41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 15, 2021, 02:27:35 AM
I see a lot of groups where the smart approach being ignored while the straight forward and simple approach on trading are more relevant since its easier to understand, but these straight forward are too simple to be effective all the time and doesn't give you information of how to capitalize on market movement.

Do you have any Facebook page or in any kind of social media that has someone who gives you a warning when you trade or not? I have been in many Facebook groups but its not what I am looking for.

I never has seen any of this on social media, I've seen a lot of trading seminars which some are free but I think they're exclusive on some certain countries. I don't think you can find it either since most traders has portfolio to follow and it does not restrict market movement so no matter how much the change on their investments are they will stick on that portfolio, which means most of them don't predict nor estimates the market.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: April 11, 2021, 08:13:52 AM
A time frame is essential in discussing which is more lucrative. If it will be based daily you can earn more into gambling since its more about luck and less of a chances where in trading you manipulate that chances for your favor, you can earn as much as possible in gambling instantly as long as you're not scared of losing. The conclusion is gambling gives more profit but has higher risk while day trading gives you more chances of earning and less risk.

You can always wait for the bullish trend and withdraw for profit. There is always a chance for some crypto currencies to go bankrupt but one is less likely to encounter such downfall with a bit of research.

This makes day trading for me more lucrative, it doesn't necessarily give you more profit rather it gives you different paths to manipulate your capital while in gambling you only have 2 end roads which is either profit or loss.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Altcoins on: March 13, 2021, 06:18:23 PM
Bitcoin is more stable profit or you can also say its pretty standard so you are quite sure that you'll earn the problem is how much, Bitcoin can truly give you profit regardless and the only thing why you should still invest in altcoins is that they have higher ratio in terms of profit but does not always benefits, if you're okay as being assured then getting most of your assets to Bitcoin is a better option but if you want more option with higher possibility with high risk you should consider focusing more in altcoins. Altcoins beats Bitcoin in terms of income once you handled market well.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: March 08, 2021, 07:58:50 PM
You can always trade without a proper knowledge about how market works but it doesn't usually end well, without knowing the mechanics of the market lowers the traders success of getting any profit with just buying and checking if anything comes out of it is the worst case scenario on traders, because it can be considered more as a gamble than trade since you buy hoping only on the chances of it going up not considering the factor of when will it go up or when should one buy.

I did it when I started hearing about cryptocurrencies the first time and it did not end up well, the reason is that I constantly check the markets movement, and the feel of regret every time my assets goes a bit lower is preventing me to gain any profit at all.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 08, 2021, 07:42:58 PM
100k is too much for a constantly used coin the market cap has some bearings that regularly used coin cannot surpass, the predictions is a bit assumptious but I cannot say that it is impossible math is congruent and should not be underestimated, though it indicates that eth with price of 100k is near impossible but hoping it to go higher would not be as bad as not giving it try. Eth has been known to just go under the roof of bitcoin and if it ever has to happen bitcoin would have been the standard currency we would use.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: February 23, 2021, 02:52:08 AM
The best thing you can do as a beginner is to get as much information as possible, FOMO can never be out of the conversation it will always affects trading in a certain way since its not always a bad thing, if you can control your emotion and approach things intellectual you'll do good. I usually use a 3 days rule where I will use the 3 days to decide if I should or not buy a coin, I call it testing water where if the have a positive market range in that 3 day span then that's where I buy.

49  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people claim cryptocurrencies aren’t an asset? on: October 17, 2020, 06:34:42 PM
Let's look at how "asset" is conventionally defined:

Quote
An asset is a resource with economic value that an individual, corporation, or country owns or controls with the expectation that it will provide a future benefit.

An economic resource is something that is scarce and has the ability to produce economic benefit by generating cash inflows or decreasing cash outflows.

Assets can be broadly categorized into short-term (or current) assets, fixed assets, financial investments, and intangible assets.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/asset.asp

Even if local laws don't recognize cryptocurrency as a financial investment, it should be recognized an intangible asset, since it can be liquidated for cash value despite having no physical presence or official legal recognition.

That doesn't necessarily mean BTC holders have adequate legal rights (equal to regulated security or bond holders, for example) everywhere, but common sense tells me that is the direction things are headed. It just may take a decade or two for common sense regulation to take hold.

In other countries cryptocurrencies is at a weird spot because its either illegal or not being recognized by government, and as indicated for cryptocurrencies to be called an asset it has to produce economic benefit and currently I don't see that coming, first of all the law prevents cryptocurrencies from being legal since there is no way of taxing it and if it ever happen that there would be a way to tax it, it would require personal information to be given which will eliminate the feature of cryptocurrencies such as Transparency and Anonymity. In addition cryptocurrencies are unlike any other assets since as long as there are projects being created there would be an unlimited supply.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 17, 2020, 06:24:38 PM
The best technique for building a strong crypto portfolio is to mix things up.
Survival in this market landscape is reliant on adaptability.
you choose what to do depending on how we see the market.
Sometimes you buy and hold for the long term, other times, you take short time trades to get big profit.
I Also take some calculated risks on new projects BTC

Investment is no joke, they're investors losing so much just by trusting their portfolio. Adapting to the market is common but effective yet you'll see less profit out of it, and in able to be good at investing experiencing and practicing new strategies are the best way to learn, same as other it doesn't have any short cuts but if you do want one you'll have to pay for it big time and expect the profit to cover the cost of it, and last thing is that calculated risk is harder than it sound but if it can make your profit probability go higher even at least 2-5% that's not bad.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that would make a good short term #HODL on: September 27, 2020, 03:51:48 PM
Short term and HODL? What is the correlation between those two?

Based on Google, HODL is:
Quote
HODL is slang in the cryptocurrency community for holding the cryptocurrency rather than selling it. A person who does this is known as a Hodler (baghodler, ex-hodler, landhodler).
So, that means you are holding your coins for future profit and also that means it is for long-term run. Making a list about short term altcoin but putting #HODL hashtag on it just makes everything feel redundant.
What the op means is easy to understand, every word doesn't have to be literal the purpose was easy to get as long as users understand what he wants to indicate I don't see a problem there. To explain everything again everyone know what hodl and I suppose its the reason why op indicated that its for short term. Short-term hodl or selling your crypto in a short time period is as good as hodl long enough to earn a decent amount of profit.

Almost every altcoin in the top order will assure with good short term profit. This can't be achieved with small volume of holdings, higher the volume of holding will result with better profit. For a short term profit with low investment/holding needs luck, because it isn't easy to predict exactly which cryptocurrency or the newly launched project bounce high.
I totally agree, without a decent capital short-term hodling is just same as gambling where you put your crypto with uncertain to minimal loss which is not a good way to invest. I would rather hodl longer and wait for it to grow than taking what I can get every time your crypto ascents, the only chance of someone getting a decent profit with a low capital will be picking the worst crypto that is recently getting some attention.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SERUM Prediction on: September 25, 2020, 04:37:14 PM
https://digitalcoinprice.com/coins/serum

This currency has not yet reached peak price. What is your prediction? When will the price reach the highest value?

Is it potential?

I don't see it going further in the future I guess it would take a month or two then it will slowly decay and fade away, currently $3 is a good ceiling it lost over a $1 and I suggest its the nick of time to buy since I see it going upwards again the highest possible would be $5 going further than that would be unrealistic, if the hype continues it will only in either to the moon or be dumped completely the possibility of it being in stable is quite low.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: September 25, 2020, 04:25:17 PM
I would rather pay more attention to different articles with fair reliability but it still depends on what you mean by active telegram groups, if having many messages in telegram group would be your basis it doesn't impact that much since telegram groups are more active with questions that is simple and direct which don't imply that it is an active project, I see bounties that offers a crypto just for you to ask a question to their telegram.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 24, 2020, 04:22:21 PM
It seems to me that even now the fees are quite high. In any case, I think they will be much lower in the future. Because new technologies will be invented and the number of transactions will increase significantly.
I don't think the fee will be low in the future...
I noticed that Bitcoin fees are basically stable, it's just that the value sometimes changes according to the Bitcoin price, if in the future the Bitcoin price reaches $ 50k it will automatically follow that, and most likely the Bitcoin transaction fee will be more than $ 5.

That's true, the transaction fee is based on the current price and for me no matter how much it will go it will stay balanced to the current users but the issue is that new investors will hesitate if the transaction fee would be too high, yes for the current holders the fee doesn't affect them that much and it would set an unbalance volume between holders and new investors. It is inevitable to change any of the system but I think the current state is reliable unless bitcoin would go too high for transaction fee to be unrealistic, imagine transferring your coins into another wallet would costs you $5.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: September 07, 2020, 07:53:15 PM
Its currently on a correction market though its not as bad as it can be, since in market its all green from the alts while bitcoin is somehow struggling to maintain its 5 digit value and then there's the holiday season which always directly affects bitcoin regardless of the situation. In conclusion bitcoin would be at a good shape until mid December but I don't see it falling off too low.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Tanks to $10.4K; ETH Market Dominance at 2020 High on: September 06, 2020, 05:01:44 PM
As I see, BTC is following the stockmarket trajectory this time. The markets are down too. Just brace yourself and HODL

Exactly. I must have repeated this at least 5 times in different threads where clueless people were writing stupid questions like "is bitcoin dying?" or "did the whale manupulate the market?".

The stock market regained a lot after the corona crash and people are taking profits now especially since a second wave of corona is expected to appear. Bitcoin was rejected at 12k and is not strong enough to ignore stocks and go up.

ETH might be high in dominance but it still falls when Bitcoin falls. It's too weak to ignore Bitcoin like all other major altcoins.

ETH went down from $480 to $350 so it lost more than BTC. How is that a strong, dominant coin?

That is no dominance, the fact that ETH continued to go down has been bothering since the moment it hit a certain point it goes down as fast and goes lower than the recent ceiling, thus dominance is rather an absurd word to use I would call it redemption since it is going well at least like it used to, since the moment it hit $1,4k in 2017 it suddenly goes down then in 2019 the highest is $800 then it slowly went downwards and never really had a chance to go back from the same level as those years.

58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: August 03, 2020, 04:48:24 PM
This is an honest call to everyone to start treating this great invention as it's meant to be - digital money. Including crypto news websites and youtubers who think that putting higher expected bitcoin price in the title will bring more clicks (and sadly, it usually does).

One says 1 million USD in 1 year, another says 10 million USD and so on... stop it, please. You are doing it wrong.

With banks and mobile wallets popping out and adopting to internet era there is no way that bitcoin could be used for transaction like being considered as "money" investors started appreciating it as investment and I don't see that it is a bad thing, imagine it was 2009 where it is being ignored before everyone started realizing that bitcoin has a great potential as an investment rather than a currency to be used for daily transaction.

Currently its value makes it more popular and alive if ever bitcoin never really became less of an asset then it wouldn't have became as dominant as of today.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was the first-ever ICO you’ve invested? on: August 03, 2020, 04:28:57 PM
I've remember it was the year that the cryptocurrencies bloomed (2017), I earn some good fortune in campaign and after earning some I saw TaaS and risk investing even though I don't know much of the trading. I guess it was worth it since everything went well after that and been able to take some reasonable profit and excluding the coins I get from bounty I probably got 150% return investment.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunting tips for newbie in joining bounty campaign. on: August 03, 2020, 04:23:50 PM
3. If the team offering the bounty hunters to pay a small amount for the bounty hunters to process the rewards then pretty sure they are scam. They just trying to scam even the bounty hunters.

I've never seen anything like this but if you encountered one that must have been difficult for him to pursue you, since the main reason you want to join bounty is to earn for free if you're willing to let go of any resources you currently have I think you'd rather invest or trade.
