It would have been nice if you could have bought WARP from the crowdsale, but it's over now. Have to wait for an exchange to add. Check out Warp though, it's quality. Edit: WARP just got added to an exchange this morning. https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=WARP/BTC

It's crazy how fast things are moving around here. Everyone should get on the WARPtrain asap.

For those looking for a Warp buyer, I have already found a better offer from a member of this forum. Thanks for submitting your offers via PM. If I will buy more, I will make a request again in this thread. Now that I have some Warp, time to stack them for the future. Does anybody know what is the minimum Warp needed for staking? And also, when does Warp become mature for stakes? No minimum warp to stake, you should be able to stake with whatever you have. The time is 8 hours until it's mature enough to stake.

Very few people are actualy staking, I just got my first PoS block in few minutes since wallet unlock and I have less than 4,000 WARP total. Netstakeweigth is realy low as well as PoS difficulty. At http://84.200.4.70:3001/richlist top 10 addresses created only 8 PoS blocks so far! Other than that things work smoothly on my side (Win7). The block explorer doesn't show all the blocks that have been staked. It's more than 8. I'm in the top 10, and I have staked 10 blocks myself so far.

Today I received the hardware wallet I ordered to safely store the coins from crowdfunding.
I have to set it up, and once done, a major piece of the sale will be there, in cold storage.
Until then, the sale wallet is protected by 2 2FA. Will publish addresses once all is set up.
Good to hear! Thanks shapetwist.

Looks like a really promising coin!
It is indeed.

Nice work shapetwist with the quick distribution of all the warp, received mine not too long after the sale ended just annoyed I wasn't able to buy more. Happy staking to all the buyers aswell... It would be great if warp wasn't immediately listed on any exchanges until after the V2 wallet was released even with just some of the features. Saying that if it does get listed and some people are silly enough to dump their warp cheap I won't hesitate to buy it up. Good luck all... I don't mind waiting either personally, but people need exchanges so that they can buy coins too, not just sell. If someone missed the crowdfund and wants to buy WARP they can't unless it's on an exchange.

Glad to be in this from the start Get some rest, you deserve it.

Coins received, great! Me too! Sweet!

When will the presale coins be distributed? Tomorrow as well?
Regards Goldmaxx
Well, Its currently 11:48 CST. So as per the crowdsale conditions I would assume somewhere around 12 hours. I think I heard that it will be 1 hour after 12, an hour to check the blockchain and all transactions, then the distribution will commence.

* And by the way, this project was self funded so far. I don't intend to earn anything directly from the crowdfunding. Funding will allow to develop apps and services that generate value.
You don't intend to earn anything directly from crowdfunding? Did you change your mind and now you want some? Just curious. Correct. I didn't change my mind and now want some. The funds won't go to my pocket, I won't profit from it. I invested btc in the project like you guys, because I believed it would be successful and that would be funded to continue development. Are you saying that I can't use funds to pay for stuff that was already developed? So I'm losing here. Remember, I don't have WARP. You are buying WARP. Thanks for the clarification. I hope you can buy a nice sum of WARP so that you can continue development when the price starts to rise. It needs to get on exchanges first though. I was wrong before about some of my comments in this thread. Goodluck @shapetwist, I hope tomorrow goes well, and that there is a bright future ahead for WARP and it's community. Get some WARP while you can ! https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/launch?iso=20160128T12&p0=16&msg=WARP+End+of+sale&font=sanserif&csz=1

Important information:
The block time is 1 min. It takes 30 confirmations for coins to mature.
Staking is set as default. Once you receive your coins they will mature and start staking, generating you interest. Since having coins at stake will not allow you to spend them, you can reserve an amount of spendable coins - coins that avoid being staked.
It is very important that you let stake at least part of your stash. This is what makes the chain going. We don't want the chain to get stuck. My advice is that you set an amount of spendable coins by going to Options > Reserve. And let the rest stake, contributing to the network. The amount of interest you will receive is proportional to the amount of coins that you stake. That calculates your weight within the network. Please let me know if you have doubts.
Could you post that information in the OP @shapetwist ? (30 confirmations for coins to mature)

Hey so for people that don't know, I've started to move the WARP chain so all wallets do sync now.
I've made a staking test too, which resulted in 601.30386127 WARP being generated.
I'm willing to destroy these coins or donate them. Would like to hear people's opinions about this.
I say destroy them so the initial plan works! You could destroy them, or you could donate them to be a faucet for warp? What do people think about having a warp faucet with the 601.30386127 WARP as it's base? If they are destroyed, I'm sure some people will donate to a faucet anyways.

Yeah, sounds legit. Also I think the problem is if you get coins for free, often they are just dumped at the exchanges. If it costs you value from the begin, like the crowdsale here or think about IOTA crowdsale, the community cares more about it, because they have invested real money and not just some clicks.
Good luck!
Yeah, the thing is that I'm not "buying" any WARP from the sale. Like you say, it would be for free. I won't have any coins to dump. So it makes sense to me that I recover a bit of the money and time invested so far. It's not like charity or something! I hope this is clear and that you agree. How much of the crowdsale funds will you use to 'recover a bit of the money and time invested so far', and how much will be towards further development? I'm not sure, haven't made calculations yet on how much it was spent. Not looking to fully cover it either, but it would be fair to get some back or not? Maybe I can ask what you guys think? I don't mind you recovering some - however I would like to see some transparency when the time comes. Also, I would like to see a significant supply of Warp in your wallet. This sounds reasonable. If you take btc from the crowdfunding to just go buy WARP off the market, isn't that the same as getting warp for free? Then you might as well join the crowdfunding with your btc now, and recover that btc after by taking it from the crowdsale. I want to see you have a good amount of warp in your wallet too. Gives some confidence that you will continue to work on it for the sake of your WARP.
