41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN] NodeBase (NDB) The Home for Your Masternodes🔥 on: January 13, 2019, 06:06:59 PM
It's a nice concept to be monitored by a professional team; some members are from Tunisia as first Tunisians in Blockchain based projects AFAIK.
I would definetly support this project as the updates are in the right advanced way.

why don't you fix the issues on your Github even though they are acknowledged? I want to build on a more modern Ubuntu, 16.04 is no longer the current LTS.
Raise your concerns in discord.
Dev tems is very active in the discord channel rather than other channels or you can just wait response from OP during the publishement of the weekly updates.
42  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing walletBouncer, a new Bitcoin wallet monitoring service on: January 13, 2019, 05:43:58 PM
The website is fine working for me now, this developement area is something new for me (have no knowledge about it before). I would like to discuss many details but as a newbie user. May be i will use the website support or start a new topic here in bitcointalk foum.

Who said most BTC users use android? And why should it matter?
This was mentioned by the OP himself as it is the reason why he will lunch the android version of the app.

I don't think you understood what the app does.
Yess, i was a little bit confused about it; i thought it's a btc wallet.
As always, you correct me Smiley
43  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Online store with Ethereum payments on: January 13, 2019, 05:42:47 PM
So, as i understood, you are willing to build the good reputation by the merchant's reputations themselves. Merchants won't value theirs with no garantees at new-comer website; you should build a trusted community which trust you and your team should have members responsible for promotion backed by a clear marketing strategy.
In the services/goods boards of this forum, you can find a lot of them; i suggest you to spread the world about the services you offer and receive feedbacks directly from the community.
44  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned on: January 13, 2019, 10:54:05 AM
The two alts mentioned by user Khaled0111 are not yet autobanned according to bpip statistics data.

Autoban for the two confirmed alts should appears in the ModLog.

Thanks everybody for keeping the forum a clean/safe place Smiley

because in my account I only see the possibility of spam and plagiarism.
The possibilities you consider are the main reason to kick you out of here.
As you have knowledge about what you may had done, go check by yourself !

After all, why you look so confident saying that sentence? Shame on you old Pajeet.
46  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Online store with Ethereum payments on: January 11, 2019, 10:47:13 PM
I tried it in Opera navigator. No content, nor graphics in the one website's page but this short text:

Quote
This online store allows payment processing on the Ethereum mainnet. While test.php does the same on the test network ropsten. If you are a buyer, please do not expect delivery of items advertised on test.php. If you are a seller, please refrain from advertising on the live system items that you do not intend to ship. Please use a web browser with web3 capabilities to make payments: Opera browser for Android, or Metamask plugin for Google Chrome.

Sellers
Buyers
A contract consists of one payable function that disburses payments among sellers and compensates website for contract's deployment. Contract is compiled by a solc compiler in the background and deployed by the same background task. Once the receipt is obtained for the transaction that deployed a payment contract, a JavaScript code is inserted into the cart page to facilitate payment to the contract.
Please Email any questions or suggestions you may have.

I didn't try the php test link in the text.

A paiement platform using ethereum requires advanced skills and garantees, would you confirm your honest reputation?
47  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing walletBouncer, a new Bitcoin wallet monitoring service on: January 11, 2019, 10:23:17 PM
The website can't be reached.
Seems the website's server IP adress could not be found.
I used three browsers.

If most btc users have android platform, why did you start with app store?

Let us know about dates of future updates and releases.

Why should i pay for premium membership in order to get new addresses? Looks that users will not have access for their private keys. Right?

Against whom you fight here?
It's explained that you can't break rules. Plagiarism is against forum rules. Harsh to repeat it for you over and over again that you are a banned user as you can't also use this account or any other account expect in meta to discuss the situation.

Just use the forum as a silent guest, it's not that necessary to post.
49  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitify Escrow is Scam | bitify.com on: January 08, 2019, 01:27:57 PM
According to the evidence that you didn't receive any response from support or receive the refund, this can be described as a confirmed scam. [I haven't seen a lot of complaints about Bitify at all.]
But i found a similar case where bitify solved the case after several days.
I think you have to check it : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4617764.0

If the problem persist, please move this thread to Scam Accusations board; The move command is in the left down of this page.
50  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: send or not send? using bitpay on: January 06, 2019, 10:40:49 PM
We can say that paysafecard is a scam only according to that TrustPilot page where posters doesn't provide enough details to confirm the scam attempt. Paysafegroup is a big compagny with a good rate. I didn't find accusations against it, only by users having big issues.
I also regularly deposit my bitcoin to Neteller (through BitPay) for NameCheap services and have never faced issues.
51  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generate New BTC address with private key on: January 06, 2019, 10:17:55 PM
you don't need an API for that. An address is (not all, but basically) the hash of a public key. The public key is derived from a private one. The private key is just a random number. In order to have 1000 addresses, you just need to generate 1000 random numbers : it's the whole point of Bitcoin, you don't ask for a Bitcoin account (ask an API or anything), you generate one. I made a quick explanation here if you want to implement it, it just takes about 30 lines of code and you take control over your money  Wink .

Besides, I think you are confused with what is a wallet. A wallet is an interface to the Bitcoin network : it stores your addresses and private keys and uses them to craft transactions. Once you generated your key pairs yourself, you just need an (open source) wallet to interact with the Bitcoin network.
Thanks for this simple nice explanation Smiley

For someone who don't understand the basics of how Bitcoin transactions work, why/how you need 1000 private keys at once? May be you think to create an online wallet (like blockchain.com) and find the way to funds of others (scam them).  What are you trying to accomplish?

Did you read my answer ? I don't have the absolute truth but these journalist-marketing-like affirmations are not accurate.

I just noticed your answer darosior, yes you are right and your response is great helpful. I was just trying to help OP by referring to my own researches as i also keep asking about where to start learning how to code for blockchain. And afaik, c/c++ are mandatory to start programming for newbies as it for professionals, are guides and tutorials helpful to master such a complicated language? what do i also need to start learning c/c++ ?? I still think there is a difference gap between free courses and paied ones. The question stil remain the same; where to start?
55  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: im looking to sell bitcoin 10,000 and 500,000 seperate deals on: January 05, 2019, 02:02:44 PM
Reffering to the OP post history, it's pretty clear that he is just trying to catch one or more victim by posting in different board sections.

it is a lot of coins but obviously transactions will be done in small increments first we can do one coin out of our office and move up as the buyer feels comfortable. already completed several transactions with the seller. just  a short background on my self im new to the crypto but my experience is in the investment banking..

i got to meet these people through my meryll lynch account. large part of their portfolio is in btc. i understand theres a lot of frauds in this industry contact me 714 724 8506 on telegram and ill put you directly to the seller and answer any questions.  serious buyers please thanks

But why should anybody trust him to purchase bitcoin instead of using exchanges? I will be surprised if anyone falls victim to this shadow project.
I sent an email to that address and am waiting for response; i will post the results here.

According to my experience in the internet within the crypto environment, this forum remains to be the best place for job seekers/offers.
You won't find more good suggestions out of this nice thread made by user Lauda sticked in the begginers board.

You can also monetize your skills in design, web developement,... by visiting freelance websites using btc as paiement. Try this one: btc4job.com
57  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What languages do I need for blockchain programming? on: January 04, 2019, 01:09:24 PM
In the blockchain developement zone, best-known programming languages that can be used in the making of blockchain are:
C++ most known coding language.
Java used in website designing as it is easy to connect the link between blocks of information.
Python can perform many tasks with a single command and it makes the work of building blocks with relevant information and linking them together so much easier.
Ruby enables the use of a mix of languages to create a blockchain that cannot be easily hacked by its users.
Solidity :
Quote
Solidity is a contract-based language that is primarily used to enhance the use of EVM machines. One of the reasons why programmers prefer using this language to build the blockchain is the fact that it can catch hold of any iteration at the time of coding. It saves you a lot of time while creating the message to send across to another user. You can easily procure information and tutorials on the language that makes it accessible to the masses. It is one of the best expressions that you can use for smart contracts or blockchain for that matter.
Source: https://dzone.com/articles/what-are-the-top-5-blockchain-programming-language

Java, Python, & Ruby are generally easier for newcomers as they have less of a learning curve while C++ & Solidity usually take more time to learn.

*am not a programmer but just trying to share ideas based on my daily searches in the web, please correct me if you find something wrong.

I just found a compatible version but from an unknown source claiming to offer safe APK.
<...>
Seriously, i have just understood that i can get a compatible version for my mobile android from the github releases. No i didn't download any apk from an unknown source but the site i found for apk contains all versions of bitpay wallets and i didn't find any accusations about it in the web. You can take a look here: https://apkpure.co/bitpay-secure-bitcoin-wallet/

About the apk, there are "clone"websites, but I would not entrust my funds to them. I have no idea why did OP uninstall for upgrade. If the upgrade is correct and legit, it will come as an upgrade, not as reinstall.
As i had a stored seed, i thought that i can reinstall a new upgraded version instead of upgrading the installed one.
Yes my mobile phone is old and run with 4.4.2 android version, and i think all the mobiles i tried run with old versions too.

Thank you everybody

In fact, i didn't find that information during my searches but you may have right, i use old android version and may be it's the same for the other mobiles i used for test. I just found a compatible version but from an unknown source claiming to offer safe APK.
Thanks, i will contact the support.

Glad to hear news about enlargement of the bitcoin adoption in different countries affecting more industries. I just want to make a note about BitPay, you may be won't face problems as a BitPay merchant but as a simple user i think it's just a good wallet for clients compagnies using BitPay for crypto-paiements; Some of its versions contain some vulnerabilities and most mobile versions can't install it via Google-Play.

Some upgrades are required as mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092321.msg49014416#msg49014416
