41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Universal Basic Income Altcoin Idea on: February 26, 2017, 08:26:38 PM
Are they still active? No listed exchanges, forum doesn't work and the wp website only had 2 apparent updates on 11 may and somewhere in june 2016...
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VLT | Veltor | Minimalism. on: February 25, 2017, 08:27:04 PM

I don’t get what this drama is all about.
Everything has been explained.

Anyone in doubt at this stage should obviously not commit to the project until the new codebase is released.

J.V.

Wow, this reminds me of exactly J.C.'s style of dismissing any criticism.

Also the way the coin has been developed (extremely long accumulation period at next to 0 market cap) then pump is reminiscent of Vcash/Vanilla.

Also, he signs messages same way and both coins start with V.

Looks pretty damning from that perspective. I haven't seen any actual explanation either (typical for JC).

Good luck getting on Polo or anywhere legit if this is all true.

Wow, this reminds me of typical FUD coming from someone supporting a competing project in value exchange via off-chain state channel management.

Also the way it is one can tell.

Looks pretty damning from that perspective. I haven't seen any actual explanation either (typical FUD).

Good luck and may the better tech prevail.
Lol best answer ever, always funny to see people take so much time writing something that according to what they write is not worth the time... Somekind of a paradox or what do smart people call it
43  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: February 25, 2017, 01:17:40 AM
My withdrawal was confirmed without any acceleration. It was included into a blocked mined by AntPool, I don't know if this was a coincidence, it was not the first block mined by AntPool after the withdrawal (it was 4th).

It was probably a coincidence. The bitcoin mempool is slightly less congested today than yesterday. But it is still pretty bad.
Wouldn't it be in their advantage to mine their own transactions? (cfr: hashnest user's transactions,...)
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: February 24, 2017, 12:19:31 AM
...
My problem is that I was trying to move some funds from my "wallet" at Hashnest to somewhere else. I have no control over how much transaction fee their wallet assigns to my withdraw transaction. Hashnest definitely profited a little from the fee they charged me to withdraw. Although it was only a little over 15K sats.
Well, hopefully this does attract their attention, the fees included in bitcoin withdrawals has been a problem in more than 1 exchange as I have seen so far. But well, it is though if you can't choose your own amount of fee Smiley

But hey, BTC did reach ATH today.

Well, the number of unconfirmed Tx's has broken an all time high as well Grin

It's way past due time for the Bitcoin world to wake up, and resolve this seemingly endless issue regarding block sizes and stuff  Roll Eyes
Well, it's in times of crisis most work is done. And well you can't really call it crisis with a price as the current. If possible, just add a 20-30k fee per transaction and you should be fine

Couldn't you just tell me because that was hard work reading Angry  It looks like the minimum target will be reached upon the first round before anything has been released. So many burned Vidz  Cool
If you don't want to investigate your coins, please throw your btc at ppl in yobit

48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / VPS/RDP for bitcoin core (+...) client on: February 21, 2017, 09:27:02 PM
Hi,

So I'm new to using VPS and RDP's and had these questions regarding them:

1. I was wondering if any of you have any good recommendations for VPS/RDP connections from where I could run a full bitcoin core client (and eventually also others like eth/xmr,...) The idea would be to have a constantly up-to-date own version of the blockchain and wallet that I could connect to from anywhere with an internet connection.
2. Is there a way to automatically distribute incoming payments? Cfr: I send 1 BTC to my main address, but I would like to put, lets say, 5% aside from every payment I send to that address? From what I find on google, the only way to do this is by writing my own script to constantly check my bitcoind wallet balance. Just curious if there are other perhaps more easier, options Smiley or perhaps some elaborate explanation about how to run the script etc...
3. Is there a way to send an amount of coins at a given time in the future as in future payments? From every wallet i have used so far, you can only send payments at the same time you're filling it out...

Thanks in advance!

still believe that you are the same person like vidz

and you think that split for a story

and now untill your ico ends

i believe no news from the other dev
which is you final

Why he would do that? For second crowdfund? PVidz had the same goals and work was done, why he would gather money for the same work, when he can use pvidz sources?

He said that he created second project just to do better forum service (fun service) his communication skills are worth every penny

wow, so one just needs to be able to speak some coherent English and you are ready to throw money at him....

good to know that the adage that "a fool and his money are soon parted" still holds true.....
Is there a thread you don't spam with your bs?
Anyway, Invested my own part, will see where it goes. Just hope these damn pokemons will die by the time your project is going places...

Do you get same amount of atmos if you invest the first day as if you invest the last day of this first round?? Or does the price per atmos rise during ico??

If you pay in BTC price will be the same. Burning VIDZ is for now to expensiv. Really better wait round 1 and dont invest. If DEV dont run away you can invest in second round.
U dont risk than much money. Dont trust these DEV. He fucked us up with VIDZ

Im waiting for dev to burn his 7mil VIDZ to invest in Novus
He already has, check https://chainz.cryptoid.info/vidz/address.dws?VidzBurnAddrForTheNovusphereZEZyCQ.htm

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 11, 2017, 09:36:42 PM
There have been some very BOLD statements in the last few replies to this Thread! Do the people saying the dev has disappeared/quit and/or this Coin is a scam have any real proof to backup their statements? It's really bad etiquette to make claims of that nature without having anything to back them up..
I'm afraid that's what the world has turned into hasn't it... They probably have got nothing better to do than boring people here that are interested in the scope and the development of this project. But well, your FUD is helping me fill my lower placed baskets so I'm not complaining. Haters gonna hate  Cool
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 11, 2017, 12:28:49 PM
BE AWARE:

DEV IS NOT ANYMORE INVOLVED.

LOOK THEIR SLACK

They are trying and hoping to get Purevidz as community coin and wanted to develop themself´s.
BUT Purevidz is a zentralized coin without necassary. You cant use it untill now for nothing.

Also if DEV close the Website Price will go to zero.

Haha, had to make an account just to laugh at you. You have either been burned so hard by your bad trading or you are just very lousy and unskilled troll..

Either way I love the way things are heading for vidz, strong community and a great dev who only lacks some communication but does his work so far!!

I want only warn everyone before got scammed. I make nice Profits thx and got out at around 1600 so for me is everythink nice.

But only 2 or 3 BIG HOLDERS STARts dump and Price is it 300
Isn't that like always when you start a friggin ICO? Love it or hate it but stop spamming your fucking bs every other post on this thread. When the project develops, more people will get to know the project, why waste all your friggin time in hating on a project that is, guess what, looking pretty fuckin nice for the time spent on it so far.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 03, 2017, 09:14:27 PM
Will VIDZ be added to any other exchanges in the near future??

does that really matter?

stop tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. Grin
Well, I am waiting for an exchange other than yobit or cryptopia to trade my vidz...
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 03, 2017, 02:10:32 PM
I think we need bounties to doxx and kill any so called traders who pollute the chat with talk about price. Start with that, it will improve cryptocurrencies world in general. Assholes think they can go into these forums and spam it by copying prices everyone already knows. I think they should be doxxed, skinned and burned alive, until they beg for suicide. Only good yobit trader is a dead yobit trader.

hey buddy. ive been in the crypto space for over 4 years. yes, this is my new account but not my first rodeo on bct.  Grin

straight up about the exchanges...

screwed at gox
screwed at mintpal
screwed with coin base fall 2013 because they rejected everyones orders that one friday when bitcoin went from 230 to 800 then back down
to 350 only to return to 700 all within 5 hours
crypsi f'ed everyone and polo gained their customer base making polo the exchange it is today
bittex screwed people by being down
polo screwed people by being down
bitfinex screwed people when hacked...the list goes on and on

but all these years, i never had an issue with yobit.
the tide is changing again, learn history Wink

I think he's just referring to the average yobit trader, not the platform per se
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 02, 2017, 05:35:14 AM

...

I think I can find over 30 posts on this thread from different people who say that they are amazed at the quality of the videos and the website (implying they had little idea that this standard exists) when there have been websites with identical or even better quality/GUI that have been active for a year + - so it is pretty safe to say a lot of people are under the same assumption. You really can't contest that so take that bass out of your tone.

Don't think I'm not on your side. I would just like to get some answers. What happens tomorrow when I approach a media outlet and they raise a point like this? I am not going to bullshit about VIDZ to execute the strategy I see fit for it to garner exposure. I believe that it does have some technical advantage and differentiation and would like to have dev clarify this.

Thanks devs

Probably the devs have got better things to do like working on the project instead of replying or commenting to every question or doubt someone of the community has. I think the info section and the white paper cover more than enough information for the time being. You know what is going to happen, when it's supposed to happen, you know when the devs get their investment cut...

As for the streaming part, I have indeed never had such a quality of streaming, and this without advertisements? Haven't tested your sites too much but the buffering is a lot faster at purevidz than most I know off...
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎥 PureVidz.net: Decentralized Streaming WebTorrents 🎥 VIDZ - Trading Now 🎥 on: February 01, 2017, 11:58:36 PM
Is there a (small) how-to-stake guide? I've send an amount to my windows wallet and as far as I understand it, it needs 250 confirmations, do I still need to do something afterwards? Or do you automatically 'enroll' after 250 confs?
thanks

I received a total 653 email messages regarding "Remote Login Reminder" which states my activity which is really not my own operation.

Some of the locations are:

Japan; Kanagawa; Yokohama
Thailand; Krung Thep Maha Nakhon; Bangkok
Korea, Republic of; Daegu; Taegu
Japan; Tokyo; Tokyo

Do you think this a fraud attempt and the person involved are using VPN? What does this mean? Is Hashnest now a target?
I would guess they (the attempting person(s) ) have your email address and attempted 653 times to access your account :p perhaps make a note of that to hashnest
