Respect to post, how to insert a picture on replying topic and what is the bitcoin address required to use. your reply will be appreciated. Thanks

In order to reply with a picture you first need to upload your picture on a image hosting website like https://imgur.com/upload then you'll need to get the bbcode for forums, for this you'll need to move your cursor over the drop down arrow (top right of the image you just uploaded) and click on "Get share links". Copy the bbcode link and paste it in your reply.

As for the bitcoin address, you'll need to provide a bitcoin address where theymos would send you the prize if you win the contest, as you can see in OP (opening post).
Post original bitcointalk.org art in this thread along with a Bitcoin address. Any art you post must be created by you. It should be related to bitcointalk.org, but need not be related specifically to its 10th anniversary.
43  Other / Meta / Re: Merit on: October 28, 2019, 03:37:48 AM
I don't care if it's not allowed here but suck that merit system. It's very hard to earn especially to those commoners unlike those people that has friends here on this forum who are on higher rank here are the only eligible to earn merit.

Also there are many users here that uses multiple accounts but they don't even ban them. Suck this kind of management.

Well getting merit points is easier for some and harder for others. I am not a fan of the merit system (because is far from perfect), but since I like the simplicity of the forum and there is a lot of things you can learn in here from the more experienced users, I decided to stay and accept it as it is. If you can't accept the conditions of this forum, there is no point for you to stay, there are plenty of crypto related forums out there where there are less restrictions. I am not saying this because I want you to leave the forum, but (like I always do) if a place/person/thing doesn't make me happy, I just leave/break up/change it. Peace!

What am I missing? This 220% spike isn't looking healthy. Maybe I am wrong...

Thanks for this wonderful topic @LoyceV! It will be useful for beginners. I have many friends who are victims of this.
I translated this topic into Turkish.

Dikkat: CTRL-C CTRL-V ile Coinlerinizi Nasıl Kaybedersiniz?

This is actually a good idea.
If this is allowed and of course, @LoyceV is OK with it, I can translate it too for the Romanian sub-forum.

Caz real,no bullshit,no joke.
Las-o naibii ...
Isi merita raspunsurile din plin,RESEARCH FIRST,ONLY after that, open your bloody mouth.
"VOM MAI VORBIM"  Wink
O zi minunata!

Hello mate! Some other users came up with this idea before:
@LoyceV - mosaic of users avatars, same background: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193860.msg52811642#msg52811642
@s2break - mosaic of 1500 coin logos, different background: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193860.msg52824324#msg52824324
Sorry for the bad news, but I thought is fair to let you know about it and maybe you'll come up with something else, preferably unique so your entry would have grater chances in the contest.

I moved over to BISpool and my stats showed up poolside right away, thanks for taking the time to help out. It may have something to do with the linux distro I am using and the other pool that was not registering my worker.
Good yo hear that you managed to find a pool that fits your OS. Enjoy your mining!
If you have any issue don't hesitate to join Discord #mining section and ask for help.
P.S. Don't forget that now you can dump the coins mined on Hubi.com too https://www.hubi.com/#/exchange/bis_btc  Tongue

no dump, pump needed  Grin
thanks for reminder about Hubi, i still was on graviex
someone sold here small amount and price dropped to 890 sats

That's why I've said that, as a reminder, now the market is added to OP also. As for the dump, is ok because miners needs to cover their expenses.

Some info I want to let you know.  Wink

1. Hubi's $BIS trading volume has been added to coinmarketcap.
2. Hubi's trading competition has ended and all traders should have received their shares.

Thanks for the reminder @bit-signal Smiley

Any pool recommendations from people who are still mining? I tried EggPool for about thirty minutes with the latest miner and I am not seeing any stats or hash rate registered from my miner in the pool. Maybe I need to wait longer?

Eggpool is working fine, what is your hashrate?

Just testing with one card at 365 mh/s miner side and 0 pool side, I figure I will give it an hour or two then try another pool and miner to see if I can get it to register pool side. Looks like each pool has their own miner which is different.

I've found out that for 5GH/s you'll get aprox 1 share every 10 min (Discord dedicated Egg's mining pool)  but even this was estimated on a different diff, we can make a parity and with your hashrate you'll get on average 1 share every 2h. But for more details you can join Discord's discussions about this, you'll get faster replies there.

Hey guys, just wanna let you know that Altmarkets.io is offering a discounted price (0.01-0.02BTC) for listing projects that suffered from Novaexchange closure.
In case you are looking for new markets.

Wow 0.01-0.02 BTC is a very good deal for an exchange listing (even a small one), let's hope the devs will consider it. But seeing that no one from the team said anything until now, makes me wonder..

Anyway I am keeping an eye close to this thread.

We already have 4 exchanges :-)
If we were to add a new one, it should be at least medium sized, IMHO

I know Smiley but for $170 any exchange is a plus for the project imo.
I also agree that a new exchange should be at least a medium in volume, but this will cost you guys more, a lot more Tongue

I am using Brave as my default browser since 2 months now, what I like is that I see no ads on youtube because I am watching a lot of videos crypto related and not only and no more ads on websites I visit which is amazing.

In regards of earning BAT with their advertising system for me isn't working that well, maybe is country related or something like this because I managed to view only 2 ads this month even I have the ads reward activated with 5 ads/hour.

crex is one of the biggest pumped exchanges there is maybe not their self but still highly pumped

1 zumcoin  pumped $306,047
2 thorenext  pumped $154,154
3 thoreCoin  pumped $146,466
4 soverain  pumped $136,312
5 newyork Exchange  pumped $260,304
6 cryptoverification  pumped $112,646
7 titan coin  pumped $107,340
8 sport and leisure  pumped $90,346
9 nasdacoin  pumped $71,411
10 streamit coin  pumped $70,155

just in the top 10 coins there is $1,455,181 and most of that is fake volume along with other coins
they have $2,163,740 volume and is only $300,000 real volume at max so unless you are a troll, delusional or from crex then stop talking shit
i dont think there is any need for shitty crex and there are a lot better exchanges even graviex that has 50% of users crex has but only $100,000 volume as it is real volume but why not put you hand in your own pocket if you are so involved in wanting crex lol
do you even read their articles lol would seem not

Please let us know the source of the pumps on crex24, so we can notify Coinpaprika about it or better notify them yourself.

"...unless you are a troll, delusional or from crex then stop talking shit" I've posted Coinpaprika's link, so is not something I invented like you Wink

Anyway good bye Shard thread, as I can see this is pure shilling thread from newbies, probably paid accounts or alts of the team members, the same team that have "...no interest in us funding to get listed on any other exchange at this time just to allow people to dump."

I found out that apart from @eztia (team) the only other users posting in here are:
-@jojosmith783532 - with 111/140 posts in Shard thread probably an alt account or paid user.
-@jamescorden - with 5/5 posts in Shard thread is probably an alt account or paid user.
-@vanchain - with 67/88 posts in Shard thread is probably an alt account or paid user.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V on: October 25, 2019, 03:45:20 AM
I wonder if there is a possibility to exist even a malware that change the address "pasted" right before sending the TX (0.1 sec before you click "SEND" button).
In addition to NeuroticFish's good suggestion above regarding Electrum, this would also be prevented by using a hardware wallet (and not just for bitcoin, but for all coins). Even if the malware changed your "send to" address just as you clicked "send", you would still have the opportunity to check the address on the hardware wallet's screen, and cancel the transaction if the address was different.

Thanks for the tip, actually I am using Ledger Nano S (with a low amount of BTC), but since I like old school things I am using Bitcoin core wallet just because I trust it more than 3rd party apps, like Ledger's app, Electrum, etc.

Maybe I am just a bit paranoid with this things, sorry Cheesy

Smiley

5.N-are nimeni nimic cu tine.

Bafta!
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SHARD - Scalable POS Blockchain with Staking Exchange & Multi-Coin Wallet on: October 25, 2019, 03:23:59 AM

The community were offered a listing on Crex over a month ago and very few wanted to get listed on it. Shard unlike Shardax is a none funded open source project and the team has already spent thousands of their own money regarding many aspects of Shard, there is no interest in us funding to get listed on any other exchange at this time just to allow people to dump.

What you are wanting is marketing and new exchange listings that cost hundreds of thousands without helping and that are none beneficial at this time.

Actually Crex is one of the best exchanges out there https://liquidity.coinpaprika.com/ with a simple UI and running very smooth. But for the majority that is looking only at the fake volume of exchanges is not good enough..

As for:
- "there is no interest in us funding to get listed on any other exchange at this time just to allow people to dump." I hear you, but you don't allow people to buy neither and the price is already at the floor.
- "listings that cost hundreds of thousands" I didn't asked for binance, I asked for an exchange, there are exchanges that asks as low as 0.2 BTC like Graviex or 0.25 BTC like Yobit.

Good luck with this approach, you'll need a lot.
