I'm interested, but It's kinda pointless to bid without a deadline.
43  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Announce] bitcoinmonitor.net - Free professional notification/payment service on: June 07, 2014, 03:38:44 PM
Any chance of making this opensource?
44  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 26, 2014, 08:36:22 PM
Unfortunately the auction didn't reach the value I was hoping for, so I'm canceling it.

You weren't able to withdrawal because the hot wallet temporarily ran out of funds.
Deposits were delayed because Blockchain.info API sometimes is slow to react due to their CloudFlare DDoS protection.
I've received a number of emails asking when their adspace will be approved, please read the instructions below the code when you click "Get Code".
There has been 5.13 BTC in deposits since the auction started.

No, I don't accept anything else besides BTC, no PayPal, no SEPA, no Bank Transfer, no Dwola, no cash, no Euros, no Dollar, just BITCOIN.

And please, stop with the "i would" bids.
49  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 20, 2014, 12:15:32 PM
i was interested but not anymore...you should be careful...do your research...if top 2 advertisers and his own coinad.com stops using adbit.co, you will make less than $50/month profit...will take very long time recouping your $10k+ investment.

good luck
It's funny how people keep saying that since the first day I opened my first website (coinad.com) on March 01, 2012. "your website will close when x or y advertiser goes away huehueheu"
Guess what, it never happened.

It's possible for that to happen if you STAGNATE, which is exactly why I'm selling the site, because I don't want that to happen, or else I would just keep everything exactly as it is and not sell it.
It's your job to keep the site updated, and make new features as the new owner, it can't be that hard to figure this out.

Sorry, I meant 0.01 BTC!

Carlos,

I just deposited 0.1 BTC with transaction d4b787570ae957c668acef415fa45e5cf4bceadd6ee62bd394db349ec97f4362.  However, despite multiple confirmations, it has not credited.

See https://blockchain.info/tx/d4b787570ae957c668acef415fa45e5cf4bceadd6ee62bd394db349ec97f4362

Thanks,
BitcoinReserve.org
Does this look like a place to ask for support?

Anyway... It's the Blockchain.info API problem again, sometimes their service is down and it takes a while to credit.

Do u plan to sell coinad.com too ?
No.
53  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 15, 2014, 12:58:32 PM
Are any of your top earners dropping your service?

Freebitco.in
BtcClicks.com
Dailybitcoins.org
Coinad.com
LandofBitcoin.com

Do you think these 5 sites will continue using your service for atleast a year?
How am I supposed to know that?

What are your expenses?

After all your expense, how much average profit per month?

How much time do u spend per week running this site?
Did you read the first post?

i see your main advertiser is anonibet

if they quit, u out of biz
Do you really think that just by taking a quick look at the website in random time of the day can tell you who the (big) advertisers are?
54  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 14, 2014, 08:23:01 AM
Due to popular demand, from now on I won't accept private bids (anonymous for the public).
You can still ask me what you feel necessary privately.

Current winning bid: 13 BTC from bmoconno
55  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 14, 2014, 12:05:55 AM
Current winning bid: 12.5 BTC
56  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 13, 2014, 06:23:48 PM
Bids by private message/email (anonymous for the public) are accepted.

I wish this wasn't allowed, I can't tell if you are inflating the price.

Also why are you are selling it if you are obviously making a good profit margin?
I don't want to make people register on the forum just to place a bid.

Since everyone asks why I want to sell the site, I'll give some info here.
This life isn't working very well for me, I sit all day in front of my computer, I barely have any contact with other people during the entire day. I'm young (19 years old) and want something else at this point, I want to start college and meet new people/places. I'm making a good income with my sites and other stuff online, but having money doesn't mean happiness. Hopefully this will satisfy everyone curious about this.

59  Economy / Auctions / Auction of AdBit.co - Advertising network on: April 13, 2014, 12:04:52 PM
I'm putting up for auction the website AdBit.co, a advertising network that consists of bidding on users websites, the higher the bid, the greater the exposure share on the publisher adpspace.

You can learn more here: https://AdBit.co
Bitcointalk.org topic discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=449010

This is a great project, there's almost no competition and there's space for a lot of improvements/ideas.
I see a bright future for this in the correct hands, the Bitcoin world needs/deserves a quality advertising network.

The reason I want to sell the website is personal, I can give you some insight privately, but I won't discuss it in public.

Here's some information/statistics for the 66 days of its existence:
3,426 registered users
1,069 websites
1,562 adspaces
3,504 bids
136,317,178 adspace views
30.07 BTC in deposits
15% fee, 4.24 BTC profit
The site runs on a $20 droplet on DigitalOcean.com

If you're the winner of the auction, I will deliver to you, by your preferred method, all the files, database and domain.
I will pay every user balance before the transfer of ownership, so balances will be 0 for all users in  the database.
The database will be exactly as it is at the moment I close the website, so all current statistics will be kept, it's your job to change users deposit addresses or do whatever you feel necessary to run the website.
I will keep all private keys for the current bitcoin deposit addresses.
I will provide support for free for 7 business days after delivery, after that I may charge a hourly fixed rate.

Terms:
Auction starts at 10 BTC, minimum increments of 0.50 BTC.
The winner of the auction will be the highest bid by April 26, 2014, 00:00 UTC.
Bids by private message/email (anonymous for the public) are accepted.
I reserve the right to cancel this auction or any bid at any time.
I reserve the right to extend the auction deadline.

Great, keep giving him money.
