Ok, thanks! I'll have it run on a better Raspberry Pi first, so I can check the data growth and stuff. But sooner or later I'll want the fullnode be running 24/7 on a device I'll use for nothing else.
Great  I have a laptop ready to run as a full node, but I'm pretty sure (from whitepaper) that PoP requires a static IP, which I don't have, so I will try to maybe run the PoS and PoP on seperate systems. |

Should it be possible to run a fullnode including PoS and PoP at the same time on a Raspberry Pi with very poor hardware specs? Let's say on a Model B+ with a single core CPU @ 700MHz and 512MB RAM?
Im pretty sure that the free harddrive space is the important part to make the most out of it. kalipo Yes from what we know so far, you should be able to run it on a Raspberry Pi if you add some storage. That said we havent gotten final confirmation on the minimum requirements. Just FYI, kalipo pointed out to me that the PoP part of the calculation from earlier is incorrect. So only the PoS parts should be accurate. PoP is different, so we should find out how it will work and how many rewards a hallmarked node will get later. |

For those people interested in the future of HEAT (long term hodlers), and looking to earn a passive 24/7 income:

3456 blocks per day. PoS reward = 4, PoP reward = 4 (for the first year)
Example: if one holds 50 000 HEAT and ALL 25 million HEAT is working for the network (which is not going to happen, so one should earn more than this estimate)
50 000 / 25 000 000 = 0.002
0.002 * 3456 blocks =~ 7
7 blocks per day * 4 reward = 28 HEAT per day
I think this is considering only PoS rewards, so if one is performing PoS + PoP, I believe this 28 heat per day would be double. Please correct me if this is incorrect.
= 56 HEAT per day with 50 000 HEAT hodling and helping the network.
At ICO stage 1 price = 0.0001000 btc / heat
56 heat * 0.0001 btc/heat = 0.0056 btc/heat
At a exchange price of 700 USD per btc:
56 heat = 4 USD per day 24/7
Per 30 day period at ICO stage 1 price = 120 USD reward = 1680 HEAT

Now, let's say HEAT marketcap goes to 10 million USD at BTC = 700 USD :
1 HEAT = 0.4 USD
56 HEAT per day = 22.4 $
22.4 * 30 = 672 USD per month!

Now, let's say HEAT marketcap goes to the same as WAVES (which HEAT has some similar but Better capabilities than WAVES):
As of today ~ 35 million marketcap for WAVES:
1 HEAT = 1.4 $
56 HEAT per day = 78.4 $
78.4 * 30 =2352 USD per month!

Not much of a tech guy myself so i can't really evaluate the way you're doing things but i've been in crypto since 2013 and if you deliver on the promises i can guarantee HEAT is going to be amazing! Trying to claim ICO but Electrum wallet refuses to send the verification payment labelling it "dust".
Can anyone help?
I used electrum to do the transfer. Maybe could it be because your putting : 0.00005 mBTC (Electrum is default in mBTC) I remember 0.00005 btc is the transfer amount required for ICO verification. In electrum it should be: 0.05 mbtc, and remember to pay a reasonable transaction fee. |

How do I see that I have received my coins? just these test coins received even if I have claimed my coins already.
Please do this to verify your ICO address is confirmed and connected to your HEAT account. You will receive real HEAT once genesis is launched. Try to do the following:
1. Login to your HEAT wallet
2. Click "CLAIM YOUR HEAT"
3. Select ICO source
4. Insert your address
5. Click "Continue"
6. Check off "I have safely backed up my passphrase"
7. Click "Continue"
8. Now it should show you the addresses which are confirmed to your account.

can heat get listed on bittrex or poloniex, please?
Its not possible as it not launced yet. Once its launched its up to the exchanges if they want to add HEAT. Devs have stated that it isnt their priority at launch. Someone claiming to know the owner of Polo said that they found HEAT interesting, and Bittrex seems to add most coins with some decent backing. No way of knowing who it turns out. My guess is that Bittrex will add HEAT within a month of launch. Not really sure HEAT has the hype that Polo usually goes for. I think you are talking here alot of Bullshit. Please stop. It will be very important for the project to get the right amount of recognition for all the business they want to do in crypto. If there are any ICOs, they will want to know if heat is traded on a liquid market. Therefor again please get heat listed on bittrex or poloniex once the network goes live. Lets have a straight going public campaign. I don't want to create hype, since I don't think HEAT needs to be hyped, we need results and delivery. That aside, I think it would be great to have at least Bittrex listed for HEAT. It is possible now to verify your ICO addresses used in the HEAT ICO. Pre-genesis is trade-able on c-cex and alcurex for now. What is the PIN used for which I entered when creating a HEAT account? When you create an account, backup your secret phrase, and choose a 5 number pin, then click 'Add'. Afterwards, you can login to your existing account from the dropdown menu using the 5 number pin. |
