Despite all the hype over masternodes, I'm reluctant to change the core mechanics behind these two coins as they have survived healthily throughout the turbulent seas of crypto, the scammy hornswagglers and deceitful cap'ns sailing their ICOs straight into icebergs.

If anything, I'd prefer to create something new for the community, hiring someone to integrate masternodes on top of a similar codebase to that which powers RAIN and BOAT.  The bitcointalk community as sailed us this far into uncharted territory, and me map tells of even greater riches to be had on even larger uncharted waters.  I am 100% supportive of masternodes, and am 100% indebted to the community supporting RAIN and BOAT, so would need more input on what we could all accomplish together!  This could be massive, with all the support behind both coins merging into one new project.  Obviously RAIN and BOAT will still live, and nobody should view this as a 'swap' or ditch one project for a new one. 

This would essentially be the product what an honest dev can share with the crypto-community, and a product of those who've made BOAT & RAIN a reality.

Very happy to see you here dev! I've been a big supporter of Boat as its one of the first coins I have been able to mine and still mine. Myself and a few others have kept this thread alive while you were away attending to RAIN as that seemed to be your main focus which is understandable as that one took off quick and there is a lot of buzz about it. What ever you decide to do dev you'll have my support 100% as I believe in what you are doing with both projects.

Yes trying to get Boat listed on Cryptopia would be a huge step for this coin and get it even more exposure then what it currently has now. I believe the dev was going to use some of the premine to get Boat listed on Cryptopia so now might be the time as its now getting some attention.

Very happy to see you here dev! I've been a big supporter of Boat as its one of the first coins I have been able to mine and still mine. Nice to see that you are updating us with your idea of creating a new coin instead of changing the core mechanics and implementing masternodes to BOAT and RAIN. Maybe you can call it BRAIN (BoatRAIN) or BORAI (BOat RAIn). Anyway I remain to the idea that BOAT needs masternodes, but is your project so is your call.

Also, I am a fan of masternodes for BOAT. But it is up to the dev and dev supports this coin so regardless so I'll always be holding some. I am curious if there is any specific direction this coin is headed without masternodes though.

Boat is currently working fine in the market. Saw the rise in Coinmarketcap. Hopefully this upward trend will continue. There might be a few bumps along the way but we will be able to ignore it.

That figure could be wrong as I believe the stats on Coinmarketcap are in correct so it could be more then that 18.5 million showing on there. Not sure about the inflation but maybe the dev can let us know.

I'm also all for masternodes here as I believe masternodes would be better implemented for Boat instead of RAIN at this time, maybe once POW is over for Boat masternodes could be implemented. I would love to see a new wallet maybe with the graphic from op as that image looks Awesome so if the dev can implement that into a new wallet update I think it would look Awesome!

Alas, your post read too late - but be sure of a graphical upheaval in v1.0.0.3

Testing, then pushing out update v1.0.0.2 right now. Merged some pull requests, added some checkpoints, and built a new bootstrap. Adding in a .conf file; this package should get any newcomers on their feet in no time
