Hello I generate plot from nonce 0 to 3276800 with stagger size 1024 and its fine. Now i want to make my plot file bigger so i generate from plot:
3276800+1024=3277824 to plot 3600000 (3600000*256/1000000=921.6GB) So i generated plot from 838Gb to 921Gb.
Problem is my plot generation dont stop at nonce 3600000 bu is going next above thah value. I had to stopi it manually (ctrl+c) but i don't know why this is going and if everything is fine now ?
its not "FROM" to "TO". Its from what nonce to how many.. so example..: XXXXXXX 0 1000 4096 4 XXX nubmer wallet 0 - start nonce 1000 - it will generate 1000 nonces 4096 - stugger size 4 - CPU cores.. Ok..maybe i didnt understend question

Lets see what experts say to this.. My personal opinion is: Better 4x1 1 TB, Because if something goes wrong you lose only one TB, because if you start to generate 4 TB it takes some long time and for example someone can shut down electricity.. or your PC can blow So better 4x1TB

I have a lot of failed to submit nonce recent
Is there a problem with the Uray pool?
i switch to Burstcoin V2 pool... too many unsubmitted shares on http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io/! i confirm mining is ok on V2 pool! i'm getting burst! The pool operators have failed to acknowledge requests to release their source code. To make the POC algo go forward it should be a no-brainer to release it to Github. The way that this coin is growing, unless a lot more pools spring up people are going to become frustrated by not having a way to mine. EDIT: Uray has just acknowledged a request and said no because the code is not ready for distribution and would cause more problems. He is coming out with Pool 3 as soon as he has the money.

Okay, after some review, I must conclude that so-called GPU Plotter is a worthless piece of crap, suited only for hackers and code monkeys.
After downloading the 2 files and 7zip, and installing 7zip, the first directions here were to read the README files. Okay.
And.... progress comes to a halt. Direction #1 - install msys/mingw. Installing it isn't the main problem, rather, the bigger problem is that the file ISN'T HERE!!!!!
How the hell am I supposed to install something that isn't in the folder to install?!?!?!?!?
Then after installing OpenCL, which I can do, it gets into modifying files and command line directions for use of the cd command, etc.
Hey, how about releasing a version that WORKS without having to hack / guess / compile the damn thing?
Get to work on it, this current version SUCKS OBAMA!!!!!
And make it for Windows, no more Linux stuff that 1% or less of the world uses!!!!
TIMK, it would be no problem if you just had questions - this is what forums are for and here are many people willing to help. But you are ignorant, loud and insulting. Take your pills or leave, please.

Okay, time for me to bitch aobut this.
I downloaded the GPU Plotter on page 443. I have WinZip on my computer (Windows 7 64 bit Pro).
When right clicking the files, I can't even get the option to open with WinZip.
So what the hell? Is this plotter made only for Linux? How do I open the files to install them?
it's a .7z file, not a .zip file. You need 7-zip to be able to extract it:http://www.7-zip.org/download.html.7z is a fairly common compression format which most are familiar with. Either way, 7-zip is a MUCH more robust compression application and I would suggest using 7-zip instead of WinZip in the future. This is not true, WinZip will extract the contents just fine. I'd check that your download completed properly. Okay, after some review, I must conclude that so-called GPU Plotter is a worthless piece of crap, suited only for hackers and code monkeys.

Wow. I mean there is asking for help politely and receiving help, then there is bashing a piece of work, created to help people, into submission whilst expecting help and improvements. Why didn't you just ask the dev to come to your house and teach you how2computer as well. FYI, I am running windows, msys/ming installed, compiled with no problem, running like a charm And make it for Windows, no more Linux stuff that 1% or less of the world uses!!!! Linux>>>>>>>>>WIndows

OK so the gpu ploter works fine, but it's kinda slow My best result is about 1200 n/m on a single Radeon 7950. My config: /gpuPlotGenerator generate 0 0 /plots <number> 6400000 700000 128 16 8160 pause any ideas how to improve?

I think you may increase <threadsNumber> to 64 I tried with 64 threads but it slows down, it's faster with 16 threads. So it still takes about 2 days to plot 1TB. Is there a way to make a single plot with 2 video cards? Or just 1 plot per card.
