners if they don't have a good understanding of crypto. As for crypto, think long term.. Invest what you can afford to lose as always avoid acting on random tips and fomo fear of missing out and do your own research.
By the word ''Another Way", I think you are referring to unusual way of earning. But that's true, however even the common ones, to have at least basic knowledge is still needed. We are only humans, and reactions are normal for us but when it comes to negative things like FOMO, our action is of course going to be negative towards it. Maybe there are only a few things that are worth fomoing and it's not only limited here in cryptos.

You evaluate the fundamentals of the crypto asset you plan to buy and invest in only if you believe in its potential
Yes, because it's also doesn't make any sense to evaluate something that you won't still buy later on. You are only going to waste your time and effort there for nothing. But IDK, maybe for some, it is still helpful to segregate the good from the bad. And this makes things easier for them, to invest.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 21, 2024, 06:29:54 PM
I guess its their parties decision since both of the guys are the most influential name in politics and maybe they still see the relevance of the number of theirs supporters that's the reason their names floats up this upcoming 2024 US election.

But I guess people don't have a choice since both guy is at the top of the chain so I guess they will not waste their vote and cast it to those who they think have higher chance to win and also who can bring another good changes especially that there are lots of issues their country is currently facing. Maybe people don't like Biden to retake his set but Trump should not play cool since there's still a high chance that people's attention will shift that's why he need to do all he can and provide amazing plans or vision on how they could able to lift up their country since for sure lots of people get tired of lots of bullshits happening in their country. For now will listen to the pulse of people and I may also place my bet to Trump since I think for now he has the higher chance to win.
That is the problem with politics, they do not elect the people who would be best choices for the nation, they nominated the people who have the highest potential of getting votes. I mean does ANY democrat even think that Biden is the best candidate to be the president again for another four years?

I think all of them knows that this is only because he has the biggest chance to beat Trump, nobody else has higher chance than Biden, no matter how much they think Biden isn't fit to run, they still support him and vote for him because that's all they have.

Same goes for Trump, surely there are some weird republicans who like him more than any other candidate, but even a moron would know that you can find a better president if you just randomly throw a rock and it hits a random person because that random person would run the nation better than Trump even if their hands were tied behind their back for 4 years. These two, are only there because they have a chance to win it, not because they are the best options.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is the serious use case of crypto to deal with your everyday needs on: June 21, 2024, 05:50:22 PM
Cyber attacks is not only affecting the banking system, even people that are into crypto also victims to cyber attacks.
They are everywhere as long as there is an online website because this is what their name implies (cyber) but usually those who receive an attack are mostly influential people. It doesn't mean that we don't apply security measures anymore because we never know, right? And there are still small groups out there that also attack small individuals.

People who fall for cyber attacks don't have any fear to do things with strangers. If you stay away from strangers in the Internet and have no believe that free money can be earned on line
Of course they do too and I like I said earlier, even if we don't deal with them, we can still get victimized. I think that it's impossible to fully avoid strangers because how can we make a business or a deal then? And I won't judge all of them, as there are still legit strangers out there. There's also free money online or offline and being free doesn't mean that they are now a scam or there is a big catch on them but I think they are only a bit hard to find.
52  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: metaspins casino scammed me with amount more that 180 000 usdt on: June 21, 2024, 04:44:45 PM
500casino approved withdraw only after casino guru accepted complaint. Now casino guru are absolutely unfair site. betsofa.com scammed me with 15000 euro, but casino guru closed complaint.
At this moment only vavada.com and bspin.io make withdraws without dirty unfair tricks. this is 2024 year reality.
Maybe you are the one having a problem with your gameplay since you encountered many issue from different casino which means you are doing something that violates the casino ToS for your own game.

I’m not sure what method you are using but having a lose on casino doesn’t that you are playing fairly since arbitrage bets is still possible even on casino games especially live games while you are using casino bonuses.
Obviously mate, he is the one that is having a problem here and this is why he is here complaining about it but if you mean that he did something that is against the casino rules, I think this is also possible if the casino involved is legit because I don't think they will do those things without a valid reason, as that can only affect their reputation. If we are playing fairly, our chances of winning are only small and that is the reason why some players are trying to cheat the game.

Anyway, I didn't know that arbitrage betting is also possible in casino games. All the time I thought it only happens in sports betting. This can give someone an idea but the risk here is still high, so it's better to not attempt it at all.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: June 21, 2024, 12:15:42 PM
What did you think about the future of dogecoin?
Is it going to do well in the future?
The reason why I'm saying this is because I'm holding dogecoin, did you think I should keep holding it?
Dogecoin is one of those things that people made it bigger than it should have been. I understand that it may feel like it is not going to be easy to fix peoples minds, so we need to at least try to fix dogecoin a bit.

It's a memecoin that has no reason to exist, it doesn't do any good, it doesn't have any innovations, it doesn't have any new features, it's just a shitcoin that was created for joke reasons ten years ago, and for the longest time nobody even cared about it, that is until Elon Musk made it popular. I think that has to be the case point for it, because after he left, it didn't get any good attention neither. If we are going to keep it tracking like that, then I do not think that we should invest our money into it at all.
54  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: June 20, 2024, 08:19:35 AM
Roulette and Dice game concepts are completely different. The 0 is a special payout number on the roulette game. But you will loss your bet if you roll the number 50.00 on 1.98× payout (50% win chance) in the dice game. This is because of the difference of house edge concept of both games.

BTW, I had participated in some freeroll poker tournaments of Stake until now. And I have managed to win prizes from only one tournament, I had ended with 83rd rank and received $1.5 as reward.
I don't see any difference. In Roulette, you choose Black or Red, Odd or Even... and in Dice, you choose above 50 or below 50, they are both 50-50 choices.
Black or red (odd or even) is a 47.4 chance of winning a 2x bet. On dice you also don't get 2x for betting over/under 50, 2.0x pays if you bet over/over 50.50.  The win chance for this is supposedly 49.5%. In reality it should be but we all know stake.  Cool

So you have a chance of 47.4% at roulette vs a 49.5% at dice to win a 2x bet, that's a 2% difference in house edge which in the long run is HUGE.
That would be pretty hard to explain to the people, because I have seen people say "you have a 50% chance to win at blackjack, either you have a better hand than the dealer or you don't" and they think that is 50%. I love the tv show "young Sheldon" because it explains possibility and probability.

The difference is that I can go to my house today and find a million dollars or not, that doesn't make it 50-50% possibility of it, we all know that when explained this well and that tv show did it so well. However, there are still people out there who do not understand it that well, some do and still choose to ignore it and I respect those people because they made a decision, but some have no clue how any of this works at all.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling winnings should NOT be taxed on: June 20, 2024, 02:49:10 AM
Paying taxes on winnings is 1 thing, but here in the USA they fuck ya 6 ways from Sunday. Let's say you go to a casino and play slots. You put $1000 into a machine and hit a bonus, the tax threshold is $1200. On your bonus you win $1201 total. You are taxed for the whole $1201, not $201 of profit. Same goes if you put $5000 in a machine and win $1200, you're down $3800 and still paying taxes.

It's all a joke.
Lol, that must be a joke, they should be taxing profits only and not the whole amount, that's like earning money first, getting taxed on the income, and then when you use the income for gambling, get taxed on it again along with the profits that you earn, that doesn't make any sense.

I have heard that in countries where gambling is a legal thing, they tax gambling profits, but I have never heard that even your initial deposit gets taxed, this is insane Grin.

In my country, gambling isn't legal, so there are no casino establishments but there are online platforms that people use for gambling purposes but I don't think they declare their winnings.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are people still participating in Bounties here? on: June 19, 2024, 06:03:52 PM
There are still bounties in the forum but you will get participants like the two replies above mine, who are cheaters that use multiple accounts and spamming threads with low quality comments. There are better ways to distribute new tokens these days, that’s why we don’t see many good bounties on Bitcointalk anymore.

You can be a bounty manager at any rank but there are serial scammers who create new accounts and then disappear without paying, so many people will not trust a manager with newbie or low rank.
Even before they are already there and we can expect more of them now because cryptos are getting hotter than ever. It does not mean that we will only let them do their plans but we will also try our best to stop them. Not that I'm biased but I'd say bounties are still among those better ways to distribute a token because we can ensure that the people who got it have did their best to do their designated tasks.

A good project should not ignore this forum and its marketing schemes like bounty campaigns because it can surely help them to get the best exposure that they've always wanted. If the bounty manager is a newbie, then they must show enough proof that they are credible for this job, so that people are going to trust them.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: June 19, 2024, 05:31:05 PM
How can Al Nassr improve their performance if Al Nassr sells one of its mainstay players, Sadio Mane is one of Al Nassr's mainstay players besides Cristiano Ronaldo. If the club releases this player then Al Nassr's attack line will decline and they will have difficulty competing with Al Hilal in the next season's title race front. Even though Al Nassr's attack line itself already has a good attack line, so they have to retain these players so that it doesn't affect the club's performance next season. Relying on one star player is not enough to perform optimally. Ronaldo also needs partners who the club can also rely on.

So far, Sadio Mane has helped Ronaldo a lot and Al Nassr has also replaced Ronaldo's role when this player is needed. For me, it is better for Al Nassr to sell players who are not really needed, especially the defenders they have, Al Nassr has defenders who are not performing well and they They have to overhaul their back line so that their defense can be strong this season. Al Nassr failed to win any title. I think one of the reasons is because they have a defense that is not as strong as Al Hilal. They have to have a strong defense and a productive attack line to be able to compete with Al Hilal.
To be fair, Mane did not play as well as they hoped he would, Mane hasn't been himself for a while to be fair. Last year at Liverpool wasn't good, his season at Bayern wasn't good, and everyone thought "well he is not good enough for that level anymore" and that is why he went to Saudi league, but he wasn't that great at Saudi League neither.

Sure better than many players there, but when you are paid as much as he is paid, people expect a Ronaldo level of contribution to the team. So Al Nassr may keep him, but if they decide to send him away, then it would mean that he would just be sold for salary purposes, they want to get rid of his salary, and use that salary for a player that could help them a lot more, which makes sense to me.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P trade advise on: June 19, 2024, 12:05:03 PM
As others have said, it's easy to do P2P using Binance, you just have to be careful who you dealing with, maybe they are scammers so take every precautions like look at the history of their trades and just don't released your crypto unless it's in your wallet.

For the banks, it might be complicated though, not sure how banks are in your country are or how they are friendly. Perhaps the best thing is just open a regular bank and don't tell that you are a crypto trading or you deal with crypto. And if ever you do P2P then just withdraw the money in fiat and then deposit it in the bank.
I have been and still am a P2P trader so I would like to tell you about the risks and problems I have faced while doing P2P, which means peer-to-peer. So, first things first, you should never make or take third-party payments. The second most important thing is that don't try to get more profit. People take this lightly but in reality, it is a big mistake, people run black money and cheat traders. They send money to your account through a third party and then when your account gets disputed, you realize it was a fraud payment.

When you trade with someone, take their identification document and mobile number, because when you are cheated like this, exchanges will not support you even if you took a third-party payment.

In the country I belong to, trading is not allowed and P2P is illegal, banks do not support it at all, so to avoid all these situations, it is very important that you trade carefully and the person you trade with. Try to ensure that he is a verified trader. If not verified, you must have his details, such as his mobile number and his identification document, so that in the future, if you settle in a case or if black money is involved, you have some proof that this person paid me.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: June 18, 2024, 07:01:05 PM
Trash coins are part of crypto insutry and they'll keep launching and available in crypto industry.
This is right. That's why a lot of altcoins are popping up and obviously, this is to gather money from investors/traders who are also want quick money. And, I think choosing the best altcoin to invest in is hard if there is no knowledge on how to check if they are legit or not.

Something promising altcoins would be on the CMC top 50 and most of them have potential and their value would increase much in the future.
The fact that most new investors are always looking for quick profits makes meme coin and shit coin creators more confident in creating and running their scams because they know that all they need to do is to do some marketing and people will start investing in them if they make some fake promises of high returns and great potential profits because newbie investors are mostly looking for high profits for low investments and they jump in when they find an opportunity.

So people need to understand that they aren't going to get a lot of money from every cryptocurrency they see in the industry, especially when those projects and their creators are making fake promises that investors will get a lot of profit because they can't know what will happen and they are just luring them to make investments.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Bitcoin look like in the future? on: June 18, 2024, 06:18:05 PM
Although the government are plotting how they can regulate Bitcoin, but I don't think they archive it, and since they cannot archive it, they will end up regulating Bitcoin users and the platforms that facilitate the use of Bitcoin for some people in other parts of the world. The centralized exchange is being regulated, and they compel customers to do KYC verification, which is a means by which they can identify any Bitcoin users and their transactions if they need to. So, the government can only regulate exchanges and tell Bitcoin users that they know their identities, but it cannot fully control the block chain.

In the future, the price of Bitcoin will continue to grow, and people will continue to buy and store Bitcoin because it's a store of value. More businesses will also start accepting Bitcoin as a payment method.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are still banned in many countries like our country but I feel that shortly given the increasing importance and utility of Bitcoin the government will have to legalize it not only legalize it but it will also be an effective step for the development of the countries if Bitcoin is traded and used in various things at the government level.

I see a lot of people looking at Bitcoin not only for trading but also as a future investment and people's confidence in Bitcoin is increasing day by day. Bitcoin is developing day by day and its fans are increasing in such a situation if the governments remove the ban on it, people's businesses will increase and the country's economy will get more support.
