41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Things you DONT like the bounty and signature campaigns on: August 28, 2018, 12:00:55 PM
If those are required then so be it, what i do not like in a signature campaign is they change the rules when bounty is ending  and they do not mention at first that they can change the rules anytime.
You have a valid point.
Not every campaign manager does that. Many campaign manager mentions that in early stages about possibility of change in rules anytime. Sometimes it is the bounty-sign owners who change their mind and ask bounty-sig camp manager to convey their message. Thus manager ends up getting flak for it.

First thing first: this poll is about sharing your opinions. This poll is neither about attacking others opinion nor justifying yours. Thus stop attacking others opinion and share your feedback if you are interested.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Things you DONT like the bounty and signature campaigns on: August 27, 2018, 06:47:55 PM
Hello all,

From time to time I've seen that for joining bounty and signature campaigns have imposed certain rules to ensure better candidates are enrolling. And at the same time campaign is reaching wide spread as well. Things have started to become weirder with every season when campaign admin imposes new rules which makes the joining those campaigns an awful experience. Then again candidates join it for monetary(there is nothing wrong in it). However from time to time even a good poster may be having second thoughts about joining these campaigns.

My intention is to short list those reason which are so awful and pathetic that you move away from these campaign or even if you join them you loathe them.

You could add your own additional reasons in comment section as  well.

PS: fixed some typos and framing of sentences.
44  Local / India / Re: Vishal Gupta is creating an exchange that gives back 70% commission to users on: August 20, 2018, 05:40:14 AM
Those who are still rooting for this scam should understand that they are doing more harm to others.
45  Local / India / Re: Instead of a ban, India may turn cryptocurrencies into a commodity on: July 24, 2018, 07:55:48 PM
Things are still haywire as far as bitcoin is concerned. Also considering  bitcoin as commodity will pave a way to other ICO to be treated as commodity and given a situation India does not have proper governing  body for monitoring crpto things are not that bright.
46  Local / India / Re: What is your view on 2018 about crypto in India? on: July 16, 2018, 07:04:51 AM
As far as our country is concerned crypto are facing quite difficult and govt policies have made the crypto a least interesting investment option. Things will totally depend on how overall international govt deals with crypto in long run.

Those interested in the crypto should keep working on their porfolio if they could liquidate it.
47  Local / India / Re: Zebpay played a big game or is genuinely concerned?? on: July 05, 2018, 11:32:56 AM
Those who are bitching about the zebpay manipulating the prices and earning profit on premiums, are easily forgetting one thing that everyone did that. Even now one could notice that bitcoin vendor try to earn via premium amount.  As far as zebpay is concerned they overdid it. At the same time they also managed to give decent support to their customers.
48  Other / Meta / Re: The Reality of this forum on: June 25, 2018, 09:56:36 AM
OPs comment looks less of an insight and more of a rant from the person who missed the train. There are forum-members who are working on improving traffic and contents, whereas some are just here for making good money. Current rules for profile have been enforced to make the forum a better place. Just because a new member finds it difficult to make progress in ranking due to these rules does not mean the reboot of forum should be implemented. This kind of attitude only underlines the lack of conscience and nothing else.
It is better to accept the reality as it is and move on.

It is better to wait at this moment. There are many withdrawal related problems from many bitcoin wallets and exchanges.
50  Local / India / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for day trading? on: May 25, 2018, 10:52:44 AM
coinsecure was good till it was running. Now there are some other exchanges like bittrex which require kind of strict background check are also good. You could check the zebpay as well. However I'm doubtful about intra day performance.
51  Other / Meta / sMerit level not topping-up after a month or so? on: May 23, 2018, 11:19:23 AM
SInce last few days it has been observed that sMerit points are not topping-up after month.  Question How often does sMerit get top-up?
If it is monthly: then why it is not reflecting?

Does it require current sMerit to be drained in order to get new merit points?

PS: I've referred original merit thread which covers its introduction. It does not cover this.
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it bitcoin haram? on: May 22, 2018, 07:48:13 AM
Haram means illegal, I don't see any special and logical reason behind the bitcoin is illegal. Day by day it's gaining popularity among the people who engage in virtual work. So i 100% believe that its is totally contradict the people idea about haram of bitcoin because its 100% halal (legal).

Bitcoin is a currency.
Dollar is a currency.
Pound is a currency.
Euro is a currency.
All other fiats are currency...

Dollar, Pound, Euro and all others currencies are Haram?

I leave you to justify your statement yourself.

Though the Dollar, British pound are not haram/illegal, there is quite good reason for that. First reason is US dollar,  british Pound are recognized by their respective country as a legal currency. Same is true for currency supported by other countries. Every country has their own currency. This is where bitcoin or for that matter cryptocurrency differ from other. These are not backed up by other govts(mostly). Many of them find it encroaching countries right to control economy.

To sum up, in purest sense bitcoin or cryptocurrency is not haram/illegal. Its legality totally depends on country in which you reside in.

54  Local / India / How are bitcoin exchanges/wallets surviving without banking support? on: May 10, 2018, 07:23:02 AM
Few weeks ago, many financial banks have imposed ban on transfer/retrieval to/from crypto-exchanges and crypto-service provider? Majority of these exchanges or crypto-service provider wallets dont support cash. So how are they surviving?
55  Local / India / Re: Should Bitcoin be banned in India? on: April 27, 2018, 09:08:55 AM
Bitcoin trade has already been banned in the India, Check following link:

RIP crypto
56  Local / India / Re: How to convert BTC into FIAT after exchanges end relationship with the banks? on: April 27, 2018, 09:01:50 AM
Localbitcoins is a very safe option, what trust issue can there be?Look for a trusted trader and trade with him.I met a trader at localbitcoins and have been selling/buying bitcoins from him ever since.

Make sure the trader is verified, has an old account with good trust.P2P is the best way of trading bitcoins, you just have to be careful. There is risk in everything, you have to be smart enough to assess and eliminate those risks.
Localbitcoin is not very safe at all. There are lot of impostors who may block your own bitcoin. Generally buyers backs out from the deal in the very end (after your bitcoins are shifted to the escrow account), causing escrowed bitcoins remain there for considerable amount of time.
I'm not saying localbitcoin is a den of fraudsters. One just need to be very careful while cashing out the coins. If possible get face to face trade.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I regret not investing in the low point and today the price rises so high on: April 26, 2018, 09:14:33 AM
Having regret for not investing at lowest point is a classical sign of amateur  greenhorn investor. Investing at lowest point is possible either with advanced knowledge about those event(insider trading) or sheer luck.  Again this kind of person would regret for not able to reap profit at highest price. There are theories which indicates about the possibilities of making profit increases when you play with flow.
58  Local / India / Re: Coinsecure gets hacked after their bank account suspension on: April 18, 2018, 07:58:49 AM
I still have the trust with coinsecure. I wish them best of luck and recover soon.
59  Local / India / Bitcoin Price Could Hit $25,000 This Year on: April 16, 2018, 08:39:44 PM

 https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-at-25000-price-is-headed-to-the-moon-analyst/

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the significance of altcoins in economics of crypto world? on: April 03, 2018, 02:03:46 PM
You're quite correct with tokens having alternate use other than as currency. Alternate cryptos have paved the way for newcomers or people with the less money to enter in the market of cyrpto-currency. Also alt-crypto currencies give chance to a person  to earn more coins with trading. Price changes in the altcrypto are normally high and thus slight increase of 5 percent or 1 percent could yield sufficiently high profit.
Alternative cryptos are now standing on their own and are less reliant on bitcoin. Though bitcoin being the big tree in crypto world and any changes in it affect other as well. However majority of  them have carved a place for themself.
