Intel HD Graphics wouldnt affect the gpu plotter from detecting my R9 290 would it?
I don't believe so. Have you made sure you have the latest Drivers as well as the AMD APP SDK installed?

Many times... I'm currently uninstalling everything and running a driver cleaner.  Then re-installing everything based of the links you posted.  Will post back with results.

You don't think a PCI Express riser would change things would it?

It shouldn't.

Everything is working now!  Don't know what the issue was but uninstalling everything and re-installing everything fixed the issue!  Thanks everyone that pitched in some help.

For me it didnt work because EXACTLY INTEL HD.. it simply defined as  a default graphic on my motherboard..and untill i changed it in bios. i cant do anything Smiley

Hey guys, some kind of stupid question, is everything gone when i close the run_generate before its finished?
Can i just save and keep generating the next day?

Because i tried the first time today and noticed that it will not be saved.
I have a 6TB HDD, is it better to create smaller files, would be a pain in the ass if my pc crashes after like 5TB.

When you close it your plot file is not full, but you can mine with it like with full file..
Do it by parts..  maybe 500 GB or by 1 TB.. its good to lose one TB instead of 5 Cheesy

uray i have switched to your pool..

my address:
BURST-2HN2-3XVV-QVUX-7G869

but i don't understand if all is ok after setting http://127.0.0.1:8125/rewardassignment.html params!

can you check plz?

or maybe, why you do not do 3 page like burst pool http://178.62.39.204:8121/:

Current share counts
Current allowed users
Current user balances

than kyou!!

That would be great.. I dont know if i mining right or wrong.. but with this pages it will be so simple to find out Smiley

So I started plotting last night (been 14 hours) using the command:
sh run_generate.sh myaddress 0 7549747200 8121 4    (for my 2TB drive)

I looked today and see that I have one plot (~185GB).

Does this sound correct?

I thought this was supposed to generate a bunch of plots around the 2GB range?

I am on 64-bit linux (14.04) 4gb ram and just testing it out with my 2 TB drive before adding more.

Thanks.

Regards,

LC

I am not sure how this works on linux but,
for windows you use this command to generate 2TB:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2500m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate 7xxxxxxxxxxxx71 0 8192000 6000 4

8192000 --> (2000(2TB)*1024*1024)/256
6000  --> RAM
4   --> CPU core's

Not sure what's the problem with me, but this is all I get during mining.

Yes, I'm generating nonces and mining as well, though I've been doing so all night and there wasn't a single valid share obviously. May there be a problem with my configuration?
i don't know what you mean but you plots not complete... and miner is tell you what plots are incomplete

Its because your plots are not generated fully, -- > its show this errror reading file..
and "no valid share" means that you dont have shares to submit. Its normal for those who dont have 50 TB of plots..

Try to use this pools:

uray pool is stuck on "retrying" for submitting shares

which pool?
if its on first, then please move to http://burst-pool2.cryptoport.io

my page is dont want to download on :
http://burst-pool2.cryptoport.io

Sad

But shares are sending well.

Where can i find my miner on that pool? Or where can i see how many shares i send? Thx

Hi my hdd drive 4TB i want create 4 plot (each plot 1TB) in my plot folder . whtas your idea one 4TB plot better than 4 plot(each plot 1TB) or dosent matter?

Lets see what experts say to this..

My personal opinion is:

Better 4x1 1 TB, Because if something goes wrong you lose only one TB, because if you start to generate 4 TB it takes some long time and for example someone can shut down electricity.. or your PC can blow Cheesy
So better 4x1TB Cheesy

Hello
I generate plot from nonce 0 to 3276800 with stagger size 1024 and its fine.
Now i want to make my plot file bigger so i generate from plot:

3276800+1024=3277824 to plot 3600000 (3600000*256/1000000=921.6GB) So i generated plot from 838Gb to 921Gb.

Problem is my plot generation dont stop at nonce 3600000 bu is going next above thah value. I had to stopi it manually (ctrl+c) but i don't know why this is going and if everything is fine now ?

its not "FROM" to "TO".  Its from what nonce to how many..

so example..: XXXXXXX 0 1000 4096 4

XXX nubmer wallet
0 - start nonce
1000 - it will generate 1000 nonces
4096 - stugger size
4 - CPU cores..

Ok..maybe i didnt understend question Cheesy

For the past few week, difficulty increase about 15% per day. If we take this into calculation than everyday we will get less share coin per day since more people mining this now.

Well, I'm might need to order more HDD (8-16 more) soon.

lol, i don't think the diff will increase regardless, it will stop at some point, unless the price will follow too
with more exchange it pushed, more people will know this coin, and more people will mine this...price is nothing, because the cost for mining burst can be ignored. it didn't need huge power supply and with no noise, burst is just free money

Two more weeks and with my 1 TB (separate PC) i would mine zero bursts Cheesy
impossible, if you join the pool, you can still get far more then 200+burst, diffculty will not raise so much, it is almost 3900TB now ,with 1TB you can get 800 burst a day, if you can get 200 burst a day, then the whole capacity should arrive at 3900*4TB, i don't think within 2 week will arrive this, one week ago, it is 2800-2900 TB, this week increased 1000TB, it is impossible increase 12000TB in two week

Sorry, it wasnt literarely.. But 200 burst a day its nothing Cheesy i will buy some, mining for me would be  pointless in few weeks.
I have one question. How do i recognize if i mining on pool V2 (http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io/). I start to mine yesterday and didnt get payed yet. So, maybe my PC is setup wrong or something..

Trying the new gpu plotter....

my config...

Code:
gpuPlotGenerator generate 0 0 plots 4163282010088137402 15662000 20480 500 64 128
PAUSE

The error I get says "[-54] Error in step1 kernel launch"  It does this after "Setting OpenCL step3 kernel static arguments"

Any ideas?  Is my config bad, I started with pretty low numbers.  I should also mention I'm plotting on my cpu right now with 4 cores (i2720qm), and have 2/8 gb free.

The -54 is the "CL_INVALID_WORK_GROUP_SIZE" error. It is related to your <threads> parameter. Different values for this parameter may solve your actual problem.

Try this..works for me on 280x
Code:
gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate 0 0 plots 1097617453xxxxx23 0 1000 4091 128 8160
pause
Sorry, i didnt see that you use NVIDIA!! On nvidia it doesnt work, i tried on GT 650, 750...

Can i copy or clone plot files to other HDD (or computers) and use these plot files for mining? Sad

It isn't possible. You have to generate new plots for every hard drive.

You need to have plots without overlaping nonces

so you  generate like this

1x ---> 2x
2.1x---->3x
3.1x--->4x
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | Update to 1.1.0 before block 11800 on: September 11, 2014, 08:47:12 AM
7000 nonces/min from my r9 280x , it's ok or too small?

My 7970 does 11.5k~11.7k nonces/min, 7970 is about the same as a 280x.

Try 3072 for stagger size, 128 thread and 8160 hashes.
i try, but i have error -61 Buffer cannot create... bla bla bla (((

Try a lower stagger size, maybe 2048.

i try 2048, 3079, 3192, 4096 .... result wich one... -61 error

Maybe reinstall the driver and APP SDK. Use DDU driver cleaner, before reinstalling. Are you using AMD 13.9 driver or 14.x driver? I'm using 13.9 with 2.9.1 APP SDK.

This command line works for me:

gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate 0 0 plots 1097617453xxxxx23 0 1000 4091 128 8160
pause

Drivers. 14.4 or 14.7 ..

Did anyone re-download the wallet? Are transactions going from newset to oldest? The DEV made a post about editing some files in the html folder but it did not work for me.

I downloaded it and it fixed for me.

OK. I'll do it again. Thanks.

EDIT: It did NOT work for me.

If you still have issues just backup your password(remember to backup all impotant things!) ..Delete all from old wallet , download new and sync.

And use forum:

burst-pool.cryptoport.io has issues again? Current block 9846.

good, whenever one of the pools is having issues, I get more solo blocks. Just got one. haha. My apologies for you pooler's losses. xD

Good for you!! How many TB you have? For me its pointless to mine solo i have only 1 TB..
