41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ZERGPOOL.com - NEW! Multialgo, multicoin, autoexchange, 0% fee! on: January 22, 2018, 11:17:17 PM
Still monitoring....

Can my script include a c=BTC at the end of a btc address... just makes my life easier when it's time to add you

Also, retired Alexis in newest update and now running with Tpruvot HSR Alexis on most algos... better come check your Sniffdog...I'm letting all the pools with Sniffdog know...

links are below

Very good, I will look into this. Currently my pool is customized a bit differently, giving more flexibility when it comes to mining. (e.g. you can have it both auto-exchange and direct mining).

I will have to update stratum a bit to support c=BTC. At the moment it will first regiter your address as BTC, and afterwards will try to mine exactly BTC Smiley

I know how to do it, I just need a time. I think I will leave c=BTC as on other pools to identify payout wallet, and will introduce mc=SYMBOL(mc will stand for mining coin) to target some particular coin.

Now I need some sleep, see you folks!

Sounds good keep up the good work! and Peace!.... Sniffdog out

@palgin....

our Wrapper for hsrminer will not work for those users who do not have Windows in U.S English setting....

Our wrapper will detect the hashrate but places a comma instead of a period for those without the Window's settings

Gotta love the financial institution!

I will add you to SniffDog for next release when you get all the bugs out. Good luck and Happy Mining! Wink

These miner links below will always have Sp-Mod files dormant for those of you who wish to add your paid Sp Ccminers....

Happy Mining!

Every time I use a BTC address for zpool it shows up as BCH and gives me the warning.

"We are short of this currency (4.83107564 BCH). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more BCH blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for BCH despite this warning."

I am using sniffdog and the addresses show as BTC for all the other mining pools except zpool.  Any clue how to fix this?

I dunno what "sniffdog" is - must be someone's dev-fee-sucking gui wrapper around the semi-standard free tools...

Try running ccminer manually, from a command prompt, and enter in a FRESH BTC address that ZPool has never seen before, and specify the payout type explicitly as BTC

something like:
ccminer-x64.exe --algo X17 --url=stratum+tcp://x17.mine.zpool.ca:3737 --user=FRESH_BITCOIN_ADDRESS --pass c=BTC

let it run for 5-10 minutes, then go look at the wallet for the BTC address you used.  This should convince ZPool that its a BTC address and not something else.  If this brand-new one is ALSO showing up as BCH, then I dunno what to tell you...

Actually no dev free except for EWBF.... and donations are an option (not embedded)

Some have forked and made their own versions and placed Sniffdog at their own pools... I can tell you... my Sniffdog... does not change it's Password Currency when switching pools

Happy New Year!

Due to lack of interest and hash power, we've dropped the $XZC lyra2z pool.

Thanks I have been mining lyra2h lately with cpuminer and I believe there is a ccminer as well but  lyra2h ccminer runs like yescrypt on ccminer (khs)

Note this is for newer miners who have issues with setting up algo switching or are just lazy.

zPool Miner Alpha version 1.8.1.5

Mines for us 12 min every 12 hrs for our work but is fully open source still.

https://github.com/Cryptominer937/zPoolMiner/releases

Version allows all payout coins except BCH as it interferes with the Dev Fee.

Next release will include more algos

Original Codebase credit to Nicehash Now modified for use on zPool.

omg thank you so much for placing this into the public GitHub!

No problem, why wouldn't I put it in public when I built in a way to disable the devfee all people have to do is find the launch parameter to add to a shortcut.

Well for one... I'm not in trouble for distribution since it was placed for all the public to see...

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: cpuminer-opt v3.7.7, open source optimized multi-algo CPU miner on: December 22, 2017, 03:06:59 AM
Fantastic miner!

Added to Sniffdog default sse2

Hi  I am running sniffdog currently for my GPU,
can you tell me how to use this miner also in Sniffdog?
Do I have to run 2 sniffdogs on my PC? One for CPU and one for GPU?

Nope! All in the same startsniffin.bat and you will need to download the latest version of Sniffdog

I already have the 2.8A version installed and running
Where are the CPU executables?

All I see are these subdirectories:
NVIDIA-Alexis
NVIDIA-KlausT
NVIDIA-Palgin
NVIDIA-TPruvot

I do not see them anywhere??

Sniffdog 3.0 is the latest version and with all the new updates and bug fixes. Link is below

Bugs?
1. Trying out Sniffdog 3.0 and I don't even see yescrypt (cpuminer-opt) listed as Benchmarked (inactive list after it's done).  Did it even run?

2. It keeps downloading Excavator.  I think I see why.

ExcavatorNvidia.ps1:
Code:
$Path = ".\Bin\Excavator\excavator.exe"

Actual path:
Code:
$Path = ".\Bin\Excavator\excavator\excavator.exe"

There's another "excavator" directory after it's extracted.

Questions:
1. Are you able to get it to mine with both GPU and CPU at the same time?  In my experience, both can be mining at the same time without affecting each other's performance (or if they do, it's negligible).

2. Can you also add M7M and enable XEVAN for cpuminer-opt?  Those algos are pretty good for CPU mining and supported in at least 3 of the pools (zpool, ahash, and hash).

Yes.... add yescrypt to startsniffin.bat

Excavator is a manual movement on your part to move it back one folder....please read the notes

Also, updated to 3.1... added ethereum/siacoin Claymore miner... opened decred in tpruvot Ccminer and added three more algo's (yescrypt,decred, and ethash) to startsniffin.bat and updated klaust 8.17

EDIT: Yes you are right about the constant downloading of excavator... I turned off all algo's in the ExcavatorNvidia.ps1 in the Miners folder and added more to info....

Thank you for showing me this Smiley We do not want to make it easy to get excavator running but yet have it for the more advanced users

Ah, yes, I did miss the note about Excavator.  I enabled it - it's actually faster than whatever ccminer-based the algos previously used.

Any plans on adding m7m and xevan mining on cpuminer-opt?  Would be great to be able to auto-switch between pools and cpu-based algos as well.

Out of all the auto-switching scripts, this is the most complete I've come across.  Thanks. Smiley

if there was a pool open with m7m I would, Also tried with xevan and Sniffdog just deleted the algo from the cpu cause no shares were found

Yes thank you. After numerous patches... it's ready for more

I'm very excited in the new year to try JayDDee cpuminer....like a kid in a candy store

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: December 19, 2017, 12:14:06 AM
Hi Guys,

Thanks Nemo for his awesome work.  Been using it on my mining rigs for 2 days and really love it.   I also use it to mine on my personal day to day rig as well.

And I've got just a little issue only with my personal rig that... when I'm playing the game on the first GPU and let the second one mining .  The game just seems like... lost the focus and return to windows whenever there is a profit switching done by Nemosminer.  Is there anyway to prevent this to happen.

Thanks in advance for the help.  :-)

I do like playing World of Warcraft so I use nemo 1.7.6. This works perfect if you have two cards Wink

Thanks!

Are you going to have a thread dedicated to your script?  Been using it for a few days and love it for the pool switching.  Any plans on adding cryptonight?

Yes just add it to your startsniffin.bat and increase the interval a bit (from 90)... only picks up Monroe

Thanks again.  Worked like a treat.  Any plans on creating a thread in bitcointalk for your Sniffindog script?

Perhaps if I get some help answering questions...

In the meantime you can find me under the issues tab at GitHub Smiley

No need to remove keccak.

Go to the Pools folder and edit the zpool.ps1 (and zpool24hr.ps1) file(s).

This works for NemosMiner and Sniffdogminer (and others based off the same script).

Find the line "switch($Zpool_Algorithm)" and add the line " "keccak"{$Divisor *= 1000} ".

See example:

Code:
switch($Zpool_Algorithm)
    {
        "equihash"{$Divisor /= 1000}
        "blake2s"{$Divisor *= 1000}
        "blakecoin"{$Divisor *= 1000}
        "decred"{$Divisor *= 1000}
        "keccak"{$Divisor *= 1000}
    }

No I took it off because that's not the algo's I have been watching lately Wink

Also the stratum diff is out as well...but I'll keep on adding them to zpool's

        "equihash"{$Divisor /= 1000}
        "blake2s"{$Divisor *= 1000}
       "blakecoin"{$Divisor *= 1000}
        "decred"{$Divisor *= 1000}
       "x11"{$Divisor *= 100}
        "keccak"{$Divisor *= 1000}

Thanks!

Whoa Zpool.....woke up this morning to see keccak at 3,000usd and my rigs were pumping at your site but with no diff adjusts happening...

I verified... when I moved all keccak mining from Sniffdog to another pool (with the diff's working) and noticed even the numbers are different on profit! ie: It's still reading your api but mining elsewhere and profit is much lower

please fix soon!

Fromage - great application you have there - thanks! my statements come from use of your application on my test rig, and pointing my larger rigs there using linux/ccminer concurs with your results (stated above)

Thank you and Happy Holidays! I'm still waiting on EWBF 0.3.4c to enter the ring. Hopefully soon!

Removed Keccak from my test rig as well Smiley

Wishing you all the best gruntbull!
