46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merit as a Newbie? on: November 07, 2019, 06:39:54 PM
I couldn't find the details about how to earn merit as a newbie, and how to earn sMerit, I think this information is not here in this forum. I understand making useful posts will earn merit but what it means?
It is very simple means try to make these type of posts which is useful for others if someone is a beginner at least they can gain some knowledge from the post and the most important thing don't copy from some article and somewhere else because it is someone else's effort.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get legacy address for BSV on: November 07, 2019, 06:28:08 PM
Try to convert your q-address to legacy address here https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/

Thank you, I have used the link you have shared and the address converted to legacy address which starts from some number so now can I provide that address to the exchange right?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to get legacy address for BSV on: November 07, 2019, 11:37:50 AM
Recently I have created one order from eth to bchsv and my order got failed because the exchange is not supporting 'q' addresses and they ask me to provide a legacy format of BSV address. Can anyone suggest me how can I get a legacy address?

50  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start on Bitcoin? Where is the best place to invest? on: November 05, 2019, 11:02:54 AM
You can start the investment at any time when you are ready to invest. Don't be greedy. Instead of focusing on some particular coin try to invest your time on their official websites and acquire some knowledge from different platforms as well. So it is always good to have some knowledge regarding investment and the exchange which you want to use for the transaction.
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phishing email ask me to install or update brave browser. on: November 04, 2019, 08:02:32 PM

55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY SCAM!!! on: October 22, 2019, 11:54:32 AM
There are so many approaches where you can avoid scam bug bounty-
  • If someone is asking money for bounty while joining then just ignore it because your money can't be refunded once it has left from your wallet.
  • If the bounty project isn't fake they never ask you your wallet private key.
  • It is good to use some other email while joining bounty not the original one and also provide some unique password for that.
  • Use the crypto wallet which has no balance so that if someone wants to hack they can't do.
  • Do research about the website who is behind the bug bounty program.
  • So always research from your side so that your crypto will be safe.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about selling BTC on: October 22, 2019, 11:51:11 AM
As the funds are in your wallet it is safe but after hard fork it is mandatory you have to split bch and bchsv. You can follow this link to know how to split your coins- https://rosecrypto.com/How-to-Split-BCHABC.
I am not promoting this link this is just a disclaimer. You can search more about this on google.
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Introduction to bitcointalk on: October 20, 2019, 07:01:14 PM

A very warm welcome to this forum @Sanoj . First thing try to learn and get more knowledge from this forum and on the other note don't believe in the project which you are seeing on google or in any other social media platform for that you have to read and investigate the particular project and go to their official website if it worth it then join the particular bounty or airdrop.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to send BTC - Incorrect Password on: October 20, 2019, 06:47:25 PM
Try to log in from the passwords which you may have used. If your password is showing incorrect then you can use your wallet recovery phrase which has a backup and restore your funds. Also, set up 2FA for your recovery phrase. When you will use it will recover all the funds and stored it in a particular wallet.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference between Minerfee and Sevice fee. on: October 18, 2019, 11:42:57 AM

Miner Fee: Fee that goes to the Miner for adding your transaction in a Block.

Service Fee: Fee that goes to the Service Provider, e.g. BitMex or Binance, for using their service.

Thank you so much for the cleared and simple answer will keep all these things in mind while trading.
60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most common mistakes made by beginner crypto traders! on: October 18, 2019, 11:32:51 AM
  • If you have decided to buy some crypto don't believe in all social media news. Explore the market first and then invest in crypto.
  • Try to learn from the mistakes which you had done in the past while trading.
  • Don't hold maximum funds with you because you don't know when the token will rise and don't sell all your coins at one shot.
  • Always calculate how much funds you will receive from your investment.
  • Most importantly keep all your wallet details securely.
  • Most importantly keep all your wallet details securely.
  • Choose the exchange who offers the most trustable and reliable service.
  • Remember in this crypto world it is easy to make money but it is hard to keep your money safe so more cautious about this.
