where does it get the price from? Many Thanks I believe it retrieves it from C-Cex currently. I have tested their Android app, works great!  I would recommend you add the option to choose what pairs to display in your Cryptonator Widget. |

Bittrex will be adding Webcoin (Richie loves it when you guys tweet on twitter @BittrexExchange and tag @webcoinx14) @ Those that want a new logo, feel free to just post your ideas, if it gets enough community support I would be happy to change it. BLOCK REWARD HALVES FROM 200 WEB TO 100 WEB in less than 400 blocks! Hi do you think many people will continue to mine below 100. i will mine as long as possible. what was the point of below 20 or even 1 reward per block this late in the game. were you hoping it will get to 0.01 btc...i hope so  . Mates , which speeds do you reach with R9 280X
Hey webcoinx14, I'm also curious. Do you have any benchmarks? Thanks I do not unfortunately I do not own an R9 280X...I am curious to know anyways just to compare hashrates with other algos. Can anyone post test results? Thanks! |

screw this dev... I wish i knew it was him last night before i bought.. i'm taking a 40% loss to get away from this slime, not giving him another chance to cost me money, like he did on nebula.
He just premines (and sometimes tries to hide it, like nebula) and then dumps it.. he admitted it himself. This guy is a top tier scumbag.. everyone should stay away from this child's coins.

Still at 500.
Yes it is current set to a static variable rather than the actual block reward. I will be updating this in a coming update |

Carsen, remember its how you respond to the inevitable FUD. This is expected. You've done a good job so far. Keep the high road.
To everybody else that is skeptical. I was involved in DreamCoin, and lost a bunch of money. And his reputation sure isnt the best in the community. But the fact that he is being extremely transparent and actually gave that list of coin launches, deserves a bit of respect imo. Any coin is a gamble, nobody is forcing you to invest. I believe this coin is a chance for him to redeem himself.
Yes, FUD is excepted from some, some just do not understand while others do. I am redeeming my name, I am not going to let anyone down, Webcoin is my best coin to date and it is good to see everyone is getting better hashrates then X13 and better heat consumption than X15 with the new X14 algo. Would you list all the coins you launched so far?
Yes of course: My entry to the crypto-world in order is: Timecoin (Scrypt based, terrible clone) Matrixcoin (Sha256 based, terrible clone) Hashcoin (X11 based, first animated logo, DGW V3, coin ended up forking due to no one updating to the latest wallet from all the FUD, coin could still work) Dreamcoin (X11 based first PoW/PoS crypto I created, HUGE amount of FUD with threats, so I removed the coin to hurt the community because I was hurt, which was wrong, looks like community took it over though, still working) Nebulacoin (X13 based PoW/PoS, Still lives on to this day) Techcoin (X13 based PoW/PoS, Still lives on to this day, looks like the community is taking it over, fixing block times (it was too slow)). Firecoin (X15 based first PoW/PoS, block times were faster, smoother launch, FUD killed it) Isiscoin (X15 based PoW/PoS, smooth launch, hit Mintpal second day of ninja launch (No bribes were made), Premine was dumped before we hit Mintpal (which a lot of people thought i dumped on mintpal, I did not), HUGE FUD followed, along with government talk of Isiscoin, Death Threats, etc. Bad choice of name and bad launch date made me remove this coin, also because I do not support terrorism and that is what people were thinking. Just overall bad ideas on my end, My intention was the Egyptian god ISIS but as you all know, people twist things around) Webcoin (X14 PoW/PoS, By far my best coin ever, Extremely stable, Smooth launch, Fair distribution) Any other coin is not made by me, these are the only coins I have worked on. Great transparency. Look Carsen, I know youve probably learned a lot with all these coin launches, but you really have to pick a coin and just put all your energy into it. If price tanks or fud gets in the way, you cant give up and jump to release a new coin. Dumps and Fud are inevitable, its going to happen...how you respond as a lead dev is what matters. Every coin, scam or real goes through the dump and fud stage. Just focus on this coin, and make it happen. Stay persistent and keep working. Also I would suggest getting a team behind you. All the succesful coins have a succesful team, and not just one single developer. Build a team as you build the coin, including freelance devs who help with certain features, community managers, social media, PR managers, etc. Yes I have learned a lot, I will be sticking to Webcoin, I do have some potential devs to join the "WEB" team This will be in due time though, right now we are still very young and do have a long-life ahead of us. Keep up the support, I really appreciate it! I will ensure you all are successful, I won't leave any of you behind. Lets start the new trend for X14 with Webcoin as well, I am sure many coins will look up to us.
