41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating New Coin or Invest in ICO on: October 15, 2018, 09:18:16 AM
To be honest creating more and more ICO's itself is unhealthy for the crypto currency space. I mean it is just waste of the space really and making the investment very very dilute. When the ICO's started coming out for the first time then it was like huge boom, people used to look at the new coins as a chance of investing in newly formed bitcoin and were looking forward to get big returns from it. However, now a days its literally takes months to fulfil even the pre-sale and soft cap of an ICO sales. Thats bad, because people cant put money everywhere at the same time. Its disturbing the demand and supply maths and thus aint good really.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: October 05, 2018, 09:02:10 AM
Looks like the market is pretty much moving at the pace of snail. Its like we can have lot of chances this time to buy the desired coins and make profits out of them. We can choose many coins because :
1) They are in the worst bearish trend
2) Bear always follows big bull run with expected ATH prices for sure
3) Most of the coins are getting heavy volumes these days thus making sure the up rising soon.

Hence holding such coins can be great importance if everyone want to earn some good profits.  Wink
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 05, 2018, 05:59:04 AM
In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

I dont think so people are scared about using their credit cards and debit cards over the PayPal. Doesnt seem to me the case at all. Because thing is, PayPal is fiat based and its very popular as compared to the bitcoin itself. The service is trusted one and can not be missed or forgotten so easily. Also their payment solution is now available world wide with no single store left out of its portal. This means it is not replaceable at all and things once set in the globe are not replaceable by any other system so quickly. Bitcoin is not even known to half of the population for sure and most of them are not willing to even try it out. So I barely doubt that it will replace it.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: October 05, 2018, 04:03:08 AM
Quote
how is the condition of Kripro crypto that might occur?

Do you mean crypto ?

I am sure this will affect the crypto but only for troubled area and not the whole world. The earthquake disaster is always there but its not gonna happen all over the globe at the same time. Well we will loose control over the crypto currency for that specific period for sure. Because in that particular region the electricity will be shunt and thus there wont be any access to digital world. These people wont be able to withdraw any currencies and either they will be able to trade it due irregular working of lets say banking system.

If you talking about the global earthquake disaster (which sounds global extinction) lolz, then surely there wont be any value for crypto world, because then living will be the primary focus.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: October 04, 2018, 07:47:51 AM
I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

Investors are here only but they are not enough to invest in every other projects that comes out of the nutshell. I mean just look at the average ratio of the new ICO's that are getting launched everyday and every month. Its huge number and I guess with time its even increasing more and more.

Now the thing is, investors number is not growing with that much speed and hence they are getting out numbered. They cant go and invest equally in all the ICO's. This is why we see failure in the ICO fund raiser.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 04, 2018, 05:34:44 AM
I guess we can not help with it if the market is not moving. Now there is no such thing as unity and doing the things altogether as if someone might just say here lets start out unity and pump the crypto market more and more. Thats complete rubbish thing, we cant move the market in that manner because there is no unity at all. There is always unbalanced group of people with panic sellers at one site and buyers at one site. Now we cant stop these panic sellers and thus buyers take the full advantage of this situation and keeps buying at lowest prices and thus the market sets out lower prices all the time.
This is what currently happening, and no one is to blame it but this is how it works I guess.

If you want to win the profits then you need to choose right spot and earn.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: October 03, 2018, 12:33:18 PM
Its hard to find any other ways to easily spend your crypto currencies. I have always been looking for such opportunities because now I am really done with the crypto currency earnings. I am literally holding more than enough number of altcoins in my ether wallet and literally some of them I dont even know about. Every coin is worth something ranging from few dollars to couple of thousands. But what to do with them? If I need money then I just trade them with the BTC and later sell them for the fiat. Thats the longest process I always need to follow if I want to use that cold stored money. But thats the worst experience. Things should have been very easy but they aren't in the crypto space.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to effectively promote projects? on: October 02, 2018, 12:58:29 PM
Now wondered to promote projects to the masses. In the past I used Facebook ads, it was very effective.
If you set yourself the task to promote your crypto project, what promotion strategy would you choose?
Does it make sense to use Google advertising?
Do you believe in the effectiveness of bounty programs?

Google advertising surely works because they are reaching out the right people and thus you wont pay for the customers who are not relevant with the advertisement. For example when someone is surfing the coinmarketcap then ultimately google tracks that the specified user is crypto base and thus they start showing the crypto based advertisement over it. But if same person if surfing the amazon all the time then he wont be shown the ads related to crypto because he wont be interested in it. Thats the logic behind it and thats why it works for sure. Bounties, yes they work and they are the main point of attraction for the investors.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A tip for choosing the exchange. on: October 02, 2018, 09:54:14 AM
I guess due to this mess we have the exchanges with lot of new added features where they are offering their own coins for us to use as fees. If you use them for paying the trading fees or withdrawal fees then you literally get flat 50% off on your fees. Thus it makes the life simpler that way.

I guess there are many more exchangers like this, for example recently I have seen lunch of new exchanger called as TowerX Exchanger which is giving you huge benefits of holding their coins as well as paying the fees with it. You get flat 50% off on all your fees. I guess its pretty good isn't it.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really Bitcoin Anonymous? on: October 02, 2018, 05:58:55 AM
I like the diagram that has plotted here, very smooth and clear presentation of from where to where.

But, lets think about it one more time. I only see some big names, single person (satoshi), entities, service providers and networks in the diagram but I dont see name of rest of the million users in it. There might be big data mapping that can be done with this but its not repenting the personal information of someone at all. For example, I dont see my name or I cant read myself anywhere in that mapping. Now thats what we call as anonymous nature of crypto. Even if the addresses can be linked or seen then also everything remains the same because there is personal name attachment to them and thus by any way it remains pseudo-anonymous.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin and decreases in 2017 and 2018. on: October 01, 2018, 04:15:01 AM
I don't believe in OP at all. You said bitcoin went downtrend in 2017 when it reached 20K USD value. Wrong. It actually went ATH after having the values near to 1000 USD by January 2017 and it step by step went up high to 5000 USD where it stabilised a bit, fallen back again and then jumped ATH. This is how it went through 2017 and this is what happening this year as well. Look at the values, they went down because it was obvious that people will sell for higher prices and thus market will get liquified. Now slowly the market is again getting condensed and thus it will rise in the value slowly for sure.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP replaced ETH again today on: October 01, 2018, 03:48:34 AM
Couple of minutes ago, I have seen XRP was in 2nd place. In this month, it has been happened twice. What do you think? Will XRP get the 2nd place for a long time?
In my opinion, if XRP gets the bounce in next month, the position will be for long term.

I really think its just temporary tug of war! Currently XRP is taking the advantages of being in the down time of ETH coin who is struggling a lot with its network and also people are dropping out of it very fast. Now ideally when investor goes out of the No. 2 current in the chart then they will surely put their trust over the #3 currency which is by default XRP here. Thus, it is getting more and more volume day by day and in the meantime ETH is loosing its volume. The net effect is increased market cap for the XRP and thus we are seeing that its gaining the #2 position. This has happened earlier so I am sure its not a big deal for it.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 30, 2018, 02:12:26 PM
In the past few days I've seen the price of ethereum fluctuating as a new entrant in this field. What should I do to buy or sell out need advice from a specialist or switch from eth to eos for investment I see The eos is growing ever since it overcame eth in the future

I barely doubt that we should be changing our minds so easily from the ETH to EOS. Just because ETH is having some bad patch right now (with the market) then it doesnt mean we should see it as worst investment of all time. In fact it is giving us the perfect time to buy more or become the bigger investors of the same and thus earn some bucks out of it. I dont think EOS will ever give us any kind of profit that ETH will be giving us in the future. I am still sticking to the ETH because I have seen the huge spikes and better ATH as compared to any altcoin out there.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple vs. Ether; get ready for the next battle! on: September 30, 2018, 01:36:42 PM
Lets not forget that Ripple did defeat the ETH one time last year but it went down again due to the fact that it was not capable enough to make things good again. I guess Ripple currently is really pushing hard as you said but its not gonna cross the ETH at all due to the fact that ETH already went down a lot and touched its bottom prices and now everyone thinks that this is the perfect time to buy it. What has happened due to this? Well people have driven the market volume of the ETH way lot more than XRP and thus ideally XRP can not take the second position if its volume remains downside.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: September 29, 2018, 04:29:30 AM
How do you deal with 20% plus drops. Do you try to sell at the top and buy back in? are you a hold on for dear lifer?

First of all anyone selling at the 20% plus drops would be the unreal person with no sense about the crypto trading at all. The crypto currencies are prone to drop all the time and its no wonder that we will see this happening all the time around the crypto world. All you need to do is just wait and watch the crypto market regain its dominance one more time as it will always do that without any question. Simple sell when it recovers and simply buy when it drops one more time.
Whenever the crypto is dropping you should be in the buy mode literally and when it is pumping then you should be ready for the sells. Keep it that simple.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and regulations on: September 20, 2018, 08:56:41 AM
I believe getting crypto currencies taxed is same thing as doing it over the stocks and bonds trading. They are asset and so as to crypto currencies are!! The tax is when you are trading something with buy and sell processes and having the difference between the exchange rates. This is because you are gaining something out of these trades and thus you must share a tax proportion to the government so that your income remains tracked and contributing. Crypto currencies are not real money as we know. They all are assets and nothing else so its no wonder if they are taxing it. I guess in my country the situation is something like this only.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Some tips for newcomers to the cryptocurrency market on: September 19, 2018, 01:20:39 PM
Best advice is do your own research, dont fall into pump and dumps, or worthless altcoins. 95 percent of altcoins are just here to extract bitcoin or in some cases ether. Dont play with more than you can lose, and be strong, as markets are tough.

Yeah, thats the simple play here. Dont get involved in more than few crypto currencies which are not affordable to us to buy and later wait for them to go to new heights so that we can sell them for the profits. Now profit making is the real deal here and if we are not making our way through it then we cant earn enough from it. If you want sustain here then step is to gain control over the coins which are cheap and also having good market status as well. Choosing of the coins is very important as it can give us portfolio that we can choose for long term holding with huge profits along the way.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping / Intraday strategies for BTC on: September 19, 2018, 10:53:17 AM
In different market stages, we have to apply different strategies

As the market does almost nothing for 3 weeks, I wonder any scalping or intraday strategies to make 1-2% daily (even more with margin)

Does anyone practice it or know nice strategies acceptable to BTC / alts?

1,5,15 mins timeframes

If the market is almost doing nothing then how can you expect to have the intraday trading to be done anyway? Do you know the current market is full of bears and not the bulls at all. Meaning the market is having unidirectional movement for now and thats just going down and no where. This means you can not place any orders yet and cant be able to make intraday trading as you wont be having chances of gaining the profits with short period of time like that. 1 to 15 min window is too short in the crypto currencies and there are only selected coins which may get you 1% or more profits with that much smaller window of the trading.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: September 19, 2018, 05:55:32 AM
Everyday, we are seeing new crypto currency exchanges start working. So many platform has already opened. But Is that OK? I think volumes are seperating. How this effect prices?

New exchanges formation doesn't really dilute the volume but it actually helping it to grow more! With the new exchanges, coins are listed over there and thus more investors are getting to know it. This is because it is not the case that person A who is using the exchanger- X will be present at exchanger-Y and thus his investment into that exchanger is null. But now if there is person who likes to have exchanger-Y then he might be contributing his investment over there and thus making more volume for the same coin. This is how it works and thus the coin is actually getting more popular and at the same time it is also getting more volume shared.
