Hey ppl, unfortunately this is another JC aka John Connor aka Julian Cain scam. errrr, what the actual fuck? This J.V could be The J.C from Vcash, the crazy dev who scammed a lot of investors, promised moon and then dumped on followers and desappears. His name is Julian Ashley Cain aka John Connor. More about him in this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1704503.0Is this another FUD attempt to buy VLT low? feel sorry for anybody who sells this so low. but love your amazing CSI detective work at deducing JC is JV. I don't see any similarity in the language and speech patterns... But the fact remains that there is nothing here except a new hashing algo, "shiny objects" + yobit listing.

Hey ppl, unfortunately this is another JC aka John Connor aka Julian Cain scam. I have no idea what you are talking about, but the explanation for the same address is simple. Somebody used the same private key on both chains. Since the prefix, hashing and address format is the same for Veltor and Vcash, an identical key obviously leads to an identical address. Are you guys just ignoring this explanation?

That address is either ocminer's or saymissme's. I'm pretty sure ocminer is not john-connor so that would clear the owner of the address up if that's the case, but obviously the VLT dev is anon.

Hi, anyone know what is the estimate mining cost for 1 VLT as of right now?
I would be interested in knowing this too as currently only are few produced a day and the mining difficulty is increasing. http://yiimp.ccminer.org/site/mining0.04btc/MH/Day 10GH Is current Network 15*48 720 VLT a day. Example: RX480 around 20MH at 150W Example of price of electricity: 30cents$ kWh 20MH costs 4.5 cents/hour to operate. 20MH is 0.2% of the current network, meaning you get 0.2% of the reward. Mining 2 blocks on average -> 30 VLT per hour 0.2% of 30 VLT is 0.06VLT 0.06 VLT is 0.042 Cents. Mining 1 VLT costs 0.78 Cents at 30 Cents per kWh. So, mine VLT if you have cheap electricity below 25 Cents per kWh, else... buy. i have 1070 that gives me about 36-40 MHS at 150 W with 0.05$ per kWh so - i want to mine it=) How do you reach 40mh/s with one 1070 ? What mining software and settings do you use ?

After all it looks like Suprnova pool "copy/paste" same "config" from Vcash and add proper address later or something like that (I'm not pool operator at all). First and next mined blocks by the pool are 215+ to VsTVny...RaqdVr and previous 214 (just 4:35min before) to VmZkC4...mkwfgM which was also Suprnova address used in Vcash since block 72490 (BE link). Planet is safe now. If I'm wrong, you can PM me your story.

Just a little advice, take it or not. Anyone falling into this fud or pump and dump drama and liquidating their coins is a fool. When the new codebase is released this will be one of the top projects to follow. DYOR and see. Play the swings, whatever. But if you doubt the legitimacy of this project then that's your choice. Those who stick around and back it will happy they did. This is one of only a few projects that have a new vision, not some shitcoin clone. Trading is about making money, but as BTC has just taught many sometimes holding long term is the better option. I know what I'm doing.

Wow, this reminds me of exactly J.C.'s style of dismissing any criticism. Also the way the coin has been developed (extremely long accumulation period at next to 0 market cap) then pump is reminiscent of Vcash/Vanilla. Also, he signs messages same way and both coins start with V. Looks pretty damning from that perspective. I haven't seen any actual explanation either (typical for JC). Good luck getting on Polo or anywhere legit if this is all true.

Wow, this reminds me of typical FUD coming from someone supporting a competing project in value exchange via off-chain state channel management. Also the way it is one can tell. Looks pretty damning from that perspective. I haven't seen any actual explanation either (typical FUD). Good luck and may the better tech prevail. Lol best answer ever, always funny to see people take so much time writing something that according to what they write is not worth the time... Somekind of a paradox or what do smart people call it

So, wheres the explanation? If same private key was used twice, once on Vcash, that is definitely suspicious, no? Oh well, even if its JC, you probably have a weak/lame pump coming before he dumps it -80%

The way I see it is if this is J.C., the market on Yobit won't give a shit either way if J.V. actually delivers on what he has promised. Full disclosure, I am holding 1900 VLT so maybe I just want to believe............

Sunday update:
I have a feeling that people have become too emotional regarding my project. I am just going to say that I won't waste time arguing, I will spend it coding. I will also use this opportunity to set the right expectations: the new Veltor client will not be released any time soon. I spent a lot of time designing the perfect blockchain for the lightning network. I always knew where I was going, I now know exactly how to get there. I will let the code do the talking. On to the relevant stuff. The technical design of the Veltor blockchain is done. As the lightning network will be built into the blockchain, it is intrinsically superior to other approaches. It's not the lightning network anymore, it is something better. I decided to call it the Veltor Donar Network. There are a number of advantages that are only possible with native blockchain support: J.V.
