I followed the instructions. The only thing it doesn't notate is that prior to running "make" you need to chmod a file: chmod 755 src/leveldb/build_detect_platform it is located in (rain_git_directory)/rain/src/leveldb/ Once you chmod that file you can then run make. It should run no problems! Trying to update this coin on my server I have 8 connections but the block stops at 9999 and just sits there. Ive tried deleting the conf folder and restarting the coin but same it just stops at 9999.

Hm, wasn't just me then. I updated checkpoints and sync-checkpoints, my additions started at block 10,000. Not sure what's up yet, but I've updated the code and reverted back. Pushing out a working client right now. Ant thoughts?

Received a message from someone associated with another currency - guess what it's called... So they're requesting we change the name from doubloons to something else. Ticker would still be BOAT; that's really all that matters. Out of respect, I agreed to come up with a new name as they were here first. figured I'd see if y'all have any suggestions  Well indeed like someone said in here, Doubloon is a bit complicated name. I have few suggestions bout the name: - Galleon's Gold [BOAT] - Golden Ship [BOAT] - Galleons [BOAT] or - Galion [BOAT] (from franch). The internet is full of dead cryptocoins, it's a list of dozens. And because they restared a deadcoin they expect a namechange from another coin with almost the same name, that's interesting. Nice try I would say... Perhaps don't let a coin bleed to death next time. Doubloon (BOAT) is the name of this project and it should stay like this. This cryptocoin will boost before theirs is alive yet. Arrrrrr, come on pirates! I'm working with them now. If legitimate, I will gladly change the name out of respect. Although they were dead at the time of this project launching - we'll see what sort of responses I receive from their team. Yobit never responds to my requests. Also, note comments above  What we need right now is funding (obviously) so we can get the core team assigned and roles given out - mobile developers, web developers, designers, programmers, network administrators (for IoT devices) and marketers are needed! Once we have solid footing team-wise we can push out a real product. |

Not so smart from the people who sold off this presious coin I bought a lot more on the dip today It will RAIN a lot more on me next time. The rewerds from the free RAIN are realy great!! Some RAIN rewerds are realy big  I realy believe RAIN will easy be $50mln market cap coin with a price of $0.6 and with some gopd support I can see a lot more for this coin. Hi. This looks like an interesting coin. I notice the circulating supply is 18.5 million. The max supply is 500 million though? Any idea what sort of monthly inflation this coin will experience? Looks like a good community here.
That figure could be wrong as I believe the stats on Coinmarketcap are in correct so it could be more then that 18.5 million showing on there. Not sure about the inflation but maybe the dev can let us know. I'm also all for masternodes here as I believe masternodes would be better implemented for Boat instead of RAIN at this time, maybe once POW is over for Boat masternodes could be implemented. I would love to see a new wallet maybe with the graphic from op as that image looks Awesome so if the dev can implement that into a new wallet update I think it would look Awesome! Alas, your post read too late - but be sure of a graphical upheaval in v1.0.0.3 Testing, then pushing out update v1.0.0.2 right now. Despite all the hype over masternodes, I'm reluctant to change the core mechanics behind these two coins as they have survived healthily throughout the turbulent seas of crypto, the scammy hornswagglers and deceitful cap'ns sailing their ICOs straight into icebergs.
If anything, I'd prefer to create something new for the community, hiring someone to integrate masternodes on top of a similar codebase to that which powers RAIN and BOAT. The bitcointalk community as sailed us this far into uncharted territory, and me map tells of even greater riches to be had on even larger uncharted waters. I am 100% supportive of masternodes, and am 100% indebted to the community supporting RAIN and BOAT, so would need more input on what we could all accomplish together! This could be massive, with all the support behind both coins merging into one new project. Obviously RAIN and BOAT will still live, and nobody should view this as a 'swap' or ditch one project for a new one.
This would essentially be the product what an honest dev can share with the crypto-community, and a product of those who've made BOAT & RAIN a reality.

Hey Guys, just installed the Condensate Windows wallet. After starting the wallet it starts synchronising but crashes after 3 minutes. What can I do to solve this problem? I have Win10..  Keep trying. If it still doesnt work after 3 or 4 times, delete everything but wallet.dat, and place the bootstrap in your \roaming\rain directory before launching.
