This is weird to say, but I kind of agree with Herp on this one. Unless that twitter account was hacked, it is pretty self-explanatory.
It is certainly not self-explanatory! I want to see the whole article. All I'm saying is if that's Payu's twitter account tweeting about how the President abandoned the coin in order to get some sort of reward (such as a higher position or some sort of kickback) then it doesn't look well with going forward with the Lakotas. Even if his accusations are false, then that would look just as bad for the Lakotas' to work with Payu. Regardless of what the article is about, he's bashing and calling out the President! Not a move you would make if you're going to work together on this project. |

And I bought in yesterday too didn't I? What I'm saying is no news is bad news at this point so the trend will continue downwards for the next couple of days until something positive is released (if any). That's all.

Also, I chose to sell this morning cause there wasn't any updated news from yesterday and I know that Payu isn't going to have formal meetings over the weekend with tribes so there won't be news (if any) for a few days. This equals the whole weekend of selling and I just need to cut my losses now!

Honestly guys, I just existed this coin. I've held on way too long and too tight. I'm taking a massive loss but this needs to be done. My only hope is to have it plummet even more and buy back in at double digits. I suggest others do the same cause the trend does not look favorable at this point.

The price point for when it opened doesnt matter. What matters is that they get the price point back up to a level where the premise is meaningful for the Lakota people. Of course I'm biased when I say this as that will mean I'll get my money back too, but looking at his perspective he needs to achieve a certain price point for the endeavor to work. He can't solicit tribes and say, "well we started at 150 sat so we're doing great." He needs to address how that 25 mil premine will actually be worth something...cause as it stands currently, it is not.

I'm glad a lot of us can at least agree on the coin's price point needs to be higher in order for this whole endeavor to work. This should be Payu's main concern. Worrying about anything else at this point is moot. The foundation of this project needs to be the coin's price.

I wouldn't nearly go that far. My impression is that he's a little over his head right now, and things moved faster than he expected. I'm also not sure how great he is with the technical side of cryptos, mining or what boxxa is doing exactly. He needs to coordinate better, get a pr person, and keep people informed. I had a much bigger problem with Boxxa than I did with Payu. Agreed. Boxxa needs to shut up and Payu needs to speak up more. |

Yeah I can see why he doesn't frequent there much. He needs to layout his plans on a weekly basis and follow-up with the community thereafter. Some really basic things can be changed to help eliminate the fud. I think he will make those changes going forward now. I don't want to hear Boxxa say anymore, and neither should Payu. He needs to have a passionate person handle his PR. At the very least have someone who won't tarnish your rep, the coin's rep and the work you're doing by minimizing the concerns of the public.

OMG! I made 3.7BTC profit on Maza, it's in my wallet, where do you think it came from? Really, if this is your understanding of economics and markets, you shouldn't be here. I'm not cool and I'm not "tuff"..... I do use a calculator though. Not from me! Also, if you think $2k profit is something to be proud of, then you're a little fish. I can lose $20k and not lose sleep over it. So applause for you 3.7 btc profit. You da man! Once you start earning 7 figures a year (in whatever kind of venture) then come gloat. |

As to the naysayers and haters.
I don't think they're here to push down price, not worth the bother and I don't think its effective. I also don't think they're here out of spite, no one would hang on that long after they cut their loss and ran. So what does that leave? Bitcoiners worried about the rise of national currencies, maybe, but they've got their own things to worry about and should by now expect that alts will succeed as BTC succeeds - there will be no bitcoin only future. So maybe Fudsters are from the gov? I don't think so, they would be much more concerned with Bitcoin right now to bother.
What does that leave? Racism. Now I'm not accusing those who are here for legit conversation, I can be critical too, but I'm referring to the people that just won't give up saying the same things over and over with a very negative attitude. The old thread definitely had some racist comments earlier on, but they died down after it was evident how ineffective that is for rallying support. I believe the ones who really can't leave it alone and seem to be here despite no stake in the coin are here because they see the potential in this coin and will do whatever necessary to fight it out of hatred. Prove me wrong, explain what the motivation could possible be.
Whatever the scope of this thread and the last. I promise you day traders and fudsters are not here to save you money. Figure out why they're here for yourself.

The reason I kept posting is because many of you who put money into Maza are unlikely to invest in anything else again and a conman was trying to get rich - I was also, to be honest, fascinated with watching the car crash. You are right, I am a day trader and I am here to take your money off you, but there will be no-one to take money from if crypto gets a reputation for out and out conmen. Please guys, be more careful next time - trust no-one, this is a game. Lol, nobody here has sold so you being some cool tuff guy saying you got our money is incorrect. It sucks, I know I lost money too, I think it's time we put this one to bed.
That's why they need to correct the mining side of things. If that's what stands in their way for bringing the price back up, then they should do it immediately. Again, why would the tribe accept and adopt a worthless currency? They wouldn't and that's why Payu and the devs need to correct this issue right away. |

Yeah I don't know who he's talking to either. I'm a holder of 800k mzc and haven't sold 1. Just trying to have a discussion that the price needs to be corrected since its pointless to have the Lakota's adopt this currency if it's worthless. It needs to have a much better value assigned to it in order to bring to the tribe and say, "this 25 Mill premine is for all the people and it's current value is X dollars." As it stands, why would the tribe adopt it if they know each member will only get a couple of bucks? So price does matter and should be the foundation of getting this accepted. How it's distributed and what good it can do should be only after a realistic price has been established. So you can't make plans to build schools, roads, new stores, etc... when their premine is worthless.

Except nobody on this planet is going to do work, exchange goods or give services without knowing the actually monetary value of it first. So it will always be tied to the usd in that sense just like btc is. The only way it would work in your scenario is if every single person in the tribe agreed that 1 mzc is worth x amount of value. I give you 1 mzc, you give me a loaf of bread, etc... Once the store clerk say's, "hey, 1 mzc is only worth a fraction of a penny and I paid $1 for this bread from my supplier...no deal" then it doesn't work anymore. Remember, the tribe functions using outside monetary sources as in the usd. So the gas station or grocery store isn't going to simply except 1 mzc in exchange for goods that they paid actual money with. That's why mzc needs to have a value for everybody, us included.
