If the holders of outstanding b1 debt were prepared to accept that repayments only started after 'M' reached a certain valuation, would you be prepared to negotiate further (i.e. you started repaying when the Game has recovered such that you could sell M for bitcoin to repay the b1 debts, and you could still retain a large stake in the Game).
I understand paying bitcoin NOW while the Game valuation is low might be unacceptable to you given your current level of CK losses, but are you prepared to honour the b1 debts contingent on the Game recovering?
I think if the CK marketcap reached 10M USD, you could start repaying the b1 debt as bitcoins, fully honouring the debts, PLUS, you would still hold a sizeable % of the Game, which is fair and proper, given all you have done to create CK.
10M USD marketcap for CK is 100% achievable with everyone working together again.

If you can resolve the b1 debt issue, you can get back control of your user accounts - then you can 'battle' the forces of darkness you mention inside the Game - isn't that better than walking away?
I'm sure many b1 creditors would accept a compromise settlement that offers 'some' chance of them being paid, AND, you'd get your chance to meet your 'enemies' in the field.
Isn't that what you want, a chance to defeat those who did this to you?

So far I haven't received any responses to my thread advertising for an escrow for Gringotts depository.
I'm considering how best to proceed from here, I can setup BTC & XMR deposit wallets myself, but service levels will be basic at best, and security of funds will be a MAJOR issue. I've been hacked multiple times in the last 5 years, plus my health is very poor (2x heart attacks + minor stroke since CK commenced in 2014), so please be aware of this if you decide to send me funds. If I die or get hacked you will lose your money.
The end point for Gringotts will ideally have it acting as an automated neutral market maker in whatever asset(s) ends up being the entry/exit points for the Game (a substitute for the Coinshop).
If that asset ends up being CKG, or another deposit share like BO, then Gringotts will provide liquidity in those markets.
My goal is simple - to help re-connect CK with the larger crypto economy - and I will try and support any efforts in that direction.
@Karl Hungus, I respect your candour, good luck with your health! I'll give you my opinion, I've been following Crypto Kingdom for sometime now, and have always planned to invest when an exchange traded token became available. I always saw the depo saddam operated as an interim solution for deposits/withdrawals while the exchange token was being organised, so IMO I think you trying to launch another depository is an inferior option, the better option is to back HMC's bounty for getting CKG listed on a reputable exchange. Even a reliable escrow becomes a single point of failure in the minds of investors, if you get CKG listed on polo or bittrex the outcome is much better for security, usability and speculation, so it'll attract new players and speculators, plus it lets people convert ALL alt coins into the traded CK asset, not just btc and xmr. Just my 2 cents |

I do concede that a CKG blockchain asset traded on a reputable exchange might make depo shares redundant, so if HMC's bounty is successful it would be unambiguously better than the current situation.
There's nothing wrong with having both depo shares AND CKG traded on external exchanges at the same time, the thing is to get any on/off ramp up and running before people lose interest in CK all together. Depo shares maybe forever tainted by risto's actions, so a blockchain asset is probably more acceptable now IMO, and CKG comes with a bounty that doesn't require taxing people, or changing any rules, so it looks the best candidate. |

Crypto Kingdom: A New Hope?
Crowdfund, TEC, and Other Ramblings...
Alright, so my last little bit of hopium has burned out. Funny how I thought I was entering the game at the lowest point during the extended pause, but all this depository business seems to have left us at an even lower point.
At this stage, I feel we have two options. Just wait and wait and eventually see this game/concept die, or do something to revitalize the game. Let me share a few random thoughts and people can discuss more on here or on IRC/slack.
We need a development fund (composed of BTC, XMR, or something with good liquidity). There can be a multipronged approach as to how this is raised. We can do a crowdfund of current CK players for, say, $30k - $50k in donations. We could also either dilute (by issuing more "M") or look towards takeover of certain in-game M assets and use those for a crowdsale/token exchange campaign.
With these funds, we can engage with a development firm or team to handle the coding and user interface (maybe even game art) aspects. Game "design" can be handled by interested CK players.
I would also recommend open source (at least in terms of a private repo for trusted users) and tokenization of one or more of the CK assets (such as M and gold).
I have recommended a team that has both blockchain and game design experience on the Slack channel.

That's a good plan, but what happens with rpietila, if he's still around as the largest CK whale the question becomes how do you get him inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in. He looks about as reliable as Andreas Lubitz at the moment. |

The real sticking point is Zechariah - will he honour his debts, what happens to his game account, will he return as GM ?
How long before Zech's game assets and markka are seized & distributed to his creditors? Has a decision been made yet? We know he has funds on polo, so if he doesn't pay soon then likely he wont, so what will happen then? I'm owed nothing myself, but assuming the creditors would prefer to get something rather than nothing, it might actually kickstart the game enough to have people playing again if creditors get a share of Zechs assets and 900Billion markka. Changelog shows nothing is really happening now. |

If they're holding Waves token in their Waves wallet they will! So Coinomat investors miss out again! People who own Sasha's NXT based assets should be given WCT too, in hindsight everyone would have swapped their NXT assets to Waves if they knew it would be nearly 12 months with no dividends, and no airdrops like WCT. Eventually Sasha has to deal with this issue, and it will be messy, but it's not going to resolve itself. Promises were made to those who didn't swap, and so far they haven't been met. |
