41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sub $500 soon, fake recover shall not pass $520! on: August 31, 2014, 02:41:35 PM
Fallling.. You seem to have different price targets in different threads. No consistency?  Grin

He constantly needs to adjust what he says, to be right sometimes...

BTC down, "It is going nowhere but down from here"
BTC up, "It is a dead cat bounce"

Meanwhile BTC has risen from 0$ to 500$ (at this moment) over the last several years. That there will be moments that BTC is overbought and oversold, well to understand those things, he's too stupid. But he sure loves playing with his dead cat.

He will eventually be right if all he said is it will fall and give no price target and give no time frame.

I could said the same thing: Bitcoin will go to 800. I will be right eventually if I do not specify a time limit.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dubai to drive the next boom on: August 30, 2014, 10:07:23 AM
This is not even a real exchange but some coinbase-like thing with 1% commission.

This is good enough for many investors as they do not need to deal with bank regulation issues when sending money abroad.

Companies like this should lose all benefit and deduction operating in US.

Should they encounter security issue abroad, they should not expect any assistance from the government.
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your dream political system on: August 29, 2014, 11:56:59 AM
Absolute monarchy with me being the King.

Think this is everyone dream here as there are only two things we desire, money and power.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe falllling is right? on: August 29, 2014, 11:55:24 AM
They just try to make price go down so they can buy at lower price.

go ahead be my guest to buy, bitcoin is breaking into $4xx soon,

why don't you buy "cheaper coins" now? because they are going to be much more cheaper Cheesy

So you want to buy them cheaper because you know we will see ATH next year.

there is no "cheap coins" if bitcoin keep dropping down everyday

The term "cheap" should be compare to production cost.

The production cost for an average miner is higher than 600 per coin, and slightly lower for the ASIC manufacture.

Unless bitcoin go away, the coin price has to go up at least above the production cost.

46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe falllling is right? on: August 28, 2014, 04:58:11 PM
No, falllllling isn't right! I know you guys are disappointed, but I will do my best to make it up to you!!!  Undecided Embarrassed

He is right for the WRONG reasons.

Anyway, unless he is shorting big time, he will not benefit from it.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In * we trust? on: August 28, 2014, 04:08:37 PM
Since bitcoin is based on cryptography. It won't be out out line to say:

In cryptography we trust.
48  Other / Off-topic / Re: BTC Balance of BitcoinTalk Members on: August 26, 2014, 04:48:10 PM
Members who post regularly on forum probably don't hold that much btc.

Since majority of them are wasting time rather than working on something more productive.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: What possible events would make bitcoin go to $0? on: August 26, 2014, 04:46:22 PM
If there is a nuclear war and all human die off, then bitcoin will certainly be worthless.

What caused every single human to die off?

Most of the research and analysis I have read about nuclear war shows that a large portion of humanity would die and civilisation as we know it would be over, but I've never heard of a scenario where every human would die from a nuclear war.

When the world can no longer support basic infrastructure, internet will cease to operate and hence render bitcoin and blockchain in-operational.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now! Collapse incoming on: August 25, 2014, 05:36:56 PM
I see falllling has created a new account.

Writing style appears to be him. Must be having too much time on hand.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: August 25, 2014, 05:35:28 PM
There is no guarantee facebook is thinking about accepting bitcoin. They already accepted whatsapp and instagram. Right now, it seems like Facebook is getting ready for another new technology by accepting bitcoin. The company is ready to provide financial services and electronic money.
It isn't so much that facebook "accepted" instagram and whatsapp but they rather bought them out.

It is already possible to pay for things via bitcoin on facebook and IMO it is only a matter of time that facebook will start to accept bitcoin for payment for ads and likely credits. Also since it is possible to purchase many gift cards on this forum, I would not be surprised to start to see trading of facebook credits on the marketplace sometime in the future.

Facebook credits will slowly fade away. Merchants might decided to by pass payment system and accept and deal using bitcoin directly.
Unless facebook were to change their current policy this would really not be possible. AFAIK all "in-site" purchases must be done with facebook credits. This is very similar to how all "in-app" purchases must be done via the iTunes app store for apps on iPhones, iPads and iPods. I could see facebook potentially accepting BTC for payment for facebook credits in the future, but I would doubt that they would allow users to buy things with BTC directly.

Off platform transaction occur on ebay and amazon all the times.

The only issue is trust. For facebook store with reputation, they can easily convince buyer to send payment first before shipping items.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a socially fair currency on: August 24, 2014, 07:21:01 PM
They, the mega whales, want to keep dominating the markets and not let today's bitcoin owners become more powerful and wealthy than the mega whales. And those big traders can easily launch their own cryptocurrency once legal regulations are in place.

Hey! I came to think of another possibility. Governments will not allow any independent cryptocurrency to become too big. They will therefore introduce an official cryptocurrency.

Easier said than done. How do you propose they not allow bitcoin to become too big? And why would anyone else use their cryptocurrency?

The total value of bitcoin today is puny compared to the trillions of dollars being swapped around on the fiat exchanges. If some of the really big players decide to cooperate and issue their own cryptocurrency they can easily and quickly pump up the price of that currency, and then the smaller investors would start to follow in order to gain on the massive upward momentum. In this way their cryptocurrency could match bitcoin within a couple of months and then go up much further leaving bitcoin behind like pocket change.

Problem for bitcoin right now is it doesn't support smart contract.

Unless someone develop and integrate smart contract into btc, it will probably be left behind once smart contract coin emerges.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: ready for $400 again? on: August 24, 2014, 07:19:12 PM
The Winklevii has an insanely big position and will buy as soon as they think price is getting way to low. We have "good whales" among us guaranteeing Bitcoin will not crash. Enjoy the buttburt months from now when it's higher than ever and you didnt bought/sold all of your cheapo ass coins to whales.

They are the one that bring bitcoin all the way from 20 to over 260+.

The price crashed down to 66 later and stay below 100 for a while. I don't see any suppose whale trying to buy up all the coins to 200 before China bubble.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: ready for $400 again? on: August 23, 2014, 06:12:05 PM
600 in 4 days, mark my words here

Marked.

Is there really any consequences of being wrong?
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 23, 2014, 06:09:23 PM
The unreliable fluctuation that goes on around the bitcoin network make me choose gold rather than bitcoin.Gold is more trusted by many people around the globe witnessed and backed up by the time, while bitcoin still needs to go through the cycle. In all honesty, the Bitcoin is an experiment. We have no idea what will happen and who will oppose it.

Right. The population of old civilization like the Chinese and Indian still hold gold dearly. So it is safe to say gold is at least backed by two civilizations.

Bitcoin is backed by no one but "geek". And we all know how reliable geeks can be.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTCjam on: August 22, 2014, 08:40:56 AM
is is scam / not?
my friends told me, that BTCjam is a scam.  Huh

what about you guys?
(just asking, because if not scam, i want to put my BTC at there)

The platform itself isn't a scam. But it is infected with borrower with the intention to scam lender.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble imminent on: August 22, 2014, 08:39:55 AM
If you are recommending people to buy, you should also tell us what price is a good price to sell.

Remember, bull makes money, bears makes money. Pig get slaughtered.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dropping to $350, do not buy in any dead cat bounces on: August 21, 2014, 09:59:50 AM
We barely touch 310 two days ago, and now the price is going back up to $515.

That prove there are still a lot of sleeping whale willing to buy bitcoin at discount comparing to mining.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still great time to sell litecoin and bitcoin. on: August 21, 2014, 09:56:57 AM
whats up? Smiley

Huge price increase. Still over 90% down from peak.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin still 300% of the Price 1 Year ago. on: August 20, 2014, 12:22:40 PM
Plenty of pull back left to go to weed out the non-believer.

What will remain is the true believer who will hoard the coin till the end of time.
