Agree 1000 DRK send limit is important for further adoption.
RC4 just needs a better outlook. WHAT happens WHEN? Thats all thats needed.
wasn't the date mid july for RC4 ? "mid july" is no date. AFAIK its just "july". but whats more important is that nobody knows what to expect from RC4. imo 1000DRK limlitaion is more important.

DRK is lacking perspective right now. Markets always search dates/events they can look forward too, but DRK is lacking a bit in that regard.
I agree with this. The team used to be more clear about timelines etc, but now things are more in the dark. I'm hoping for a big announcement soon. Obviously keeping my stash of DRK no matter what, since in the end, price will be >$50.

I just noticed that the "big" dump of DRK happened about 1 hour after a big rise in BTC today. I looks like someone was worried about missing the next BTC rise and decided to move from DRK to BTC.
On a related note, that rise in BTC ~$30 (5%) has helped keep the $ price of DRK up.

DRK and XC Communities,
The toxic back and forth between our two communities has reached a level with which neither of us are comfortable or impressed. The competitive space for our coins lies in the results, and the results will speak for themselves as they are brought online. Whatever mistakes or provocations were undertaken by either side are in the past, and we would like them to remain there. We are all interested in one thing: the advancement of anonymous cryptocurrency. Let go of the tribalism and start thinking of how you can positively contribute to that end.
Evan and Dan
+100000 well done. Xnodes & Masternodes are great, but this is the true mark of vision & leadership. There are powerful groups who have much to lose in cryptocurrency's success. Let's bury the hatchet before it buries us all.

Price of DRK right now is a factor of...
- All eyes on US Marshall BTC auction (nothing to write home about, but a media frenzy of course) - LTC being raped and everyone getting the hell out ASAP - No one is buying LTC from BTC obviously, so using the next best options to leverage out -> DRK is one of them - trading volume is getting smaller and smaller = low price is fake bubble soon to explode - really, its little sardines trading low - real investors do not have volume to buy in, and will not waste their time buying crumbles making the price rise. In every single interesting volume dump, there has been an equal snatch back up.
Masternode count keeps rising. The coin is healthier by the day. More devs, best community ever, hard-working and enduring. If you dont see it, fair enough.
The fork going wrong, and the second "mini-forking" did obviously impact the tremendous rise DRK was having. I'd credit 50% of that to true investors, and 50% to crypto-chart-surfers.
Early adopter are holding in tight, no one is panic selling, are there is absolutely nothing to panic about, quite on the contrary. Investors are in, the ones that panic-sold and got burnt are waiting for the spork to fork, true capital is waiting for the 10 DRK lift.
There has never been a better time to get DRK. Masternode payments are working beautifully.
I agree with some of these things but it is also important to mention the charts. There was a breakout coming one way or the other. The long-term charts have it written all over them.

I just noticed that the "big" dup of DRK happened about 1 hour after a big rise in BTC today. I looks like someone was worried about missing the next BTC rise and decided to move from DRK to BTC. If they didn't want to miss the "big BTC rise" then they'd need to move US Dollars into BTC, not DRK since the "rise" you're implicitly referring to is in the BTC / USD market. DRK is priced in BTC, so there would be no gain from that market to be had from moving DRK to BTC.

It does not matter if drk will be @ 0.01 and btc @ 1000$ the worth of drk will be still the same Btw. The drk price is only temporary dont worry.

Say I have 1DRK when the DRK/BTC exchange rate is 0.015, and the price of BTC is $600, meaning that DRK is worth $9. Now if DRK/BTC goes to 0.014 and in the same period USD/BTC goes to $630, that 1DRK is now worth $8.82. BUT if I had exchanged that 1DRK into BTC when the price was 0.015, I'd have 0.015 DRK, meaning at the new USD/BTC rate of $630, I'd have $9.45.

One caveat is that several of the richest addresses are controlled by exchanges, so technically we aren't sure how rich the actual owners of those coins are, which skews the charts. Still, very interesting.
