thanks, restarted it
Still not updating Did you change the detection code? I modified the ad code like this: <iframe data-aa="xxx" src="//ad.anonymousads.com/xxx/html" class="aafram"></iframe> which used to be detected properly

Looks like the health percentages don't get updated anymore. I've placed back the code on one of my sites (I had removed it a while back with the McAfee SiteAdvisor issue) >24h ago, it's still at 0%.

Indeed it's been quite quiet on my side too, although I think I received a payment last maybe around the 1st of November or something

Thanks for your message! Are you talking about this https://anonymousads.com/site/615 ? I don't see any harm from it, except flooding the database. It is easy to remove records with health 0% from the database, and also there is some implicit limitation on amount of affiliates on the page. Frankly speaking I don't quite understand what's the incentive to register sites like that. Is there any except vandalism? Yes, that's the one. And yes, that's just for vandalism I guess, lots of people do that on Wikipedia, why not elsewhere too . Or maybe experimenting how the site copes with this kind of situation...

With this "no account, open access for all" concept came a new kind of spam: some @$$**** spammed a bunch of accounts with a link to bit.ly/U0abCg (NB: don't visit, might crash your browser, although the link I put here is just the bit.ly stat page, which is safe). Any way to remove this?

If they want bitcoin and they own a store then one wouldn't need to encourage them to accept it, they would do it by themselves. See what I mean? Meh... I think the idea is to give an extra incentive for stores who already accept Bitcoin to encourage their visitors to pay in Bitcoins. For this 3% discount they get free promotion at this "cheaper in Bitcoins" site. (and also ideally the "cheaper in Bitcoins" site provide materials to educate visitors about Bitcoin, too)

I'd be interested in this when my site is ready to accept payments (would be something like 6 months from now, though: it's freemium and for the moment only the free part is up ). I hope whoever runs this project doesn't forget about local businesses, too (for instance my site is targeted at a specific country only, for the moment at least).

Down for me too

I removed site weights. Affiliates will be rewarded in proportion to <n of impressions during last 7 days>*(<n of clicks during last 7 days> + 1). Might be a bit biased in favor of those who give an incentive to click, and a lot in favor of those with a higher number of visits (basically, this is equivalent to Nvisits^2*CTR with a twist to avoid CTR=0). Also, why only 7 days? (which basically increases variability) How about something like Nvisits*sqrt(CTR*100) over last 30 days? (with still a twist to avoid CTR=0)

Yeah I remember playing it when it was open source. Was pretty fun. Worth ~$3 IMHO. Tried it too but felt too unfinished at the time, as far as I remember. Did they finish it before switching to selling the all-flash-no-soul version? (I guess that's what Xonotic is for ^^)

Hm, Nexuiz, the game that went from FLOSS to SteamRM? No thanks... At least I learned a stupid acronym today... Edit: your ASIC things look pretty good though (the product, not the site ), although you might want to add interesting info such as expected power draw and size.

Any news on the weights ?

Maybe a good solution for the moment would be to move them at the bottom of the list?

I have been paid twice but have tried it over several weeks at least a dozen times (maybe more).
Same, I've been paid only twice, while I watched like 20 videos over several weeks... Something's very wrong with the way the (don't) do payouts IMO...

Yep, its coming to the point where the 'anonymous' sales pitch used to entice others to start using BTC will be an outright lie. (though it was never really anonymous without the proper precautions) Indeed. Funding costs higher than Paypal, ID-checking worse than Paypal... Of course they can be traded from hand to hand against cash, but sadly that doesn't look too convenient for massive adoption... A big difference between PayPal and Mt. Gox is that PayPal would happily return all of my money if I did not comply. They simply would not let me add more to my account. Mt. Gox, OTOH, will freeze funds until they get the bio-metric info. I consider this to be extortion and theft. Yup, Paypal are jackasses, but they're honest jackasses. They may return the money to the wrong person sometimes, too (in case of an abusively reversed transaction), or with a delay, but at least it seems that they do their best to return it to the right person, and that they don't make up excuses to keep it to themselves forever, unlike Gox. I mean, if you deposit, then don't want to provide biometric info, why wouldn't you be allowed to withdraw what you deposited?

BTCFree.net is offline, 502 gateway, perhaps should just move this one to the 'gone' list as I have never seen it with money anyways.
paperfaucet is empty. Definitely, never seen those 2 funded. One a side note, the paper one let you solve the PITA captcha before letting you know there are no funds anyway. Not very graceful...

Just wondering, why don't you list Bitminter?

As long as it doesn't leak when including the ads on affiliates' sites, that's not much of a problem. We ourselves don't browse without ghostery, do we?

Just got a note from one of my visitors that the morons at McAfee tag anonymousads as malware...
