41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We're developing a brand new/better coin, and we want you to join us on: December 08, 2014, 10:12:50 PM
Hello I made a post a while back asking if anyone wanted to make a new coin with me. Since then I have found others with similar views. I am here asking to see if anyone else is interested in joining. We have already put this coin into development. We have implemented new features that no other coin has. If you want to be a part of something great message me. Post any suggestions that you may have.

A new coin needs:
- A dedicated development team
- Enough supporters
- Features to allow the coin to stand

What are those "new features that no other coin has", if I may ask?
Could you show some source code of the implemented new features, for some reputable member of this community?
Sorry, but I've heard similar statements as yours too many times here to give credit without proof.

We are in development still, we will not show these ideas till launch! Wink

It will be very, very difficult to make new crypto coin effective. Look what is going in the crypto market. Average Joe was working in a factory, then he makes his own "Joecoin" and thinks all is ok. Better think on something different Grin

I will try my best HeroCat! Smiley

What the fuck?

He coded for months, developed a smart contract program before anyone else, and kept it closed source from day one. People knew he was closed source and not for one company/coin/whatever. He chose Blackcoin because he believed in it, was a big investor, and still is... So he sold his program that he coded, what the fuck is the issue with that?

That is why bitbay is a scam? Are you fucking stupid? They paid for halo, allegedly. So fucking what.
They still are their own coin, with their own developments, and team, and they paid for a program for part of that. How is that wrong?

I'll gladly answer that.

What is wrong is that, since the get go, he was put forward as the "Lead developer" and since he (privately) protested for such denomination, he was then referred to as "Project Manager" and, subsequently, "Lead coder". THE PROBLEM though is that there's no other name, let alone real name, being made public but his. And 100% of people investing in BAY consider -in a huge part because he allows that to happen- that Zimbeck is indeed BAY, not a guy whose software is bought and who is supposed to code a couple of additional features but whose commitment is limited at that. Zimbeck delivers the software, BTER releases the final 33% and that's the end of the story. And he has chosen, inexplicably, not to set the record straight on the official thread... although he has made it abundantly clear in other threads. That's HIS choosing. And that  is WRONG, because it is misleading and because it willingly lends his name to a scam. And HE knows it, so he is an accomplice in it, a fully willful accomplice.

Barabbas, I bet if you were paid to start FUD about Bitcoin, you would..... We all know you are paid to start FUD so that your "Boss" can buy cheap coins and make a few bucks off you embarrassing your self. Do not go on this site for 14 days cause you are grounded.... If you want to act like a child, I will treat you like one.

The developers will get their share of pay, but I don't want the developers to dump lol.... I want the coin to last and actually go somewhere in this world.

that implies a dev is willing to work for premine of a coin that they could just make and keep all of. :/

I don't know if I will make my coin mineable, but if i hold 1% of my coin, that money will be used all for bounties. I will also setup a whole document that will be viewable so people can see were the money goes. (Blockchain links will be in the document.)

And what are you going to do once that 1% is used up?

Well I will use the 1% wisely for sure, but if it gets used up, then I will just have to pay out of my pocket then.... Getting started is the hardest part...

I think you should work with an existing Coin, maybe BlackCoin or ReddCoin? You should get to know the Blockchain and develop your plan a little more otherwise you might also end up using a lot of your own money with it if there is some big security hole and suddenly you can't access your Coins.

I know how this stuff works my friend, I got this taken care of! Trust me!

The problem is that many of us have heard claims like yours before. Have this great idea but need someone with the skills to back it up. The person making claims like that usually has no real idea how much work is actually needed to implement those ideas.

I dont mean to have a dig at you OP but most competent dev's are going to want payment in btc and depending on the job you maybe required to fund it out of your own pocket before the coin even launches.

I really like the feedback, thank you. People can say what they want, I have proven a lot of people in the past wrong and hopefully with my future coin I plan to develop, I can prove some people wrong. Please if you have doubt in me, please tell me why so I cannot make this mistake! I want the feedback! I want you to tell me I cannot develop a successful coin, but please leave a reason.

Anyways, if anyone is looking to join a serious development team, join us! We are going to go strong and show this world a thing or two! We are going to show them and soar! Literally soar!!!!!!!!!!! Shoot me a PM if you are interested!

Lol skype conversation with yourself won't prove anything mate.

Myself? I would take a pic of the whole Skype window, but I am not going to share Davids Skype.... I am just trying to help a friend out..... Don't give me a hard time...
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THOSE BAY FAQs... on: December 06, 2014, 10:04:30 PM
Guys leave David, the BitBay developers, and the Blackcoin Developers alone. I personally know David and he is a very smart and truthful guy!

Just to prove how good of a guy David is, here is a screen cap of Skype... Stop causing FUD, it's getting very bad.... Go make your own coin so I can start some FUD for it... Thanks!

This does not address my concerns... In fact any time you bring a problem up with bit bay people either

a) attack you or
b) do a red herring which is what your doing

No man I am not distracting anyone from the truth. What you are doing is inhumane and just plain out disgusting. You make me sick.

Guys I am not backing up David just because I have money in BitBay either, I will personally take a picture of how much coins I even have, I think its like $20 worth. I am helping a friend out, cause thats what friends do! Stay off his back

when I get answers I will, till then it will keep going and going like the energizer bunny. Wait till I get Gleb Glablow and Lambchop on this then you will really have your hands full.

My hands full? I am out of this... I just wanted to help a friend out, there is nothing wrong with doing that. I just think its plain out inhumane that you released all that info about David and his family. Thats really sick and creepy man...

If you are looking to create a coin, just join my development team. Right now we have the dedicated servers, we have the hook up for ICO, we have the logo, we have the backup, we have a site in-progress, and we have state-wide backup. I don't want to go into too much detail because I don't want someone stealing my valuable ideas, but yeah, we are all set and ready to go.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we get more money to flow into altcoins? on: December 06, 2014, 09:16:01 PM
Its honestly the people. Look at BitBay and Gaiacoin. These are two coins that are actually being developed! I am starting to hop on the nem train also.... Open your eyes people, FUD is what kills..... Scammers also....

You are going to have to pay people if you want help, you won't get much help otherwise.

Is that what the world has come down too?

It's what the world has always been about, what is the incentive to do work on your Coin if you could already do it all yourself and get paid better elsewhere?

Well its like damn, everyone hates premine so its like wtf? How are coins suppose to start then? Its ridiculous lol, there is nothing wrong with a small pre-mine lol.... Its to start the coin out you fools. I have no problem paying people in the coin I want to make....

The coin might have a custom algorithm, i dont know yet. I wanna talk specs and map out the coin before we start building. I want to do it right and legit. I think I will implement this coin into my non-profit organization also.

If you are interested please come and help! No we will not pay, but you could make profit off the coin by investing or mining!  Smiley We will also have bounties most likely Smiley
