Since everybody is giving good advice I'll play devil's advocate with some bad advice.

Come on, you don't quit when you're down, Rocky didn't quit when he lost and neither should you.

One day you will hit it big, one jackpot and you can retire for life.

You should probably diversify your gambling strategies though, move to lotto tickets, horse racing, sports betting, try to find a physical slot machine with wifi so you can bet btc while playing quarters.

The more wagers you have open at once, the more likely one of them will win. $10,000 isn't that much money anyways, it's no big deal. If you're strapped for cash just find some old furniture or something to pawn, they probably won't even notice! Donating blood/plasma is a great source of income and you can live without both of your kidneys you know! If you lost that much you are bound to have a winning streak eventually.

Keep at it and never give up!  Cool

^^ People love it!
We are getting allot of attention right now in the news.  The mayor of Zoetermeer knows about Digibyte and Guldencoin now because of the interview,
Many merchants want to try new things, Bitcoin and the blockchain is hot news and we are breaking barriers and building bridges!

Let's wait for next month when i finish the meeting with 60+ merchants  Cool

If it were me pitching to merchants I would definitely encourage them to hold at least some % of their Gulden/Digi sales.

Cryptocurrency isn't supposed to be a fiat-vehicle damnit.

No, I wouldn't bother wading through this sea of retardation if I wasn't being paid per word.

Trollbait. Don't know why people are here otherwise if you're not even interested in it.

I knew some cunt would say that.

Overrated doesn't mean Useless.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: August 13, 2015, 08:40:16 AM
Spots is a shameless criminal, hellbent on making the world a stupider place to live in for a living.

He lacks the most human part of the brain - aka the prefrontal cortex - the part of the brain responsible for empathizing with other human beings and what prevents most people from acting like utter psychopaths. Spots is without this. I would say pity him but that word holds no meaning in his lexicon. So the only thing you can do is avoid purchasing his many useless scamcoins.

First, I have no skin in his game. I don't know Mr. Spots. (If that IS your REAL name.)

I don't know what the fuck Mr. "Spots" has actually been doing with his gorilla pancreas' or whatever but -

It's totally transparent.

What he's done, as most every altcoin dev, is set a lure. That's it. People fell for it.

A brief browse of his post history shows him unapologetically calling people who were naive enough to trust in his projects idiots, this, that, the other.

Whatever, right? That's BCX and many other's positions. That's the game.
The rationale behind feigned innocence of this clone-cycle, a cyclone if you will- is that these people should have known, everything's a gamble, they were always free to not enter the game in the first place and they had the opportunity to sell with the market movement which is always, assuredly, down.

I don't know the particulars, I don't want to.

But make no mistake, it's a system which is preying on foreigners, young investors, and people with low IQs or temporary irrational decision making.

Ultimately, there is no justification for threatening Mr. Spot's Labrador. Still, you must understand Spot you kind of asked for your Labrador to get its legs broke.

Remember every dollar you take out of crypto is coming out of somebody less capable than you. People who are desperate for money will do stupid things. Those people are probably not on your cognitive level, sure, but it's not like you're doing anything worthwhile.

That said, I hope your Labrador is safe.

b. if you don't revise the privacy settings you'll end up share everything with Windows;

This is what I don't like about things like this. Everything from computers to apps to social networks all want to know as much info about you as possible so they can either sell it or capitalize on it in some way. The future looks paranoid and claustrophobic to me withe everything tracking and tracing you and not much we can do about it without refusing to use all these things.

Everybody can access the internet, more or less, not everyone can manifest it. (Build a laptop, lay data lines, program their operating system...)

What do you think is running through the mind of the men and women carrying out these horrific lone wolf attacks?

We're giving everybody a window into the universe and then expecting that they can cope with the weight of reality.

Every schizophrenic and paranoiac in the world thinks their every keystroke is logged and monitored by their own personal NSA Agent.

I have long believed this to be one of the most intricate and tortuous problems facing us as a global society.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Guncoin(GUN) - New NeoScrypt Algorithm on: August 12, 2015, 02:30:22 AM
Are there any locations that sell guns for GunCoin?

I want to shoot peopl , er... things..

A currency backed by guns, now there is some straightforward honesty. Guns were the original foundation for most fiat currencies in a roundabout way.

This is the only currency to own it.
57  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC Titan ASIC Batch 1 (some dead die) on: August 11, 2015, 10:06:40 PM

I re-read what you wrote. The gray conenctors and small ribbon cables have nothing to do with the raspb because they have mroe than enough room .
This is how they are stock so not sure where you get the idea they don't fit?

There's two items:

1) the 'stock' KNC Controller board

2) the 'Stock' raspberry pi b+ 512mb - in no way affiliated with KNC

What I'm saying is that you can't buy item 2 to be used in lieu of item 1.

So, if one lost their KNC board or bought this cube, they couldn't use a single out of the box raspberry pi as a controller board without the accompanying bridge and connectors from KNC.

You could connect a new pi b+ to the knc bridges but out of the box, this box:

You can't just open that up, power it on and use it as a standalone controller-board for your titans. You need the larger controller board only produced by KNC to connect it to. Unless I'm wrong; is there a way to run directly off a pi?

58  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC Titan ASIC Batch 1 (some dead die) on: August 11, 2015, 07:11:28 PM

I'll spare anybody the trouble, NO Raspberry Pi B+ is not a substitute for the titan controller.

Because the flat ribbon cable is slightly too large to fit between the pins. With a non-stock cable, it might work. Assuming the plastic profile surrounding the female pin connectors is thin enough.

Or you might be able to rig up a pin extension to seperate the required pins from their adjacent ones. (which get caught on the cable's plastic mold)

Ahh, yes there is a pin riser/adaptor that the raspberry pie B+ uses to sit on the controller board. You can probably get that from KNC quick and cheap.
I had my raspberry pie burn out when I bought my KNC titans, went to the local computer store, bought it for $40USD and was up and running the next day.
The Beaglebone controllers don't use the small riser/adaptor that the raspberry pie B+ needs. (Which is stock on the KNC Titans)

I'm not sure that we're entirely on the same page. Sounds to me that you're talking about how the pie sits atop the "controller". I'll clarify myself.

Notice how the pins in the back left are situated adjacent one another all down the row.

Now see how there are individual sockets of pins for the grey cables. Using a stock B+ 512  those grey cables don't fit on the pins because of how close they are.

Does anybody have a method to get a titan running on a stock pi?
59  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC Titan ASIC Batch 1 (some dead die) on: August 11, 2015, 06:23:27 PM
Games on! $404, by the way anyone have a controller for sale? Smiley I would definitely need it unless they can run on a makeshift one.

(If I can find a controller I will keep this bid in, I am actively searching)

The controller I think is the same on all KNC neptunes and titans, just the 'computer' is a Raspberry Pi B+ on the Titan and an BeagleBone on the Neptune.
There is one for sale on egay. Might work that way. IMO not worth it for one cube though.
