Thanks BioMike, got the qt wallet working now

Is there a linux qt wallet available? I downloaded sources on the website, and after: ./autogen ./configure make sudo make install I don't see any qt wallet in the directory? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. You can find a .deb file here: https://github.com/aurarad/Auroracoin/releases. Let us know if that works for you. I haven't tried the QT compile on linux, but I know BioMike has. He might be able to lend some knowledge on how the QT compile worked for him. -Fuse For the deb I get in my Software Center: Dependency is not satisfiable: libdb4.8++ I installed libdb5.1++-dev but libdb4.8++ is not available. Any ideas? I can run the windows wallet in my dual boot setup, but I would prefer to run the linux wallet.

Sorry if this question has been asked: Why is there 101 delegates? Wouldn't it be more decentralised with 1001 delegates for instance? I'm running a node for a delegate on testnet right now, my proposal is at: https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=195The chat in lisk seems to have turned into a voting fest, so I'm a little cautious to participate, although I also want to help vote people I think are valuable as delegates and get voted for too as I want to spend profits on Dapp development to help lisk. I think it would be better to have more than just 101 delegates, since this is pretty centralized in my opinion. What do you guys think? Have a nice day! proto

Does the staking period of 5% end, since there is a maximum of 22 million BTCD ? What happens after staking period of 5 % ends?

Wow, 100 btc buy order at 0.0025 for btcd on bittrex

Great article about SuperNet: The role BTCD and BTC will play in Iguana: "I think the BTC chain can be relied upon to be the most secure for the forseeable future, so think in terms of hierarchy. Things like ownership amounts we want as secure as possible. But it is slow, so we use BTC for longer term changes and a faster chain like BTCD for shorter term changes and offchain for realtime things like poker. http://coremedia.info/index.php/bitcoin-2-0/item/229-supernet-weekly-no1Thanks for the link, good read. Look forward to the future of BTCD. Seems to be one of the most undervalued coins right now on the market.

What sort of innovation does STEPS bring? I looked at the OP, but nothing stands out as anything that special. Curious why should I buy STEPS?

I am guessing that: 1 Wj2MohNY... 90,431.0 WARP 8.25 % 5 hours 2 WWPgUKpU... 81,896.4 WARP 7.47 % 12 hours 40 minutes Are exchange wallets?
Almost certainly the Bittrex and Yobit wallets...... almost certainly. These are not exchange wallets! They have been staking. Also, the top number 1 I just noticed if you click on it, it has 0 WARP now. If you look at number 2, they just sent 75k away as well. Though this doesn't mean they are selling for sure, it could mean they split up the warp into smaller addresses.

What the hell, why is the slack deleted?
Shapetwist got mad and deleted slack, as far as I can see. I'm kind of disappointed. I really liked the community we had going. I sold a bunch of coins, and I was one of the top holders, so hopefully that helps the distribution. I'm now a medium sized fish in a big ocean of WARP. Yeah - I think he got pissed off at the discussion however he can only answer that as I only got through reading midway through. I know the gist of it was that there were too many early adopters holding over 50% of the coin and he wanted it spread out a bit more. As I said I started with 27,000 and am now at 22,000 and will drop 3,000 more in the next day or two. I hope it goes to new hands. He got mad because some people have too many coins, so he deleted the slack? Do I understand this right? Basically. I have now ~ 15000 WARP for the record. That puts me at around number 25 on the richlist. I hope this makes some people happy I'm no longer in the top 5. For those in the top 10, try to sell a portion of your holdings, take some profit, and help the distribution out. It will help the future of this coin alot. I hope you can do it.

Will there be a wallet to hold ELC ? When is the launch date?
It says on your website: 9.10 % of all coins distributed. If no more people buy ELC, what will happen to the other 90.9 % of coins? Burned?
What is the maximum number of ELC that will exist?
|
|
|
Also watching, looks nice!

only approx 1 mil coins?
1 094 500 were released from the crowdsale. Only a max of 1 618 000 will exist I believe (golden ratio).
|
|
|
What will be the price of the first crowd sale?
We plan it to be 0.00001 BTC So you hope to raise 1000 BTC ? That sounds like quite alot! Will funds be used for development? What happens if not all the 100 000 000 coins gets sold? Will they be burned?

Someone keeps crashing price to 26-28K level at Bittrex, which in turn results in panic sell.
It will rise up again, buy low right?

Furthermore, there are other things happening with WARP, besides the VPN feature. As you might have heard, I suggested the creation of a WARP foundation, that would pick a few members of the community to form a board. We need to make hard decisions in the near future, and I'd love to count with the community's opinion. To get a place on this board, I have suggested the creation of an asset, that can be bought with WARP. However, asset holdings are not the only criteria to join. We prefer long term holders, active and contributing ones. This is a short term idea to implement.
Another one is the creation of a WARP side-chain with an interesting algo - that can attract miners too. This is a more delicate idea, and I would love to hear some thoughts on it.
I think the community would need more information about the asset itself, what would be the purpose or benefit of holding it in the first place ? Although I think a WARP foundation sounds like an interesting idea to help push WARP further. Again, it would be good to know more information about what this WARP side-chain would do? How would it benefit WARP holders?

Someone sold 320 and 573 WARPs at around 52.2K.........why would someone do that?
Whatever reason that person had, I'm happy with the coins he sold me below 50k sats Good for you! Hold onto your WARP, it will get to 1$ a coin and more, I'm sure of it.
