I've mentioned a couple of times before that I'm working on a little (hopefully it will become big) DRK project. I think it is an important thing for DRK to have if there is to be widespread adoption.
So far I've funded everything myself which has eaten into my DRK holdings quite a bit (I own/owned a very small amount compared to most people here).
What I would like is one or more people who would like to buy a stake (it doesn'thave to be much) in what I'm building so I can add more features sooner. I think this has a good chance of being popular and making some money.

What happened to the bounties? Last I heard someone was taking over from LimLims.
I'm working on a project that there may be a bounty for. And since it's cost me quite a bit of my DRK, it would be nice to collect some back from a bounty.

Seriously though, late July time frame for RC4  . The Darkcoin community demand RC4 immediately ! Speak for yourself. I would prefer that they take plenty of time, so we can avoid problems like the ones with RC3. |

Dafuq, somebody's bot got us pegged to ltc? We've been nearly tracking ltc price all day. LOD for both coins exactly .0115. Let's hope its just my imagination if not that craps gotta stop
I have been observing this for the last few days and never brought it up on purpose. I cannot think of a single reason why this is going on. There could have been some Bitfinex explanation, but it was always Mintpal leading it and come to think of it didn't DRK/USD market open today in Craptsy? Either way this thing needs to correct itself. Its definitely got something to do with Litecoin as we have been tracking against their price for a while now. Dont see why we should be. Possibly once the market realises Litecoin is a dead horse we will shoot back up very quickly. Everyone started going back to BTC anticipating a bull run following the USMS auction completion and Newegg announcement, but the bull run didn't happen, only alt massacre did. Nowadays everyone is a fucking trader selling on news. But the pegging has been going on since a while now. It might be bots on Mintpal doing this. The main thing everyone was waiting for was the price from the auction. That still hasn't been released, but if/when it is the price will probably start moving one way or the other. |

I just noticed that the "big" dup of DRK happened about 1 hour after a big rise in BTC today. I looks like someone was worried about missing the next BTC rise and decided to move from DRK to BTC. If they didn't want to miss the "big BTC rise" then they'd need to move US Dollars into BTC, not DRK since the "rise" you're implicitly referring to is in the BTC / USD market. DRK is priced in BTC, so there would be no gain from that market to be had from moving DRK to BTC. You would be correct if the BTC/DRK exchange rate is fixed, but it's not. Say I have 1DRK when the DRK/BTC exchange rate is 0.015, and the price of BTC is $600, meaning that DRK is worth $9. Now if DRK/BTC goes to 0.014 and in the same period USD/BTC goes to $630, that 1DRK is now worth $8.82. BUT if I had exchanged that 1DRK into BTC when the price was 0.015, I'd have 0.015 DRK, meaning at the new USD/BTC rate of $630, I'd have $9.45. nonsense Care to explain why? moving from drk to btc makes obviously sense in case of a drk downtrend, btc moving up cannot be the reason. It would mean if BTC is on uptrend your loosing money being invested in dark, but thats not the case I think the point I'm really trying to make is DRK has a USD price. DRK moving from 0.015 to 0.014 is not necessarily down in USD. People around here seem to think that nobody looks at the USD price and only the BTC price. To give another example say I had 1DRK which was worth $10 at 10:00am, while BTC was trading at $600. Then at 6:00pm my DRK was still trading at $10, but BTC had moved to $630. by now drk is mainly traded with btc, usd markets are far to small to define the price.. When I say USD price I mean calculating it by multiplying USD/BTC x BTC/DRK (e.g. 600 * 0.15 = $9). in your example btc moved up and drk went down, as long as drk went down it makes sense moving to btc. the btc rise is nonrelevant
When you say that you imply the same gains can be made from holding DRK as holding BTC. I think it's pretty clear that the prices often move independently from each other. The BTC/DRK rate almost always moves down when the USD/BTC rate moves up. |

Clones think Masternode is a weakness...  They can't see behind Anonimity They still haven't figured out the proof of service and how valuable they are with infinite opportunity to set up new services... In less than 2 months, we will have a ton of clones with (Replace)nodes again, after they figured out they deceived themselves. Just found a new one ! On a related note, that rise in BTC ~$30 (5%) has helped keep the $ price of DRK up.

I think everyone just need to relax the fuck out. Someone just decided to dump a whole lot to cause a panic. As soon as everyone realizes there's nothing behind this we'll jump back up like every other time it has happened.

For the most part it is working. There are a few minor issues, but they'll be fixed soon. Developing a coin with new features nobody has tried yet is difficult, and will not happen overnight. |

Congrats Darkcoin holders and team! I made a poor decision and sold my coins during the panic. FML. I'm a  panda I sold a few to, to fund a little DRK related project I'm working on . If it works I'll announce here soon. |

For a coin boasted as anon I am glad to finally see some form of that implemented. What is happening with the 2.25 million coin instamine?
Darksend has been working for ages. This just enables masternide payments. Some of the instamined coins were sold or used as bounties, the holders can do whatever they want with the rest. |
