41  Economy / Services / Re: E-Coin November Signature Campaign[Upto 0.2 per month] + Best Poster Bonus[Full] on: December 06, 2015, 02:24:30 PM
Just received the payment, too bad that there isn't any free spots for seniors for the December campaign.
It was a good time to be part of this, now is the moment to lock this topic maybe.
Thanks.

My apologies for the delay in sending your payment smith coins. The tx didn't broadcast properly when I initially sent it yesterday.

I just want to note that I am not in any way supporting the ponzi that the campaign is promoting. I am merely escrowing the funds that are to be paid out to the signature campaign participants on a weekly basis. This signature campaign's status does not directly correlate to the status of the ponzi website it is used to promote, please be very aware of this.

Do your own research and use common sense when investing in anything, especially when it comes to ponzis as they are known to and will eventually collapse regardless of how long they've been online/paying.

I am strictly escrowing funds for this signature campaign only. The funds escrowed here are not the same as the ones used by the site to payout it's members. The funds escrowed here are only for the signature campaign participants.

I apologize for my delay in posting the message. I was in a rural area this morning so I couldn't get online due to lack of internet/poor connection. I can confirm that I have received the funds in escrow and that I will be escrowing the funds and payments for this signature campaign. Signed message below, I could not post it here earlier as the thread was locked yesterday:

Payments will be distributed by me based on the payment schedule determined by the campaign manager/owner.

the above is correct,  he wants me to use someone i have no idea about

he said LBC escrow is easily manipulated LOL   that ended the conversation with me

You'll find that most people around here would prefer a trusted member from this community to act as escrow if you're going to advertise here. I do personally agree that LBC escrow is fine for most cases as far as BTC exchanges go.

This transaction shows only 6 5 people. There are 12 qualified people. Where's other half?

I was told by the campaign manager to only payout to those who have their payday today (Dec. 1st). I will ask him to address this question to clarify further.

I would recommend you to use escrow regardless of member rank. Even Hero and Sr. members can be scammers.

53  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory stuck on Block 385589 on: November 30, 2015, 11:26:30 PM
I've fixed it. I just had to delete the blocks and chainstate folders and let Armory redownload everything. Took me about 16 hours to have everything back up and running but it fixed it Smiley
54  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory stuck on Block 385589 on: November 30, 2015, 03:22:01 AM
Bitcoin core is actually showing correct block height which is 385972 as of this post.

Should I still post the debug.log? Would it be safe to post publicly here?

Thanks for your response Smiley

You've already gotten scammed once on here, why did you not use escrow or a mediator for this trade?
56  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory stuck on Block 385589 on: November 30, 2015, 01:51:11 AM
My Armory wallet seems to be stuck on block 385589.

I've tried rescanning and rebuiling databases several times but no luck. I haven't tried a "Factory Reset" yet though.

Running Armory 0.93.2 and Bitcoin Core 11.2.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? I have several missing transactions because my wallet seems to be stuck on this block and it's not syncing.

Any help would be much appreciated! Smiley

I will be away for about 1 week. I am spending time with family and will be out of town so I won't be able to provide escrow for the most part.

60  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 11:04:59 PM
Good catch NLNico. Although I am sure a ton of people signed up for their newsletter and could have possibly fell for the scam if they didn't check the website addresses. Fortunately it seems like gmail is blocking their e-mails and sending them straight to SPAM so hopefully that will help reduce the amount of victims and give them enough time to find this thread and other warnings. Also it's great that theymos added the announcement on the forum header, I would not have found this otherwise.
Because of this signature campaign(bitcoinblackfriday) I found at that black friday existed, so I was very happy because I found out something new and cool. I signed up with my email, so I looked today for an email, but could not find it. Why did gmail, block it, did they know they were a scam? If it was not went to spam, I would have bought some stuff, I am very lucky that I have not checked my spam box Smiley

Thanks for discovering this scam Nico, and save some people from being scammed!

Gmail blocks these newsletter type e-mails quite frequently. I only ever check my spam folder when I am specifically looking for something that might've been sent there instead of my inbox. Gmail blocking them could be due to any of the following: poorly configured mail servers, mail servers/IPs are blacklisted, Gmail detected spam-like behaviour from the sender, etc.
