in this case a digital currency is still in use by the public, so only certain places that use a trading system using bitcoin. if bitcoin already known by all the people bitcoin will be made daily needs

I can use the bitcoin to buy some computer components in my country. I buy them with the bitcoin.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 02, 2017, 12:54:11 PM
Ethereum is most usable platform because of its smart contracts but current price in my fair and honest opinion are too high. There will be some correction in the market which will show some real value for the tokens. I am ready to rebuy soon but not at these current price which is unstable at lest in my opinion. It may be wrong.

I think people use it as a hedge against the bitcoin.

Ridiculous. If bitcoin really crashes, ETH will follow. The whole crypto space will follow. It will take years to get independent...
maybe..thats why im hedging into XRP...best be safe

XRP is not a decentralized currency.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: March 22, 2017, 07:34:06 PM

Whats the hash rate disparity between 8 and 4 GB memory on the 480 cards?

8 GB RX 470/480 cards almost always have faster RAM (commonly 8000 Mhz effective stuff) than 4GB cards do (commonly 6600 or 7000 Mhz effective).

So it is better to buy the 8 GB version?
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: March 06, 2017, 03:39:09 PM
for me more better investment because the investment is long-term benefits I mean that I did not have much free time because of work and investment is thought to guarantee my future life

That is especially true for the bitcoin. It has risen a lot in the past 8 years.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: February 22, 2017, 07:52:38 AM
After all these years since the emergence of the bitcoin, the possibility of a massive adoption seems to be more and more distant given the bad prestige that this coin has received. However I do believe that bitcoin will be the basis on which the next generation of money will be founded.

I know more people are having the bitcoin.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: January 06, 2017, 08:21:13 AM
No i dont think bitcoin will totally rule over the world .it will be totally different and its limitations will be more than 21 million .all the government will jointly accept and i am sure that it will not be bitcoins at all.

It will just take some time for the bitcoin to be the most popular currency.

If ETC is under attack, will that be affected?

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.1 on: December 20, 2016, 11:03:27 AM
hi.
whats diffrence between rx 480 4gb and rx 480 8 gb hashrate in eth and zcash?

No difference if the memory frequency and timing is the same.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 26, 2016, 07:14:02 PM

is that a problem?
after few hours appears incorrect data

this could be due to excessive overclocking or undervolting.

not overcklock, not undervolt, there is change bios
did not claymore 5, 6, 7 only 8

Try reducing the intensity. Use -i 5 or 4 or 3. The V8 stress the GPU more. I had the same problem with V8.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 09, 2016, 02:20:14 PM
yeah i spending bitcoin in low amount and some bitcoin i hold for the future and becuase bitcoin will be increase its price too much higher and i will be get a big profit from bitcoin in the future.

There are some cases that I don't want to spend my bitcoins and just to hold it completely. But if there is an emergency I don't have choice but to spend my bitcoins or sell it and convert it with fiat. So, after spending it I am regretting and feeling sorry that I used to sell my bitcoins when seeing the price increasing because I miss the profit.
You don't have to feel sorry, its true that right now is better to buy things with fiat instead of using bitcoin because its reevaluating itself, but by spending your coins you are helping the bitcoin economy.

bitcoin is rarely in use to buy something in each country, only the real money that we can use for now, the possibility of the future can also use bitcoin to buy something we need
Agree that someday bitcoin can we spend even in local stores not only internationally, continuous believing in bitcoin can help to make life of bitcoin to be much stronger and it would be great currency in the future.

If that happens it would be much easier and safer for us to transact using our bitcoins. You no longer need to bring cash to purchase something like in a mall or grocery stores.. I hope it will be available soon also in my country.
That might be available but the majority of people cannot benefit it, only us who are very loyal with bitcoin can get that benefits. The fact that only few of the total populations knows and adopt with bitcoin a store will not be profitable if they solely accept bitcoin instead of cash.

That could be right. The long term holders of the bitcoin will be rewarded. The longer holding the better.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 05, 2016, 09:19:51 PM
This is a wish.

That someday major gadget stores would accept Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies so that we could do away with very high excise taxes.
I would imagine the cost of gadgets like cameras would be more competitive if BITCOIN is used instead of the current paper exchanges.

Gadgets here cost more than our counterparts overseas.. and when I asked for the reason.. I was told that I belong to a very small market and the demand is lower than our neighboring countries - thus the higher cost.

But if BITCOIN may be used to buy... then perhaps the price would be much much less than what we currently see.

Please include home and office supplies and home appliances in your wish.  Grin I find it also expensive in our area including the delivery fee. If that will change maybe a lot of buyer will just stay in buying appliances here rather than getting overseas.
Once you are in business you are required to comply with the laws of a certain country where you are operating and if you say major stores they do not accept bitcoin easily unless they can make sure that they will not lose on the big price fluctuation, that is their major concern so far aside from tax issues.
But now a days, most of the merchants are protecting themselves from bitcoin price fluctuations by selling off their bitcoins immediately after a business. That must be the right solution for their problems.
Merchants are right now spending bitcoins after their business because they are not indented to make profits by saving it.
Or hiring some experts on bitcoin trading in their business
So instead to protect them from bitcoin volatile price , they might could earn more money  by trade bitcoin inside the real business
I do this method in my small business , so far working well as bitcoin price keep growing .
Most small businesses wouldn't have the spare resources to hire a bitcoin expert, not easy to find one either.
The places that do already accept bitcoin as payment need to start seeing it as a currency, not just something they need to convert.
You don't get it, you can't get away from an excise tax even if you are using a different currency even cryptocurrency if regulated by a country is taxable. A companies earning whether it is cash or not is taxable and payable with fiat. And also I don't think bitcoin can be a practical way for over the counter payments as cashiers needs to wait for the confirmations of the transaction before making the sale valid, maybe door-to-door deliveries are plausible for bitcoin payments.
Bitcoin is not practical for over the counter payment, we have paper money to take care of that unless a certain business would allow a transaction to be valid even with unconfirmed transactions. Let us just no force the issue here as bitcoin is not really for all transactions since it is only limited to a limited type of business.

Whatever people will say, but I am a satisfied user of bitcoin as it gives me more benefits.

I think it is good to have the bitcoin as internaltional trade tool. We can buy VPN or videos with bitcoin.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: October 19, 2016, 07:25:37 AM
I try to save some Bitcoins so that I could spend them afterwards.  Grin It is always better for the coins to circulate then just stay in your wallet. Spending is the best when the price is high.

If you think the bitcoin price will rise in the long term, you can save most and spend just a few.

Statement On The Hardfork To Address Spam Attacks

https://www.reddit.com/r/EthereumClassic/comments/57ipia/statement_on_the_hardfork_to_address_spam_attacks/?st=iugldwg2&sh=ad442f17

Hi everyone,
Very busy day for statements it seems but the silver lining I suppose is that lots of activity is much much better than no activity. My feed has been filled with some misconceptions by outside a parties about this protocol improvement so I wanted to state the following:
This is a protocol improvement.
This protocol improvement is very much aligned with our principles of immutability.
It has been stated by many since day 1 that protocol improvement is 100% acceptable.
The discussions taking place are about the pro's vs con's of doing it sooner as opposed to later.
General strategy and dev advice leans towards later. (Block 2,500,000 about 1 week 10-25-16)
A simple course of action recommended for ETC geth users by /u/bit_novosti
Use classic geth release (http://github.com/ethereumproject/go-ethereum/releases)
Upgrade to the latest classic geth release available at the above link shortly before planned hard fork date (2016-10-25)
For ETC parity users: continue to run parity, update to latest parity version prior to 2016-10-25.
For light wallet users (Jaxx, classicetherwallet): no change needed.
Update #1
Discussions with ETH on gitter have taken place. They are updating their release to warn users not to use their geth if users want to stay ETC.
Please voice your opinions about this matter, discussion leads to better decision making. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Cheers
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: October 09, 2016, 04:24:28 PM
Yes, ups and downs are most common for any commodity,
Blockchain fees are only going up.  Expensive transactions means less use.  Already big projects like Brave Browser that had a micropayments model are totally fucked.  Many other cool micropayments projects are also dead.  Soon the whole thing is dead too.

All this so Blockstream can offer to sell you access to their proprietary high transaction bandwidth Lightning network.  Artificial problem was created so they can sell you an unneeded solution.

The system got mugged.

It might use the Ethereum or other cheaper coins instead. The bitcoin is too expensive at the moment.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: October 09, 2016, 04:22:47 PM
Bitcoin is no way near zero, i think it wont happened in the future, and i think we still can't compare ethereum and bitcoin,  because ethereum still in early stage and bitcoin already exist for a long time, so i think ethereum won't be able to catch up with bitcoin after the hard fork incident
people is wanna for using eth caused by their volatility and using bitcoin caused by their stabilization in this time, both have a different behind that and you can't compare them at the same time and in fact people is need bitcoin and eth for making a profit for their life.

Thats right. The questions isnt "Bitcoin or Ethereum?" its "Only Bitcoin or Bitcoin and Ethereum?"

The bitcoin will be long lasting if it is developed properly. It has withstand the test of time, and people trust it.

That could be true at the moment. It is being tested by the DDos. The respose of the developers is quite good.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 23, 2016, 06:19:01 AM
If you can do both, why not do both ? Trading and investing combine will become a good synergy. So you still can earn passive income by investing and get more income on trading.

It is good to invest in some bitcoins. It is even better to use some bitcoin to trade a few good altcoins such as Monero or Ethereum.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: September 23, 2016, 06:17:06 AM
Already heard  a lot of posts like this, better use some other words. Bitcoin has faced lot of tough times, still it succeeds. On the other hand, we can say Altcoins may die.

I like your word that btc has faced tough times that is much more applicable rather than keep on saying that bitcoin is already dead. And we all know that it is not going to happen as bitcoin is going to be tougher for having a lot of investors that supports it. Especially there are lot more that are trying to consider the use of bitcoin in their industry.

The infrastructure of the bitcoin is still being built. More people are aware of the bitcoin. So its price will rise.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 09, 2016, 05:34:12 PM
At the moment the price is not moving as we would like it to move and that is also why it is dead.
The price needs to rise fast because people want to sell some Bitcoin to make money.
If price don't rise or move than why should it be considered dead? there is no point to say so. Bitcoin is just like other assets whose movement depends upon supply and demand. So in future demand will be high for sure where as supply of bitcoin is getting lower day by day. Price for sure, gonna increase in upcoming years. Bitcoin shouldn't be considered dead just by looking at its price.

Bitcoin is currently at $620 level so how can one say its dead? We cannot say that it is dead till it goes to zero level in future and I don't think that will ever happen.

When somebody wants to buy the bitcoin cheaper, they will say the bitcoin is dead and persuade other people to sell.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 LIR equal to $1 on: September 09, 2016, 05:32:30 PM
very long time is price LIR one dollar every one coin LIR
althought is very dificult but posible

If the LIR behaves like most of the scam coins, the price will go to zero. But if it is developed properly, $1 is possible.
