Using stolen hardware:

Minersource is falsely claiming that we have not shipped ordered merchandise while in fact they have stolen $1050000 from us through fraud.

The last package has been obtained through defrauding our customer support department. The stolen merchandise is with Bitcoin Affiliate Network in Las Vegas, Nevada. They are aware that the merchandise is stolen yet they ignore communications with us. We are in discussion with the Police.

Come on s0br/ThePhwner & all your fake alises - bring it on. Tell me I was wrong  Roll Eyes

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING THIEVING LYING POOL!!!

You want me to believe Black Arrow?

Normally, no. This checks out though, follow the link supplied by them - here's the delivery confirmation, signed for by J Kerrigan - & I know who that person is  Wink

  This FedEx receipt means nothing!

That's for s0br to prove. He can do that any time he wants then can't he........

Please don't call me noob...

But you are a noob - it says so on your profile  Roll Eyes

I will continue to post proof & quotes until s0br crawls out of his cave & gives answers/explanations & proof that I'm wrong - & seeing as that didn't happen for 5 months now, you'll just have to get used to it.

You can get help on the IRC if needed......

Thanks noob, but screw irc.

This forum is here to promote openness & transparency, something that s0br claims to be a flag bearer of - yet he didn't post here for over 3 months. Plus he went AWOL for 2 months after disappearing from the scam thread. Why is that do you think?  Roll Eyes
43  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 12:35:28 PM
Actually, it is a good idea - maybe it will coax your transparent & invisible OP s0br out of hiding so that he can answer everyone's questions - don't you think?  Wink

Miners have every right to be able to question a public pool OP on a public forum as to why their earnings do not equate to the promised & advertised rate. The OP of this pool has a "colourful" past on this forum to say the least, so miners are correct to question his ethics. S0br logs on to this forum frequently, he was last active on February 12, 2015, 01:36:11 (yesterday) - and yet his last post on this, his own pool thread, was on November 11, 2014, 01:54:18 PM - that's over 3 months ago.
That alone is a massive red flag, as no serious & reputable pool OP would leave it more than a few days without posting on his own pool thread even if there was nothing of any importance to say, which absolutely can't be said of this pool.

Damn those meddling kids....... Wink

Miners on BAN - s0br is scamming you & has been doing so long before I opened a scam accusation against him last year. YOU ARE LOSING YOUR HARD EARNED BTC!!!!

When leaving this pool, please ensure that you leave negative feedback on the profiles of both s0br & ThePhwner to warn others & ensure that no other miners will be ripped off by this lying, thieving & scamming pool!!

Always research any future pool you intend to use to ensure that you are trusting a reputable pool operator & admin.

Good luck!!  Grin

I'm no hater - I just think it's scandalous that people let s0br get away with stealing, lying & scamming miners. As should everyone. Speaking of scamming, here's another classic from their first thread:

Of course, if you're OK with losing over 7% of your earnings, zero support, lies, fake accounts, fake givaways, fake pictures, late payments, missing payments, etc, etc with no explanation whatsoever on a pool that is using stolen hardware - then by all means knock yourself out and mine here  Wink

Miners need to know what they are letting themselves in for here, especially noobs who don't know any better.

How is the 7.7% theft happening it's the first I've heard about this?

Scroll back 1 page - or check out the link to the scam thread I just posted above  Wink

s0br owes the miners that were not paid on time.

Yeah, going back the last 6 months...... Roll Eyes

Considering pool has found a few blocks last few days payouts have stopped 12 hours ago (to me anyway).

This surprises you?  Anyone who mines on this scam pool needs their head testing..........

I'm paid up to date again now last payout received was 15 minutes ago.

Good for you - one of the lucky ones, but double check your payout  Wink

Updated the scam thread with the latest 7.7% theft of miners income by s0br:

49  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BAN "Giveaway" Promotion Scam to Fake Users & stolen mining equipment. on: February 14, 2015, 11:31:31 AM
And the BAN scam goes on -  now s0br is stealing 7.7% of miners earnings, that's a nice slice of every miners pie.........will people never learn?

So ... what happened with this?
Someone earlier posted that they get transparent emails ... so I guess the emails explained it also?

I never got emails explaining anything.  I did finally get my payout yesterday (after 11 days without payouts).  It did indeed have 7.71% missing due to the difficulty adjustment near the end of those 11 days.  BAN wasn't doing partial payments during those 11 days but instead was picking and choosing who was paid, so not everyone took the 7.71% hit on as many days worth.

IMO, handling difficulty changes in PPS the way BAN does is not the brightest idea.  If there is another difficulty drop, before the drop anyone could set their payout for 24 hours and earn extra for nearly a day at the expense of the pool.  Likewise, always hop off and never let a payout cross an increase!  The pool can probably handle it though-- there are far more increases available to skim from those who do not know any better!

Edit: In fact, I'll collect all my posts about BAN & post them here for you if you like - would that make you happier?

What an excellent idea! I think I'll do the same........ Cheesy

Is it a good idea to mine here or not?  So much fighting.

I tried this pool out when it first started but stopped because of the late/missing/short payments. That was 6 months ago before they got caught scamming & creaming the top off of miners payouts - reading through this "New" thread (s0br locked the first one when the scam was exposed), it seems that nothing has changed. Getting support is impossible as the pool OP never posts here, although there are many shills/fake accounts who like to post on his behalf...... Roll Eyes

If I were you, I'd use a pool that has a cleaner reputation - it's just not worth the risk or hassle  Wink

Exactly. This is taken from their first locked thread, note the date:

If you browse through the first BAN thread, you will see many, many complaints like this. s0br has been ripping off miners since the start - that is why he doesn't post & is why he disappeared for 2 months before opening this "new" BAN thread, hoping the community had forgotten about his rip-off pool. You can read more about it here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=722202.msg8588793#msg8588793

Edit: At least they're only creaming 7.7 % off your earnings now - about half of what they were stealing..... Roll Eyes
53  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 12, 2015, 08:38:09 PM
According to their site, there are currently 1356 miners on BAN - so, 7.7% of all those miners income is stolen & goes where? That's a lot of btc to go missing every payday eh?

No, just liars, scammers & thieves. Doesn't everyone?
56  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 12, 2015, 06:27:59 PM
Don't expect to see any payments for the blocks your transparent, constantly posting pool owner s0br mined any time soon, at least not until he's lowered your owed payments again at least. You have to pay for his rentals so that he can pocket your hard earned btc remember?  Roll Eyes

Wise up ladies & gentlemen..........you are being screwed.

Which looks like outright theft to me

It is & it has been since day one I'm afraid......... Angry
59  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 09, 2015, 04:35:07 PM
I stopped mining here because the payouts just takes to long.
It has been over a week now, and now it has decreased in value.

Yup, that's how it goes here I'm afraid. Thank you for your mining donation to s0brs scam pool. Which ever pool you decide to go to, be sure to do a little research first to make sure you don't get screwed over again by other scammers.

LULZ - look who's back, the faker himself........

I can vouch for that fact that BAN paid Minersource for these units.

Go on then. Do what s0br has consistently failed to do & what I have consistently done - post documented proof.

What is it that's one-sided about posting documented evidence exactly? It beats your fake pictures you have a habit of uploading...... Roll Eyes

As long as you're verifying facts, its been well known that I resigned from BAN some time ago.

So what? Does that mean you are innocent all of a sudden? Why are you even posting for s0br if you don't work for him anyway - guilt? How's about s0br posting for himself for a change? After all, he's got some explaining to do, & you're not in a position to do so. Go hide back in your hole - faker.

Swear, swear, rant, swear etc, etc, blah blah........

Thank you for clarifying that you can't produce the documented proof requested. Again.

Your diuretic mish-mash clearly demonstrates to every BAN miner getting shafted by s0br that your "vouch" is worthless.
