41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GULDEN (NLG): PoW2 - SIGMA - SEGSIG - Become a Witness and secure your future. on: February 08, 2022, 08:50:48 AM
I liked this ability to pay at bitcoin merchants, what if the community decided to use some of the bitvavo funding to pay the developer to have it added?
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: January 25, 2022, 07:28:09 AM

today Rijk also announced that the premine of Florin.org , which was planned for Airdrop on holders and marketing/development was sold to a third party. (maybe not really for Gulden thread but since both projects are linked)

The third party is Rijk. Did you really think he was going to give the premine away in a airdrop? It's the same script with Gulden, airdrop at the start and then taken for himself.

You don't know this as fact. The people who have funds stuck in witness will also think it's good, the price can be much higher when the coins are available in the future. In the short term the fact that all these people can't sell the coins because its stuck in witness makes it easier for new investors to pump the price without worrying about dumping. Florin going more centralized with few investors holding most of the coins is good because they won't sell at lower prices. Gulden is too decentralized, when investors try to increase the price many users dump.

This is by far the most riskiest purchase of all the coins I have. I won't be buying more as 1% of the total supply is already in dangerous territory as I won't be doing any work for the coin, I am only 1 investor.
Please let me know if there is any campaigns running that I can contribute towards, in order to help this coin get some attention.

There was funding for bitvavo exchange listing but was cancelled. No other funding I know of.

Gulden was created in 2014, the team never gives up trying. I have been scammed with 2 or 3 alts that came and went. 8bit was the worst of them for me but Gulden team has always stayed through bad times when the price is low. I never give up Gulden as Gulden never gave
up on me.

My friend told me Amazon.nl will accept Gulden soon, is this true?

Bitvavo exchange listing soon. Rijk working long hours every day for Gulden.

7 days to go before the almost 50% halving and change from max 1.68 billion supply to 700 million, Gulden starts to become more scarce. Already the best core development of the crypto currencies and on top of this offering investors good value long into the future.
Above all this the Gulden community is the best, loving, thoughtful and giving. Robby is a super star and the best marketer and promoter Gulden has had in 7 years.

From all updates I have seen in crypto, the price always dumps after a update. I have placed low buy orders between 30 and 40 satoshi.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: May 12, 2021, 01:39:40 PM

Community is strong these days. Lots of work is done to promote Gulden and first time focus on new exchange listings.

Waiting for a whale to buy Novo to 50000 satoshi.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: May 10, 2021, 01:08:12 PM
I got some mined Novo I have placed above 40000 for sale. When it sells I will contribute towards bitvavo listing.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: April 14, 2021, 05:11:55 PM
If security is an issue the devs will not program it

There will always be miners.

Yoshi from EFL won't be happy with this change, it was the only advantage they had on Gulden, now Gulden has the good development,  good community and finally reward halvings.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: April 11, 2021, 02:16:55 PM
Can rich traders sell coins to push the price to 1c before the rewards and max supply change. I want to buy Gulden at fair value, I never would sell if i knew this change was coming.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 30, 2021, 05:01:45 AM
I am trying to sell my last Gulden, is the rate on Stex correct to buy Novo with Gulden?

I am also going to start a Novo ANN in English and Dutch sections when I own 250 Novo or more.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 29, 2021, 03:20:19 PM
I am going to invest in Novo
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 20, 2021, 11:37:13 AM
Novo has it's total supply reduced from 10 billion to 210 000, this is why the price has jumped 200% in 24hrs. This is a test for Gulden to reduce max supply from 1.6 billion to 600 million and drop rewards by 90%? This is will be a welcome move for Gulden! It will be unfair if 1 project of Rijk does this but not the other.

Rijk has learnt but had my doubts, this is what needed to be done with Gulden and complained many times that the supply and reward is too high, I didn't invest in Novo because of the 10 billion supply but if the price drops to $3, I will buy 500 - 1000 coins and hold.
With EFL the total supply and reward was done proper by the original creator, but he was not a good developer and Gulden does have a good developer but the total supply and high rewards stop it from growing.

You will never see $3 again, the 210 000 total supply is after 100 years, the current supply is over 60k. You won't get 1% of the supply sold at $3 which is slightly over 600.

This coin was created to give long term Gulden investors a chance to make some money. What a gift. Price is $16 and will climb to $30 next week.

I am sad I sold the Novo I mined to buy Gulden, why is the development fund destroyed and with Novo funds destroyed how they going to lower the Gulden reward, will Gulden have to pay for both funding?

This is confusing for me but don't get any hope up of reward cut. Many in the GAB are part of Novo and they won't lower reward for Gulden if no money for Novo development.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: January 10, 2021, 12:01:47 PM
E-gulden close to passing nlg marketcap to become the premium currency for the Dutch. Low inflation and proof that money does not need to be smart, it need to be scarce so the value can increase. All the fast development Gulden has before Novo and people want to hold a coin with low supply.

Guldens fiat price has begun its upward trend this week, in 3 months a lot of patience holders will see good gains. Better increases in % then bitcoins rally.
New ATH can be reached but please no new coin announcements or people will kill themselves.

Waaaaayy too many pussies that sell for a small profit and pretend they still hodling.

When the poor man mentality has left the Gulden community aka when they get bought out, this coin will go top 100.

Covid has been hard on some for work, I had a  friend who sold before this last 200% increase in price and he is feeling shit about it. He found a job 1 week after he sold and wants to get back into Gulden at the same price he sold.

Looks like the rise is over and price will go back to normal levels, at least my friend will be happy.

There’s an article in Medium about Gulden development, it’s a good read.
https://link.medium.com/XmQ2FdQHTab

Speaking of Gulden development, what new has come out in the last 6 months?
What is the plans for Gulden and is there 1 core developer dedicated to Gulden and 1 to the other coin?

Last 6 months was only Novo but Gulden will get electron wallet next year when Novo finished.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: October 24, 2020, 12:33:51 PM
I have mined Novo and going to sell 15 coins from mining, I will use the btc to buy Gulden. Look to mine other coins and use the btc to support Gulden. I will get 12000 coins from the Novo I have mined and I help make someone into Novo whale.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: October 04, 2020, 07:04:16 PM
Won't Rijk end up with a lot of Novo if he is using the btc from the IPO to buy from sellers?

Here's an answer for you, he already owns all NOVO! All NOVO sold on the "market" to date was from his premined stack!

I truly cannot believe people are falling for this again! He copy-pasted the code from Gulden and finally did marketing on his new coin. The marketing was however only to target the existing fanbase to get them to invest their hard earned cash into his pockets again. He knows the limit of 2500 NOVO per investor is more than enough @ a rate of € 3,62. This means each person can "only" invest € 9k in his direct pocket. After losing their life savings on Gulden, this is more than most of them can afford anyway. Lets see, Gulden always claimed they have over 25000 active users right? Lest say they buy for € 250,- on average, that's another cool € 6.2mm for Rijk to call his own private belongings in a couple of years, just like he did with the Gulden "shares"!

Let me set the egg timer for you guys...

Rijk is ok, serious person, he can vernederen you, not sure how you say it in English, but he want Gulden to do well.
I got some Novo from mining but can't figure out how to transfer coins out of the mining wallet, I want to sell and use to buy Gulden off Stex exchange. The reward is only 0.1 per block but the price is over €4 , more then mining Gulden each block in € value. Gulden community can mine Novo to support Gulden price.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: October 04, 2020, 06:53:10 PM
Gulden has officially been listed on the Stex exchange with 2 pairings.

https://app.stex.com/en/basic-trade/pair/BTC/NLG
https://app.stex.com/en/basic-trade/pair/NOVO/NLG

This is the best position in terms of exchanges this coin has ever been in, I can't believe my eyes, have the devs had a change of heart when it comes to exchange Listings?
Total volume on this exchange is over $23 million compared to Nocks with 4k volume and a 10k monthly deposit limit? You can't compare.
Price of 68sat before listing of new exchange, in 3 weeks the price will move to 77-81 sat. This will bring some confidence to traders, pleased with this news!

Seems like things have stalled, we’ve been beat up pretty brutally over these last couple years. Let’s see if it’ll gain some valuation over the next weeks/months. A bullrun feels to me like a thing of the past, and it probably means that the right time to start paying some close attention to NLG is upon us.

Nocks was a big loss for NLG, Malcolm on the blockchain and Roel developing Nocks was a strong pairing. Gulden still lucky to have Malcolm and if anyone deserves to see success for Gulden its Malcolm.

I would invest in a coin with Roel and Malcolm together. 2 great developers

I can agree that Nocks was the cherry on top of the cake with all its seamless functionalities built underneath Gulden. Their exit was the final blow that set us back more than we deserved, if I had to guess we would have bottomed out long ago if Nocks was still around, but hey... Exchanges come and go, coins come and go.

Once again we're one exchange up, development still prevails and eventually a Decentralised exchange will be added to our Swiss army knife of a wallet.
Things can be rebuilt, confidence can be regained. We're all here writing for a reason.

Yes , new exchange helps. You need to verify like bittrex. Don't use yobit it's a scam exchange, I still have coin stuck on this shit exchange.
