41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] EPIC - Epic Private Internet Cash | MimbleWimble | Dandelion++ on: March 26, 2020, 05:03:49 AM
Any plans to get listed on more exchanges?  The current exchanges don't have a lot of volume, and or use fake data to make them seem like they do.  Also would be nice if you guys would release a Nvidia Miner that supported windows.  TT-Miner works, but hasn't been updated in months.
Well we added VinDAX which is non KYC for 2BTC per 24 hours, and they do not appear running bots - https://vindax.com/exchange-base.html?symbol=EPIC_BTC .
The thing about low volume is everyone is accumulating, so legitimate low sell offers get snapped up fast.
For example BiHODL runs their stupid bots and shows transactions for less than half of what people actually sell.
More miners coming online check the Telegram channels, including the guys at Rager.lol working on a Epic/Monero miner.
Devs are busy with GUI and next gen stuff so work on miners is going through community volunteers and other miners integrating Epic Cash co-mining functionality.
Good news is everyone is staying calm and healthy - wishing that for everyone out there  Cheesy

So all you have a problem with is that there is a 7.77% dev tax and YOU dont like the Dev Team who is getting it?
Project has paid devs in addition to volunteer devs.
At 7.77% current dev tax, which drops 1.11% every year.
Epic Cash is #4 in dev tax percentage, the Beam guys are collecting 20%
Seriously you keep harping on this and making up lies because you got kicked off the project.
Again, the bottom line is you and your sockpuppets do not like one of the founders, and you are trying to hurt the project and EVERYONE involved with it because you are butthurt.
Epic Cash is a very transparent project, but you are a seriously creepy and deranged dude  Roll Eyes

Sophomoric humor from someone who spammed classless rubbish 143 times and got 1 pity merit does not mean much, but lets entertain the idiot also out of pity.
Judging by your commentaries, in addition to being socially retarded, you are also technologically impaired (likely a no-coiner), so I will try to use short words except for mimblewimble...
In the world of private crypto there are really only two directions of true privacy coins - Monero type crypto and Mimblewimble type crypto.
Monero is old school and has its own advantages and problems, but they are established and respected.
Mimblewimble is newer, lighter, and has tremendous potential.
Out of all Mimblewimble cryptos - Epic Cash is the best and most versatile implementation in terms of long term value.
Currently on three exchanges with more on the way.
Several wallet options with more on the way.
Dev team with tremendous volunteer support, easy to follow instructions for new users, tutorial videos, etc...
Super affordable to get started in.
Bottom line - private, fungible, flexible mining CPU/GPU/ASIC, smart and responsible emission schedule, etc...

Enjoy Responsibly  Grin

Lol flexible mining best mimble wimble coin very laughable grin changes there algo so ant miners ect don't take over the coin community and become centralised, what's epic cash gonna do nothing and die.
So many meaningless words, so little sense, so much bullshit.  Grin
Why are you so butt hurt buddy?  Roll Eyes
Why do you keep playing that same bullshit song?  Huh
Today, Epic Cash is alive and well, with new miners coming onboard all the time, couple of GUI wallets available, added a non KYC exchange that has IOS and Android wallets, getting more and more real dev and user support. Your mention of ant miners shows that you dont even understand ANY of the underlying mechanics of Epic Cash or Grin or likely any crypto at all, you are just a sad no coiner all-talk trash... Dude you should crawl back under your rancid rock, instead of displaying more and more of your ignorance, anger and stupidity. Epic Cash for anyone who understands ANYTHING about crypto is a solid and damn smart project that just keeps getting better every day.

But thanks again for thinking of us  Cheesy
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk finally weighs in on Bitcoin in a longer than usual commentary on: January 25, 2020, 01:06:02 AM
So Elon Musk finally went a little deeper on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, sharing his thoughts in a recent interview with the Third Row Tesla Podcast - Elon's Story - Part 1.

I mean in the past he did call Bitcoin "quite brilliant", while criticizing it for being "energy intensive", and even joking about pervasive crypto scams that were originated in his name. So in the course of this interview Elon compared money to an information system for label allocation (1hr:22min into the video) and while at it bagged on the banks as heterogeneous low security high latency databases.
To save you a lot of time, the Bitcoin bit comes at 1hr:33min into the video when one of the interviewers asks "You love code but you dont seem to be bullish about Bitcoin", so the Great One waffle a little first saying he is neither here no there on Bitcoin, calls it "pretty clever" but then takes us down a familiar road with the "there are these transactions that are not within the balance of the law" and reducing Bitcoin to a "legal to illegal" bridge. Gets a little better when he talks about crypto being replacement for cash, but not a primary database...

As a Tesla owner and Tesla/SpaceX/TeslaEnergy fanatic, and a bit of an Elon Musk fanboy, I was a little disappointed...

What do you think about this folks? Great visionary guy missing the point? I mean he is clearly up the speed on finance and tech, having co-founded PayPal etc..

A popular website called Deadcoins listed you as a scam shit coin. Have you noticed it yet? I thought Epic cash will be a valid and better altcoin but are you scamming now? I would recommend everyone, don't waste your time in this coin. It seems they are paying people to comment brainless positive comments.
Beautiful stuff  Grin a former disgruntled member of the project, with a documented history of libel, wanted in Philippines for libel,  who was doxxing other project members and spreading lies about the Epic Cash project, trying to poison this thread with a small army of sock puppets, also said bad things about Epic Cash on a "popular site" with remarkably shitty Alexa rating of 499,025.
OMG THE HORROR!!!  Roll Eyes

Seriously, are you gullible, stupid or deliberately trolling?
Epic Cash is a living and growing project - https://explorer.epic.tech/
Easily best pick out of the already good Mimblewimble privacy algo lineup because of its responsible emission schedule, dynamic triple mining algo, and a kick ass growing community.
Epic Cash has both KYC and non KYC exchanges, multiple GUI wallets, with constant development targeting usability and mass adoption by the mainstream.

So, back to the original question - are you gullible, stupid or deliberately trolling?
But hey, thank you thinking of us  Roll Eyes

The trouble with all these fancy projects is that they are designed to benefit Big Pharma, and not mankind. Using fertilisers to increase crop yield reduces the health of the world population. Mother nature has spent years testing and evolving out world, and we are attempting to change it to enrich a few elite dynasties. Anyone who tries to resist this is branded with a while bunch of inappropriate labels. "Climate change denier" is one such label. We don't deny that the climate is changing, we just don't think it is caused by cows farting, and carbon dioxide. You only need to look at the health of most people these days, to realise that a lot of things are wrong. Most diets are deficient in minerals, and one cause of this is a reduction in ruminant animals ruminating. Feeding cows with artificial protein rather than allowing them to feed on self-fermented grass creates low value meat, and it breaks the natural cycles of farming, by denying the return of minerals to the soil.

We need more ruminants reared in pastures, and not synthetic protein grown on strings in artificial atmospheres.
No no, sorry I did not go into detail, what I mean by fertilizer - it was not a chemical conversion, but a simple soil enrichment with a mix of algae which they grew right there, and algae which they burned after they fermented and extracted alcohol from it (like depleted algae ash)... Visually it was impressive, they had these 12 foot tall clear tubes (glass I guess) filled with water and algae exposed to the sun so it grew like crazy. SO basically the idea was to enrich poor sandy soil with organic compound from the ocean. I got to dig up that article this was decades ago. The idea was to convert desert into farmland using resources available nearby. Definitely agree with you on organic agriculture, as a kid I spent many of my summers on a farm Smiley Responsible grazing, and crop rotation kept the grass green, the grain plentiful and the cows happy.
49  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Investment thoughts - off the beaten path on: January 24, 2020, 06:15:46 AM
they have made the egyptian sands fertile enough for potatos to grow and they have sourced water to feed them.. 20 years ago people would have thought that was sci-fi. but its happening

I worked for Shell international in the 1960s, and they developed a product to do this. The greatest problem they found in turn deserts into arable land is the shifting surface, as this prevents plants from laying down roots. They developed a sticky fertiliser that they could spray over the land. Once you have trees and bushes with roots, then they help to retain the ground water. They had to give up though, as the locals pulled up all the plants and burnt them to warm themselves in the cold nights.

Its always brutal when use case collides with designers vision  Cheesy
Thing that I find fascinating is that there are regions in desert climate zones where there is drinkable water available under the sand...
Another thing that I saw interesting back few years ago was a terraforming project that started at the coast somewhere in West Africa, desalinating ocean water with solar power, using ocean water as a cooler, growing algae in huge vats, converting algae into alcohol and fertilizer, enriching soil with fertilizer, using alcohol for fuel, and reclaiming productive moving inland from the coast. It was a pretty involved chain project that looked like a scifi terraforming -way cool!

With resources like ZeroHedge it is always about sensationalism. As per Wikipedia (no plagiarism intended), "events and topics in news stories are selected and worded to excite the greatest number of readers and viewers". Since most people are prone to overreacting, the stories like the impending collapse of the dollar system (aliens invasion, nuclear holocaust, global warming, whatever currently fits that purpose) are always finding their audience even if the events described should have happened long ago according to their sources

At least, with the actual source we can have same basis to discuss about

There's no basis for anything other than purely scientific interest in brainwashing, mind control, coercive persuasion, or whatever it is called these days

Right, but in addition to purely scientific cant we have some mildly Machiavellian "enlightened self interest"?  Wink
IMO the trick to healthy living is not to get caught up in the bullshit, but be aware of it, since it clearly impacts people and economy, and ultimately make some money on the swing of tides

It is easier said than done

You begin to separate the wheat from the chaff after you learn it the hard way, in most cases. It is difficult not to fall victim to this kind of propaganda as it is aimed at your emotional side (as any such stuff), i.e. something which you feel as true and thus heavily forced to consider true from deep within even if you are fully aware that it is not. Try reading this stuff, and you instantly get caught up in this kind of thing. As they say, it ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble as it's what you know for sure that just ain't so
Helps being born in another time and another place rife with propaganda and failed ideologies, and growing up on real-life horror stories of repressions and wars past. Nothing like watching a totalitarian empire fall apart before your eyes to make you numb to rhetoric and manipulation, while still being aware of it. Then spending a lifetime working with Psychological Marketing models and voila  Roll Eyes

You don't need to go any further than ZeroHedge. That's the ultimate source of all such bullshit

Bullshit or not bullshit, doesn't matter. Media always does good and bad things as long as they can have huge traffics and everything about money

It is not about good or bad at all

With resources like ZeroHedge it is always about sensationalism. If they Plan to kill and drop the USA dollar then why they work with so many USA dollar based stable coins like usdc thether and pax....

How does it make any sense?
They say that world Elite Plan is to destroy the USA dollar but the Same time all the big guys working on USA dollar token based stable coins?

Is that means the collapse and crash about USA dollar is hoax?
So much bullshit, hearsay and conjecture  in one post - wow! WTF are "They"?! If you mean the unwashed masses, well then "they" have no clue about what the "Elite Plan" is, because they are too busy living in debt and building pyramids for the masters.  No one is planning to destroy USD, they cant, they wont, they love it whether they admit it or not, they cant live without it.
Crypto, as much as we all love it is a pimple on the worlds ass in terms of global influence, just another small vehicle for speculative revenue generation and somewhat clandestine value exchange, no more no less. It is allowed to exist precisely for that. The few of "us" on the fringes who are making money off crypto are not on anyone's radar because in the greater scope of things even our collective market value in terms of fiat is mousenuts, let alone the lack of real global power. So calm down, and carry on with your existence.

I'm down to about 500 names at the moment, and I've been neglecting them. I got the hump with Sedo because they wouldn't pay out in Sterling, but I might revisit them. Name Silo used to pay out in Bitcoin, but they've stopped doing that now, and that is a bit sad for me.
I made more money by identifying businesses that can use my domains and reaching out directly to them rather than waiting on broker sites. Several domains I actually purchased in advance with a particular customer in mind, and had about 30 percent success with that. Not my main line of revenue generation, but a fun hobby though.
56  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Investment thoughts - off the beaten path on: January 07, 2020, 06:03:17 AM
Domain names (especially liquid domains) continue to prove to be high performing investments/digital assets year after year. In fact, crypto domains have shown better returns than cryptos themselves in some cases.
As someone who is holding over two hundred domains, and made a couple of bucks off them, I fully agree  Grin
Geo dependent crypto domains, and emerging tech domains are quite tasty if you have the foresight  Wink
57  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I have message to those well known persons on: January 07, 2020, 05:58:59 AM
There will always be people making predictions based on misunderstandings, misconceptions, and attempts to manipulate public opinion. I predict that the number of predictions predicting the price changes in Bitcoin. I liked the one that stated that the tightening of the mining difficulty ribbon indicates that the price of Bitcoin will move - either up or down, unless the miners consolidate, and the price moves sideways. I'm basing all my investments on that prediction. Smiley
I predict that predictable predictability manipulation is a solid business model for achieving Profit based on understanding of the impact false profits and their zealots have on the market with all of their well and timely placed misdirections and apparent logical fallacies which none the less create the currents the Market navigates and is influenced by. The Wisdom is to make practical gains from understanding of the jesters and their dance.

Thank you for checking in and saying hello, actually the project is going quite well  Grin

We are getting more miners especially CPU crowd since Epic Cash is the only Mimblewimble crypto that can be mined with CPU.
The overall trolling of our project is pretty much consistent with what most newly emerging cryptos face, its baseless and criminally-obscessively-stalky variety.
We are in the process of adding more exchanges, features, wallets, and user-friendliness , our devs and volunteers are staying bery busy, while not having the highest dev tax by far (at 7.77% and dropping annually by 1.11%) we are 4th lowest in the Mimblewimble space).
Epic Cash  has solid proven market resistance, thanks to folks quietly accumulating, and we are poised for gradual continuing rise in price.
So in terms of tech, teamwork, user base, and current low price I believe we are the best value in the Mibmblewimble space.

Thanks again  Grin
