I don't think so, it is not Ivo's fault that btx is going to nowhere, he was the most responsive and communicative member and it did looks like he was the only one person that deliver something. Better do something that will reanimate this almost dead coin instead of blaming. I do not say this. You misunderstand my words. Ivo rekt us for the BTXM case but I agree partially with you, Ivo did not succeed to make something of Bitcore and as it is a community-driven project, we are all responsible including him. I do not know your responsability in the Bitcore Team but you shiuld know that I am a member of Bitcore Team who develops the first stone of the self-governance system and I am also the community manager. Then I can return you the advise as it is worth nothing to me and then to yiu ;P |

BTXM is not related to bitcore lie! BTXM always was one of the main Bitcore projects. BTXM was in bitcore roadmap in the first days of bitcore and in the past roadmap too(changed a few days ago I think).but in the new one they completely deleted. they post hundreds of pic and post here about BTXM and they said it will be game changer!!!!! No; He is right. Ivo is an external party who proposed to integrate his project to the Bitcore project. The Bitcore team supported him and both parties invested money to realize his project. Bitcore team trully believed that BTXM will be the pivot of Bitcore project... BUT Ivo left the team in October 2018 and now, Ivo is still developing his project who got a lot of audience without integrating Bitcore. Ivo rekt everybody in this story -_-. |

i removed peers.dat file and it worked fine after that
and do i have to change my address , or i can continue using old address that starts with 1
and where can i see my added address in wallet
Perfect. You have nothing to do. Your wallet is equivalent to a private key that is totally different from the 1xxx address which is used to receive funds. Your coins are associated with the private key. ^^ However, if you want to know your new address in 2xxx you can do: "File -> Receiving address" And you will know your new 2xxx address. |

its still get stuck at connecting peers
also i dont have any firewall , just avast antivirus have disable it still same results
had anything changed because it shows last synchronized 30 weeks back
just checked windows defender is turned off
would uninstalling it and installing it again help
Then, the first solution I can see is to remove peers.dat in the folder of the Bitcore wallet. Or to do a wallet repairs. But try the first ^^ |

today when i tried to update it , it did not move after connect to move
i dont know so what to do because my btx is stored in it with old address that starts with 1
Hi Sestina. Download the last Qt wallet from the official website. Then, you just need to click on the .exe installer. When you installed your old wallet, did you use the default parameters? If yes, the new wallet will recognize the wallet.dat in the previous used folder. Then, you will have a new wallet with new address format and what you have in your wallet previously will be displayed as usual.  If you have issues to synchronize, it may be caused by a firewall, Windows Defender (if you are Windows user) or an anti-virus. where would i find these links on site i am unable to find link for windows desktop wallet i would again have a look You can find all the ressources related to Bitcore. You have section called "Choose You Bitcore Wallets" Click on the first sticker "Bitcore". It will display a text and at the bottom, you will find "Win QT" referring to the QT Bitcore wallet for Windows. |

If sure you do not trust HitBTC, you will have difficulties to buy and to sell.
My opinion is HitBTC works well and all the exchanges have issues and then people that complain about the quality of services.
HitBTC is working. I got no issue for 6 months. That's all I can say.

And any BTX pair liquidity is absent at all current exchanges. 3 BTC in order book looks like a joke First, you are used to speak like this, but it is not gentle ^^'. Second, I did not say you are wrong. I have just extended the point. Third, why do you think 3 BTC of in order books is a joke? 3 BTC represents 30,000 BTX in the order book. I must rectify also what I said, it is 31 BTC according the best market depth I could reach. Fourthly, yes, according to this definition: "Liquidity describes the degree to which an asset or security can be quickly bought or sold in the market without affecting the asset's price." You are indeed right, there is a lack of liquidity. What I said in my message is that the offer is not dead and then the liquidity may come back according to the confluence of the global crypto market and the Bitcore one. Anyway, I hope the fundraising platform with the reward system I am designing will provide a point of interest to dynamize the liquidity and the price of Bitcore. I will release a document on this but I need to finish some points. As I said, it is up to all of us to find back a liquidity in the coin and the responsability of all of us. Cryptopia's exit scam destroyed all those smaller coins that relied on it for an exchange. BTX being one of them unfortunately.
How so? So many coins, btx included only had cryptopia as a "decent" exchange. They basically had the rug swept under their feet. I think that's fairly obvious, unless perhaps you haven't been following many of those smaller coins. If by "how so" you mean why do I include btx, well, the discussion a few posts above makes that painfully clear. I think you bashing the other exchanges that are good third parties to buy Bitcore as well. I have tested Bit-Z, HitBTC, Cryptopia, Exrates, CoinExchange. Since the hack, HitBTC and ExRates worked well for Bitcore and got no problem with these platform. To good listeners ^^ |

I think, Bitcore - BTX should be placed on one exchange from the list at least: Binance, Huobi Global, HitBTC, LATOKEN, Bittrex etc.  It is on HitBTC, also a controversial exchange. Not much volume for BTX there, try sell or buy a big amount. HitBTC is a scam. Probably insolvent too. Don't deposit anything on that exchange. I read a new complaint about them every day either on reddit or on this forum. Be warned. It's a fact that now is very hard to buy Bitcore even for several thousand dollars. BTX is unpopular now. So Bittrex, Huobi, Binance? really? I think it's practically impossible at least in that year If sure you do not trust HitBTC, you will have difficulties to buy and to sell. What is the best exchange to use for trading Bitcore now that Cryptopia is down? Are there any reputable and high volume exchanges we can use?
Exrates ( https://exrates.me ) is the one with most BTX volume at the moment but don't know much about their reputation. Anyway you can check here exchanges where BTX are traded at the moment : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcore/#marketsHope this helps. Yes, exrates has the most volume for the meantime. Do we have some news or rumors that Bitcore will be listed to another reputable exchange? There's also hitbtc but of course mostly don't want to trade there so volume's kinda low and a lot of complains with their operations and withdrawals. I am using HitBTC for 3 months and I did not get troubles. The exchange has improved the quality of services. For another big exchange, Bitcore needs a better valua of the coin ^^'... You are right. This transaction is a good sign because of its transaparency. I think Cryptopia have secured Bitcore (BTX) funds on aother private key. I hope the platform come back online soon that you get back your remaining bags.
By now, Cryptopia exchange has been in maintenance mod. Their Twitter also has not mentioned about the return day. Therefore, I think that we have to wait for too long period to see the come-back of Cryptopia. Indeed, the Twitter account only says they have took back the keys of the officice. I do not want to speculate on this. I just hope it will be as fast as possible Does anyone believe they can really make a comeback in this competitive market? Why should anyone entrust them with funds again. I think I wouldn't although I was lucky and didn't have anything there. They blowed away any chance to make a comeback, that is for sure. They were one of the most used exchanges for the small marketcap coins. It's a shame they ended like this, maybe a person from inside made the runaway with the money? Who knows? ;P All the ERC20 tokens and ETH are gone for sure. I do not think they will come back as a cryptocurrency exchange. However, they may come back to open a payback system for people who have still funds on their platform. |

This is also my question. Just bought a few BTX on Cryptobridge but there is no way to withdraw them. WTF? Hi! As I said on Telegram. I have the same problem than you. the Bitcore team contacts them and Cryptobridge does not take care about this situation. This lasts since at least two months. |
