Your site is down at the moment showing CPU Limit Reached !!!

Try moving to http://besthostfree.com free hosting. They are far better than 000webhost IMO.

I am not sure what I have done do have or would have any significance in the vast landscape of Bitcoin adoption. Here is my effort in brief...

Quote
I used to do webhosting on a service called http://BestHostFree.com for quiet a long time. They are Germany based hosting, decent support and less popular. I recently asked their support whether they will accept Bitcoin. They said they are "looking into it".

I'll be requesting if people can sign up with their free hosting and raise support ticket for Bitcoin payment for paid hosting.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There should be a symbol for coampanies really adopting bitcoing (no bitpay) on: March 16, 2014, 05:50:28 PM
Hi,

everyday we hear of new companies adopting bitcoin.

But in my opinion they are not really adopting bitcoin but accepting payment through bitcoin which inmediately is exchanged into fiat money.

There should be a symbol for real adopters of bitcoin to show so we know they are not using bitpay (or similar) and are keeping the bitcoins and making business with them.

What I mean is that bitcoin should really be adopted and not pretend they are adopting it when it is not really the case.

What do you think?
Looks like we're on the same page. I also agree we need companies that take Bitcoin without a payment processor.

We accept BTC directly, without a payment processor - http://re.2et.in

Done... by the way, how is their free hosting service ?

They provide kind of a decent service.... but paid is better than the free of course Smiley

Is the criteria on number of followers mentioned anywhere?

Yep... in the home page it is mentioned You need to have a minimum of 10 followers to join the system.

When u are in the system on add_tweet.php page, it will ask for the minimum no. of followers requirement u want to assign to the message. Below that no. none will be able to retweet that message and thereby barred from gaining credit from you.

Well, as I said, I have just integrated the Bitcoin system to this app. I can show you that the credit system works. But unless u use it, there is no way I can prove that the Bitcoin system works too !!!

Hello everyone, here I am going to talk about a project that I have developed in last few months. This is not an announcement and rather a friendly discussion from where I would like to get your suggestions for betterment.

I am sure most of you use Twitter and some of you have heard of a website called SponsoredTweets.com, the leading website in twitter advertising. There you may post your tweet and add a price for each retweet. Those who retweet your tweets, earn that amount. This whole system works on FIAT.

So, I just tried to re-engineer a similar system on Bitcoin. The output is re.2et.in, a Domain Hack of the word retweeting. In this system you may do the following operations...

1. Browse Tweet - Browsing other's tweets which are awaiting to be retweeted. This will earn you credit.

2. Add Tweet - Add your tweet which others will retweet. This will spend your credits. You may filter out people according to their follower base.

3. My Tweet - List of your tweets with associated credit points and stats of how many times they have been retweeted and by whom.

4. Buy Credit - Rather than retweeting others, you may buy credits directly using Bitcoin.

5. Sell Credit - Once your credit balance reaches a certain threshold, you may sell your credits to convert them into Bitcoin.

Once did the skeleton made up, I did a little promotion on twitter and hence some people have already joined. I wish, I'll get the Bitcoin community by my side. Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Pretty nifty.
would be a better tool if you can get a better UI in place. It does look a wee bit 'wordpad'.
Would also be cool if you could do the payouts based on followers of the twitter profile rather than any ID. This would allow your system to be gamed for sure.

Thank you for your response. I understand the concern of gaming the system. But if you go deep, you'll find it can not be gamed that way. Because, the message owner, who is going to spend his credits will filter out low follower profiles. Otherwise he'll be losing his credits to IDs with less follower base. This is how the low follower base people wont actually get much tweets for retweeting and the system will be saved from gaming.

I guess it is clear now... Smiley

Have anyone got time to try out this site ?
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Bitcoins by Retweeting - re.2et.in on: February 09, 2014, 07:03:06 AM
Anyone got paid for this yet? If so please provide links
Yeah, did he pay it? If it's legit, great site.

Thank you for raising the question and checking the site. Let me clarify that this site is running for a while, but there were no Bitcoin integration to it. You can still try out and use this site without bothering about Bitcoin as it is free to join and fundamentally a credit based tweet exchange site. When I thought about payment, I preferred to use Bitcoin rather than traditional FIAT as I am dealing with virtual credit which has a dangerous problem of chargeback. That is when I integrated this Bitcoin earning option as well, because when someone buys credit with  Bitcoin, I have no problem in selling them for the same. But, as it is just integrated, neither anyone have spent Bitcoin nor anyone have reached the credit threshold to earn Bitcoin. In the mean time, I urge everyone to join the system and take advantage of twitter to promote message using the system.

58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone explain terminology to me? on: February 04, 2014, 03:51:37 PM
Hey,

I've started mining altcoin, but all the terminology on pool websites is confusing. For example, what does PPLNS mean? If someone could explain all the terms I know that would help me and a lot of beginners out.

Thanks!

PPLNS = Pay per last N shares
